Lynn never really thought that this would be the life she was able to live.
When she and Jareth moved in to their home, she didn't have much. Just the clothes on her back and the hope of a better future. A future that didn't include being a military experiment for the hopes of a super soldier. Where she could be around others like her after believing all her life that she was the last of her kind. That she could live her life beside her mate, who not only had been a member of her favorite band, but had been her celebrity crush since she discovered them. Some days, it felt surreal. Like she was going to wake up in the jail cell-like room she had been in her whole existence, the pale concrete walls closing in on her as she was briefed on another one of Travis's premonitions.
On those days, she clung to Jareth, who - as cliche as it sounded - was her anchor in all things. He was the one to talk her out of her panic attacks, to reassure her that her feelings were valid but be her voice of logic at the same time. He taught her how to be a werewolf, to be a part of a pack. He took her out on runs, showing her the nooks and crannies of the New Dawn Pack. He sang to her, showed her how to play guitar. Wrote songs for her and with her. Because of him, she found herself. She wasn't Lynn, super soldier and last of her kind. She was Lynn, the girl that was living the dream.
Lynn remembered the first day she saw their little house. It was a two-bed, two-bath bungalow style house, with navy blue paneling and a cute wooden porch. It had an attic, with two windows facing out toward the front yard, a basement that was currently converted to a place perfect for practicing band mates though could be used as a panic room, and a two-car garage for their vehicles (in order to get a driver's license, Lynn had to obtain a fake identity, which was a nerve-wracking for her). It was minuscule compared to her Aunt Jewel's place in the Nightstar Pack, but to Lynn, who was used to the bare bones of her quarters back at the compound, it was a mansion.
Move in day was at the same time exciting and jarring. Everyone came to help out, from Jareth's family to hers. Then Andy, Chase, Void and Amnesty. Lynn was more of an introvert, preferring to be alone with Jareth in all things. So having so many people at their new place was overwhelming, to say the least. A good kind of overwhelming, though! For someone who was told that she was alone in all things, she had been in awe at how everyone came to help the newly-mated couple start a new life together. She had saved the tears until after everyone had gone home, grateful that she had a support system. People she could call family.
She hadn't realized that that was what she wanted until she had it. And the feeling was amazing.
Mornings were her favorite time of the day. Jareth was an early bird because his body was like clockwork. No matter how late they stayed up the night before, whether watching movies, writing music, or ... other activities, he was always up at a certain time. He had told her it was because his mother, Ventia, had beaten a routine in him since he was a pup. On the other hand, Lynn liked to sleep in. It was a luxury she didn't take for granted. Jareth usually woke her, whether by making breakfast for them or borderline demanding to devour her instead. While she liked both, she figured that she would give him a break this morning. So she set her alarm for 45 minutes before his biological timer went off and set to work in the kitchen, remembering all the times she's seen him in there whipping up delicious meals fit for royalty. Watching him work his magic. Now, she tried recalling those times for a step-by-step process on how to make pancakes, sausage, and hash browns.
At first, everything started out smoothly. Starting with the sausage first, she let them brown on their electric stove top on medium heat. The pancakes were where it started to get hairy, where she misread the directions on the box and put too much water to the batter. It was a soupy white mess that made thin floppy pancakes. She threw out that first batch and tried again, reading the directions carefully and momentarily forgetting that the sausage patties needed to be flipped in order to be cooked all the way through. The smell of burnt meat rattled her werewolf nose, and she cursed before flipping them over.
"Motherfucker. Do we have anymore?"

Whenever Jareth awoke from slumber his awareness snapped straight into life, not lingering sleepily as was the common reaction instead alert and ready to start the day. He shifted on the bed turning towards Lynn's side, he knew she was gone from not feeling her sleeping form still deep asleep, her warm lush body curved against his side but he could still feel her warmth with her scent being his soft escape from the outside world. He lingered only too happy to cherish the feeling.
He could also smell the burnt meat and hear some tinkering from outside their bedroom and found himself smirking lazily, stretching out his legs and smoothing the palm of his hand over the her side of the mattress. Still it didn't compare to the real thing he thought greedily after a moment and pulled the covers off of him. Dressed in only a dark pair of boxers and a white t-shirt, he padded on bare feet out of the bedroom and down the long hall and passage way to where the kitchen was, tucked on almost the opposite end to where their bedroom was.
"Hello gorgeous," his voice was a low murmur, if there was one thing that had changed the most during their time in moving in together was their confidence in being mates and a couple. They slept together every night their bed never lacking the other, they took showers and baths together, they spent all their time with one another getting comfortable and secure in everything that made them who they were.
She brought out the best and the worst parts out of him, what he considered his 'worst' was the possessive tendencies he had at random moments of his entire life something his mother had frequently said he had gotten from his father, a King of Rouges so to say his name had both been feared and was a inspiration for those in the Deadlands. Still to this moment, he had never met his dad the man being dead had been a bit of a issue until now, and while he was expecting a visit soon he wasn't in a rush.
Still he hadn't always liked his chaotic streak until it was what had saved both him and his mate. His Lynn. He realized then that it was a crucial piece of himself and he shouldn't shun it away as it was a bad thing in entirely. It helped that Lynn liked what little slips he showed of it, giving him the confidence to let loose a little more the next time.
His musings which had only been a moment in real time had given her a second to center herself before he stepped behind her, his height easily towering over her in their open spaced kitchen. His thick arms wrapped around her middle, bending his head a little to rest it comfortably at the top of her head, he cocked his head as he stared down at the fresh set of pancakes and sausages she had been focusing entirely too much on moments before.
"It smells good," he said and it did, the fresh aroma that was coming from the newly cleaned pan was overtaking the under current of burnt sausage that was still in the air. He chuckled lightly, their kitchen more of a mess than what it looked like when he was in charge of the cooking. He didn't mind, feeling his heart welling up with tender sweetness for what she was doing, trying to surprise him.
They would have company in a hour or so, their families, and he was having a hard time to not drag her away from this spot and get his full of her like he usually did on lazy mornings.
"Is this for me?" He asked teasingly bending his body towards her left side his face on eye level now and watching her face, the light silver in his eyes darkening with affection, his lips stretching out to a happy smile.

Lynn was dressed in her usual bedtime attire, which was similar to him. A t-shirt that belonged to him, evident in the way that the hem almost went to her knees because it was so large, and a pair of teal-colored panties that Jareth liked so much. Her hair, which she let grow out to get rid of the red she used to dye it with, was up in a messy bun, with a few strands framing her face and tickling the back of her neck. A look of concentration was on her face, brows furrowed and lips pursed as she did her task. She knew so many different ways to kill a grown man with ease and efficiency, that she wouldn't have to think twice. Making breakfast, it seemed, was a whole different matter.
She had been so caught up that she didn't realize the time. Breakfast was supposed to have been a surprise, done ten minutes before he was set to wake up. So when he walked into their kitchen, she had been slightly disappointed in herself. Lynn prided herself in being punctual, always beating the marks set for her with time to spare. But, like all things that came with Jareth, she found herself slipping. Was it because this was normalcy that she was experiencing? If so, she didn't mind. Not when her mate was looking at her like that.
He was a vision, himself. She could tell that he had slept well; his hair was sticking up in all sorts of places, with a cowlick right there at his temple. His voice was still thick with sleep, taking on a gravelly tone that sent a little shiver down her spine. And that smile? Oh, it made her knees weak. It was genuine. Divine in every sense of the word. Rarely, if ever, did he smile out in public like that. In fact, she didn't think even the other Dark Paradise members got to see how she saw Jareth. It was like she was his safe space. She didn't think he realized what a gift that was in itself.
"Hey, handsome," she replied, giving him a small shy smile as if she had been caught red-handed in the cookie jar. Then she went back to work, pouring the last of the batter into the freshly greased pan. All the while, her sensitive hearing picked up the steps he took to move behind her, her heartbeat picking up speed in anticipation. It didn't bother to slow down when his arms wrapped around her, but she couldn't help the way her back pressed against his chest. Every time they touched it was like two magnets, gravitating toward each other until they met with a satisfying click.
"I think you're just trying to make me feel better. Hey, are you laughing at me?" she asked in mock admonishment, feeling the stubble on his chin scratch her scalp as she tilted her chin to look up at him with narrowed eyes. "For shame."
At his question, she felt her cheeks redden, being transported back in time to when she had brought him breakfast the day after he was brought to the compound to recuperate. How she had been yelled at by Travis for doing something that an obsessed fan would do, and how Jareth had made her feel after that. When she found out about the tingles and what that meant for them. "Mmhmm. I thought I would try my hand at breakfast this time." For a moment, she was lost in his eyes, twin pools of silver that were darkening with every passing second. Funny how silver was toxic to shifters, but she would willingly swim in those pools if given the chance. Then she reminded herself of her task, and brushed her lips against his cheek before bumping his thigh with her butt. "You're distracting me, and I still have to make the hashbrowns."

"No I'm serious it smells good, can't you hear my stomach growing in agreement?" He was chuckling but never at her, she made him feel happy and satisfied when it was just the two of them, having her against him, even scolding him he didn't care, always made Jareth feel so good in life. His grin widened at her kiss and he squinted his eyes at her when she bumped him away.
It was as good as attempting to move a mountain, Jareth wasn't ready to let her go just yet. He moved his face until he was pressing a kiss to the side of her neck, he rubbed his face against her skin like a cat rubbing against their master's ankles, marking her skin with his scent. "I don't wanna." He rebelled childishly, tightening his arms around her middle, keeping her body snug in front of his. He kept giving her neck and shoulder little kisses, gradually making his way upwards to kiss and blow on her ear, his tongue darting out before his teeth followed, gently nibbling on her delicate flesh.
"Can't I eat you instead?" He asked softly into her ear, his voice low and knowing, "I promise to fill you up." He cocked his head to the side, staring at her face and seeing the blush taking hold of her cheeks and tips of her ears. So cute, he thought lovingly and finally straightened. He gave her one last hug, kissing the nape of her neck and then letting his hands fall.
"I'll clean up a bit after breakfast we can get ready together." He could wait, he wasn't a monster, Jareth lingered around the kitchen area cleaning a few dishes before venturing out and organizing the house a little bit more for their guests to come. By the time he was satisfied with how everything looked Lynn was calling him to sit and eat and he happily walked over.
"It really smells good, thank you babe."

Lynn hummed as if she didn't believe him, though as if on cue she heard his stomach growl in anticipation of breakfast. A sense of accomplishment had her smiling happily and feeling she could walk on air. She had always been the type to show her love through acts of service. There was one time, when Orville, human as he was, came down with the flu. She was there by his side, not only knowing that she wouldn't get it but wanting her friend to feel better too. She had microwaved chicken noodle soup in the compound staff's break room and pressed cold packs to his forehead to combat his raging fever. Now? It was evident that she wasn't great in the kitchen but did other things for Jareth to show she cared.
With Jareth responding positively, she made a mental note to take up more of the cooking duties.
She didn't complain or try to move him out of the way again, preferring that he stay in her bubble even though she was busy. Her chin lifted a little bit to give him more space, eyes closing in delight at the feel of him. His stubble scratched her teasingly. His woodsy scent tickled her nose in a loving way. Her breathing became more shallow as he tightened his hold on her, and she let herself mold to him after flipping the last pancake. She seemed to have forgotten to breathe altogether when his lips left a trail of fire up to her ear. When they first became intimate with each other, she had come to find out about herself that her ears were sensitive. It didn't matter if he blew on them, licked, nipped, or whispered promises of what he would do to her. She couldn't help the moan that escaped her, desire making her core clench with a need only Jareth could satisfy.
That blush she had only traveled over her face, but instead of giving in to the feeling of embarrassment, she looked at him with a promising glint in her eyes. Her pupils morphed into slits, the green of her irises slowly giving way to the flecks of purple she inherited from her father. "Don't threaten me with a good time."
She knew that if he continued to seduce her, she would have forgotten breakfast and their impending visitors altogether. He had that much of an effect on her.
With him stepping away she was able to breathe deeply again, but she couldn't help the pout that captured her mouth or the wanton groan that emanated from her vocal cords. All she could do was take solace in the fact that he wasn't too far away from her.
"No problem," she replied as they sat and started to eat, smiling at the word 'babe'. After she soaked her pancakes with syrup and put a liberal amount of hot sauce on her hashbrowns her free hand made its way to his thigh under the table and squeezed gently.
Her eyes grew distant at the thought of her parents and his mother coming by later; the familiar presence of nervousness settled in her gut. "Is your dad coming too?"

"I don't think so, not today." He paused, taking comfort from her touch she understood his predicament more than anyone he knew, Lynn hadn't known either of her parents before they found her and suddenly she had both her dad and her mother in her life. Gem and Aiden were great and everything had been very positive for her but Jareth knew that Lynn had felt all kinds of emotions in those first months.
They were fumble and make mistakes but that was what families were. Jareth felt his eyes softening, the lazy silver in his eyes lightening, "I'm sure it'll be okay, I won't let the opportunity pass but I can wait for a bit for the guy to get used to breathing again." He chuckled he didn't want to overwhelm his mystery Dad for Jareth was sure he had his hands filled with his sisters and Mom.
He had been worried about his Mom for a long time now, as he and Katie grew older leaving her protective circle he could see her start slipping away, the one thing she still felt the same about was her position in the Pack, as their Beta. It was the sole thing needy of her, the only thing she could still protect. He liked that side of his mother and knew his own selfish distance from her was part of the reason why his strong mother would feel like a shell of herself whenever he visited her at home where she could be vulnerable as anyone else could in their home.
He hoped dad coming back and Katie too would help his mom. He hoped the hole in her heart would finally begin to heal and he would have his mother around for a long time. At her most recently grandbaby hint, he felt like he would. That hope had came into her life at the nick of time.
"I am excited to see Katie and Mom again. I can't believe its been seven years since I saw her." He told Lynn about what happened with Katie and why his little sister decided she had to run away from home. He always felt ashamed of what happened, wondering why he hadn't managed to be there for neither his mom or sister. But he had saved Lynn. It was what helped him during a rough night that and knowing he would do better the next time around someone tried to mess with his family.
Reaching over to cup her knee he gave it a little squeeze, "She'll love you, I just hope you don't find her too annoying." He teased but it was true nonetheless, his sister could be a bit too much sometimes but she was a good soul and he loved her very much and wanted his mate to like her too. If they became friends even better. Although he was sure that was bound to happen knowing the pair.
"Now your dad on the other hand still manages to make me think I'm tip toeing around a very angry dragon which is exactly what he is so you can imagine how scared I get when he gives me his hard stare. It's always when you're not looking mind you and..." He drew out the word a bit too sheepishly, "usually after I say something or touch you somewhere he doesn't like."
Jareth shook his head, inhaling down some of the food with his precise forkfuls, and reached for the cup of apple juice he had for himself, taking a swallow he gave Lynn another knowing look. "I'll try my best to be a respectable gentleman in your father's presence. I don't think burnt will be a good look for me." He chuckled even if that possibility was slightly lower than what it should be but knowing the man who was going to be his future father in law he was sure Aiden would find a way to light his ass on fire.
He finished eating in no time at all and eased the plate slightly away, leaning his arm on the table and then his face into his open palm, he watched as Lynn finished eating. He loved watching her if he could he would spend the entire day getting his fill, although they still needed to bring food to the table and pay their bills.
The band was doing good, their mini tour in June had been their biggest success and since then they were getting pretty busy. Thank his lucky stars that Lynn worked with him or else he was sure their happy routine wouldn't be so happy, as it was he made sure their hours were almost identical and they would always have their off days the same days as long there wasn't a emergency. Jareth loved his days off, loved being able to spend them with Lynn doing whatever she pleased.
Hanging out with the family? He was fine with it. Going out to the Town? Sure let's catch a movie while we're out there. Staying in? She barely made it out of bed those days. He smiled lights dancing in his eyes, he didn't know he could love someone so much and yet here she was, his obsession with his mate growing day by day in the most best and worst ways. He thought with a chuckle. Already looking forward to tonight.
"Do you want to shower with me?"

When Jareth told Lynn about his father's absence in his life, she felt for him. During her time at the compound, she had been told that her parents were wanted for espionage, being hunted down by the best of the best to face justice. She had Major Jenkins as a father figure, but it had paled in comparison to Aiden's attempts to be part of her life. She remembered when Ventia told them that Ivan was back from the dead, and Jareth's reaction to that. She was definitely surprised. Death was supposed to have been permanent. She hadn't asked, as it wasn't her place, but she wanted to know how he had reversed such a sentence.
She couldn't help the feeling of relief when her mate said he wasn't; she was terrible with meeting new people, and while she was sure that meeting Ivan wouldn't be as bad as her anxiety made it out to be, there would always be an inkling of doubt.
Like with Jareth's sister. To be honest, Katie sounded like she went through a lot in the seven years she had been separated from her family. It was a testament to how durable the Blacks were. Lynn saw pictures of her when she and Jareth were younger, mostly free from the hardships of life. She imagined her mate's sister now as a mini-me of Ventia, whom she had been intimidated by when she first met the Beta. Would Katie like her? Would they get along? She's heard of some crazy in-law stories and didn't want for that to be the case with any of Jareth's family. The band had taken her in with no qualms, affectionately calling her their little sister. And Ventia teased about grandkids further down the road, so she must like Lynn at least a little bit. Katie was an unknown variable. As much as she hated it and would love to just skip past the "nice to meet you" phase, she couldn't.
Maybe it was better if his father had come too. Get it done and over with like ripping off a bandaid. If it hadn't been for Jareth touching her she probably would have had an attack right then.
His "annoying" comment had her laughing despite her anxiety. "Surely not," she defended Katie, shaking her head at him. "But I'm excited for you too. Seven years is a long time."
At the mention of her father and his protective tendencies, she couldn't help but laugh again. Getting to know Aiden was like getting to know a teddy bear. Although intimidating at first, and her not trusting either of her parents easily, he was more than making up for the time he had lost. He had ... grown on her, and while she wasn't ready to call him Dad, she knew that if she needed him he would be there in a heartbeat. "You know, he told me a little bit about mates back on his home planet - which, by the way, is still mindblowing to think that my father is a literal alien dragon. He said that the women were held in high esteem because they were like the goddess they worship before she became a goddess. And the female dragons, when they found their mates, had full authority over them and could decide whether or not he was worthy to sire her offspring. If he wasn't, she had every right to kill him or at least have him be killed." She paused as if she was experiencing something click into place. "Now that I think about it, he was very adamant in telling me this information. I can see him sending daggers your way," she teased.
The word gentleman had her rolling her eyes playfully, knowing full well that Jareth could play the part out in the outside world, but she liked it when he wasn’t. "I don't feel like he would unless I ask him to. So don't worry, I'll protect you. Touch me wherever you want." She sent him a flirtatious smile, not minding him staring as she finished up her own plate. She had gotten used to it, slowly but surely, remembering the first time she had caught him doing so and worried about everything from 'there's something on my face' to 'maybe I'm not his type'. Now, she would be worried if he didn't look her way at least once a day.
"What do you think?" she asked in return, giving him a "duh" look. Even if she had done so earlier that day, she always took the opportunity to shower with him. They took turns washing and lavishing attention on each other as if that would be the last time they would ever touch. And they would take their time, too, sometimes until the hot water ran out. It was one of her favorite activities to do together.
With their now-empty plates and pans in the sink, they made their way to the bathroom. Used to, she would have her clothes already picked out and a towel hanging over the rack waiting for her. Sharing a communal bathroom would do that to a person. Now, she didn't have to worry about it, not taking for granted the freedom of being able to walk around her house naked. Her very own home. Their home. The thought had her smiling as she turned the water on and adjusted it to how Jareth preferred it. She was able to withstand the hottest temperature the water could go, a perk of being half-dragon. Her mate? He joked that she liked to bathe in hellfire. Still, it was pretty steamy, the mirror already starting to fog up.
Satisfied, she turned at tugged at her mate's shirt, asking silently if she could take it off of him, her eyes once more taking on dragon-like qualities as she looked up at him.

Jareth had been smiling to himself the whole walk back to their master bedroom, it was the biggest room in the house layering out like a mini apartment with a bathroom separated by its own door, then a hallway with two walk-in closets on both sides that opened up to a large space that had their california king size bed straight in the middle. Each side a mix of their own things with their work desks being side to side styled out as any gamer couple would. He had recently taught Lynn how to play games and it turned out she was getting better than him. They had led strip lights over the outline of their ceilings which Jareth liked to control just before bed for the best lightshow of course.
He was thinking about what she had just said about dragon culture and mates, while the exact nature of it raised a few brows and concerns, he could very well see Lynn being goddess material. He wondered briefly if had she been born there if things would have been any different for them. Maybe her dragon side would have overpowered the wolf instincts in her, maybe she would have wanted to choose a mate from her dragon counterpart.
As if he beckoned that side of her, it burned fiercely within her lovely depths and Jareth as always was smitten for those eyes. As big and tall as he was Jareth could have melted to his feet if that was what she wanted of him. Her love, her passionate feelings for him, were burning through at him, for him. His brief doubt of his place by her side was doused in hellfire, burning the idea to a crisp as if she wanted nothing to do with such thoughts.
Jareth bit the inside of his cheek, hiding back a self satisfied smile he savored the feeling of her hands sliding over his body as he helped her get the shirt off. His skin was cold compared to hers, those negative thoughts might as well have been ice in his veins, but as her hands came back to roam lazily across his lean and cut chest, Jareth could feel her insane heat warming his skin in seconds.
His arms circled around her shoulders, bringing her into his chest, his palms sliding down the curve of her back the softness of her skin making his plain ole shirt feel like a cloud rather than cotton. His fingers dipped under the hem as he dipped his head, kissing her ear gently as his fingers caught and slipped along the outline of her panties. One hand paused while the other continued on it its slow path to cup one ass cheek, giving the plump curve a tight squeeze, the softness of her panty with the roughness of his squeeze made Jareth feel like he was squeezing something incredibly soft and pleasurable.
The steam was getting to him, mixing in her scent and spreading it all through the closed bathroom. Unable to resist her anymore, he dragged his fingers down taking her panties along with the motion, his fingers raking teasingly across her skin until he reached her lower thighs and let the garment go. It slipped down to her ankles.
"Arms up." He said softly, his voice low and hungry, as his fingers caught the hem of his shirt and pulled up quickly, not waiting for her to comply because he knew she always did, when she was standing scarlet pink in front of him, nothing obstructing his view of her, Jareth felt himself groan regretting the early hour in which they set the date for.
Pulling down his own boxers Jareth stepped out of them and gave Lynn only a second to eat him up with her eyes before he urged her into the waiting water, his fingers following down the water's path of her back squeezing and rubbing her skin while pressing his lower self against her tight ass. His cock fit perfectly along the curve of her and Jareth growled lightly under his breath, bending to press wet kisses along her shoulder.
His hands curving around her lingering and fondling for a moment before ultimately grabbing the loofah. "I could cancel y'know?" He teased lightly but knew that they were both looking forward to today. Still...he could have... He sighed retreating his arms and moving around to grab her body wash, pouring a sizable amount into the loofah he turned to begin washing her when she took the loofah away from his hand with her own teasing sultry smile.
"It's my turn." But his protest lacked its luster, because Jareth knew all too well what his lovely mate could do with her skillful fingers and he was very much looking forward to it.

It was like her skin came alive with every inch Jareth's hands roamed, very much aware of where every fingertip was. Because she ran hot all the time, his skin felt cool to the touch. Which was just fine with her, she thought as her fingers found their way to his back. Lynn loved his body as much as she loved every other part that made him who he was, but his back? She wasn't sure why it was her favorite part. It just was. There were days when she would find herself staring at it as the muscles flexed with every move he made, and when they made love she couldn't help but leave her mark on it, claiming her territory if anyone should ever see him shirtless.
This time, she didn't press hard enough to leave any sort of claim. Just to enjoy the feel of him beneath her touch. All the while, she had been looking at him, committing to memory of every feature of his face as if she hadn't done so before and this would be the only time she got to see it. When he bent his head toward her she had closed her eyes, expecting their lips to meet but finding that she didn't mind when he kissed her ear instead. Coupled with his squeezing, it had her hissing out her pleasure and arching her back into him.
She had to behave. They were expecting company soon. Lynn kept that mantra in her head as they stood under the running water, dismissing the thought of having a quickie entirely. She and Jareth have tried that before. Over and over again, she reminded herself. But "five minutes" always lasted longer than that, causing them to be late for things such as rehearsal. Lynn definitely didn't want their families to get here while they were preoccupied either. Besides, it wasn't like they didn't have all night tonight.
It was hard to breathe, though, let alone think logically, when she felt his cock against her ass. His growl sent little waves of goosebumps over her body, a physical manifestation of her pleasure in knowing she was the one to do that to him. She reached up behind her to press her palm against his neck as she pressed her lower half back against him, anchoring him to her, letting him touch her however he pleased until he pulled away from her and went to wash her. "Don't tempt me," she begged with a laugh, knowing how much both of them wanted their families here. She knew that Gem was excited, too - the woman was always excited when Lynn reached out to her first, willing to drop what she was doing for her long-lost daughter.
"You went first last time," she teased, setting the loofah aside to pick up the bar of soap he used. She didn't need an excuse to kiss him of course, but when she wrapped her arms around his neck and stood on her toes it had been the ulterior motive for her lathering his soap since he was closer to the showerhead. She pressed her lips against the corner of his mouth teasingly, before making her way to his jaw and then down to his neck. There, she nipped him, over the mark she had created to open the mate link they had now the first day they met. Lynn smiled to herself then, briefly thinking about the person she used to be and how she never would have believed this was her life now.
She pulled away just long enough to bring her hands back down from his neck, no longer standing on her toes but stepping just close enough to be two inches away from him. With the bar of soap in one hand, gliding over his body smoothly, the other hand slowly traveled down to his cock, stroking him leisurely. "Kiss me."

“With pleasure.” Voice dark and filled with his desire for her, Jareth bent and captured her lips in his without another word, sounds on the other hand…his groan was low and rough, almost another growl as her hot fingers continued to stroke and clean him.
He kissed her hard, the complete opposite of the lazy rhythm of her strokes, urging her to open her mouth for him with his invading tongue and teeth until the kiss turned lewd and wet, the sounds of their tongues twirling around another and then sucking filled the bathroom, Lynn’s soft moans and the steady rhythm of her fingers making him feel needier than ever and really considering to call everyone and cancel.
His hands never seemed to stop moving, touching and squeezing her somewhere then moving on to brush and grind somewhere else, trailing into her wet hair and tugging her closer, only to massage his way down her back and cupping her ass again. He even molded one hand over hers and urged her to quicken the pace, while his other hand cupped her mound and started to tease her already wet clit.
They teased and pleasured each other, not having to worry about the water going cold since the heater wouldn’t turn off, their climaxes always moments away before they pulled away, chuckling at each other and choosing to focus on the shower until their touches began to get too touchy again.
This was where they were at again, their bodies and hair fully washed, waiting for the conditioner to set in, Jareth had chosen to sit down with his back to the tiled wall and his legs stretched out in the huge tub. He had taken Lynn down with him, the water had been drained and now was filling up the bath.
She was sitting between his legs, her back on his chest, her head resting in the curve of his neck, Jareth had his arms around her middle and was enjoying her warmth with his fingers dancing over her belly, he bent down kissing her bare shoulder his eyes fixated to the swell of her breasts and her taunt nipples. His mouth watered wanting another taste and bite. Instead he cupped them with his hands, they fit and filled his palms as if she were made for him, his cock jerked for attention, he ignored it and took his time to lavish her as she had him.
“So beautiful, like a goddess.” He whispered into her ear, rubbing the pink buds with his thumbs, “Mine. All mine. Every inch. You belong to me Lynn. This,” he squeezed her tits a little tighter, “belongs to me. If anyone tries to see you naked, he won’t live. If they try to touch you, they’re dead.” The darkness in his voice was both scary and seductive, “Only me Lynn. Only I can kiss you. Only I can touch you. Only I can make love to you.”
His wolf’s possessive nature was leaking out both in his words and tone of his voice and in the dance of colors within his eyes, both the silvers and darkness with vivid blues, dilating and expanding, becoming so bright then becoming so dark, his body was humming both with the tingles and his desire to make her know that she belonged solely to him. His desire to have her, both her body and heart and even her soul if he could manage it.
Jareth wanted it all, he’s never been a greedy child while growing up, even as a young adult he let many things slip away from his fingers that he had actually liked, but this, her, his mate and lover, the woman he planned on marrying and having kids with, the only woman he would ever love, his Lynn, well Jareth would not budge one mili miter. He was here to stay. She was here to stay. They weren’t going anywhere.
He kissed his mating mark on her sweet spot, in the middle of her neck and shoulder, their bond crystallizing within his minds eye, beautiful and strong, her feelings for him as strong as his for her.
Despite feeling needier for her more than ever Jareth also knew they needed to hurry it up. The conditioner had set by now so Jareth sigh knowing he would need to put a cap on his desires until the last car drove away. It was already feeling like torture, finally releasing her soft flesh Jareth grabbed the clean plastic cup he usually left in the tub and began scooping water from the still filling tub. It was quite a big one.
Since he didn’t want to get up just yet, he poured the warm water onto Lynn’s hair, protecting her eyes with his hand and rinsing out some of the conditioner with every downpour.

The first time Lynn and Jareth ever had sex, his possessive nature had come out full force. She wasn't going to lie - it had scared her, triggering a panic attack that had her locked in the bathroom for a couple of hours. Of course, it had also been Jareth to talk her down, apologizing and promising that he would never hurt her. Those vows he made to her that night woke something within her. Something that she felt went deeper than even the bond with her wolf. That something raised its head and uncoiled from its slumber, rumbling with approval and desire and need.
It was there even now, moving languidly and with the same desire that Lynn felt. His scent, not unlike the smell of the trees that surrounded their home, played with another of fire and smoke. She couldn't help the moan his words elicited from her, catching her bottom lip with her teeth. Her sex clenched with need, demanding that it be filled with him. But, like him, she ignored her mounting desire. Instead, she let his whispered promises dance across her skin, leaving goosebumps in their wake.
Never had death threats sounded so sexy.
"The same goes for you, you know," she responded thickly, a hand going to the back of his neck to keep him anchored to her. If there was only one thing that his possessiveness did to her, it stoked the possessiveness within her as well. The thought of anyone coming near Jareth with the intention of taking him for themselves ... incensed her. She knew logically that Jareth would never have eyes for anyone other than her. But there had been times where she's seen a few VIP fans look at him with the longing that she had a while ago, before they ever met. And it had taken all of her willpower not to show her ass and catch a few murder charges.
Yet it had been more than typical girlfriend jealousy. Because not only did she want to knock the heads of his fans together, she had to battle the urge of stealing Jareth away from the rest of the band, locking him away from the world who dared think they deserved a piece of her mate.
Aiden told her that it was because she saw Jareth as part of her horde. Dragons weren't known for sharing, Especially not the ones on Benchizuno. Once a dragon saw something they deemed valuable - and it didn't matter if it was seen by other people as valuable or not - nothing was going to take it out of its clutches. And True Ones could easily be considered the most valuable of all.
There were so many things that she could have said in this moment. She could have elaborated her own possessiveness. Could have told him what she planned to do to him once their family left for the night. Could have finalized plans on what to cook for their guests or made last-minute decisions. But as her eyes closed trustingly, relaxing even further against her mate's sturdy frame, she murmured truthfully, "I love you."
Ten minutes later, they were out, the water disappearing quickly down the drain. Wrapped only in towels - Jareth's around his waist, giving her an ample visual of his back muscles, hers tucked under her arms and one wrapped turban-style - they made their way back into their bedroom and dressed with half-hearted reluctance. She imagined that their family was making their way to them now. Lynn wasn't sure if she had time to blow dry the thick mane of hair she had, so did her best with what she had, and took the wet towels to the bin to be washed later tonight.
"Any word from your mom and sister yet?" she asked him, brushing out her damp hair. "Gem texted a few seconds ago and said she would be here shortly."

"I haven't checked yet," Jareth said over in the process of pulling on the dark blue t-shirt Lynn had recently bought for him, it was simple no designs but large and comfy, just the way Jareth liked his shirts. Once the shirt was on, he ran his hand through his hair and stood up. Already wearing the black sweats, a grey pair of boxers and his socks and shoes, Jareth moved down to where he had left his phone last. It took him a second to hunt it down, always forgetting where he had last put it, and quickly checked his recent notifications or lack of.
"Nothing yet-oh wait Katie just texted let's see seems they're going to be a little bit late like ten minutes cause Katie couldn't decide on what to wear. They're on their way now, Mom's supposedly hauling ass according to Katie." Jareth chuckled, knowing how fast his mother could go when she wanted to. It felt good to be able to text Katie like this and he sent her a reply saying that it was fine if they were a bit late, to not rush. He got a 'haha tell that to mom' reply instantly and shook his head, putting his phone safe and sound in his pocket.
"Take your time babe, I'll go outside and wait for Gem and Aiden." He walked over to her and brushed his hand through her wet mass of hair, he liked the sleek wet feeling once again thinking naughty thoughts before he veered off that course and bent down to press a kiss to her forehead. "I don't want you catching a cold." He knew it was almost impossible for shifters to catch common illnesses but he still didn't want to take any chances. Lynn was his to protect now, that honor and fact had been made clear countless times by her father, although Jareth didn't need the old man telling him something he already planned to do, it was nice all the same to know her father cared that much for her.
"I'll see you in a bit." He winked at her and strolled out of their room, his own wet hair already on its way to being dried with how much he had furiously rubbed at his temple before stepping out of the bath. Heading to the front door, Jareth unlocked and opened it and walked out a few steps to his front porch, his entryway still empty for now, although he could faintly hear the rumble of a engine. Jareth stretched out a bit, feeling his spine crack and moved to sit on one of the chairs, enjoying the morning breeze wishing winter would hurry up and make the weather a little colder.
Jareth loved the winter, loved snow, he wondered briefly if Lynn had ever experienced snow, and was already planning a snowball showdown once winter finally came. He was smiling musing to himself when he heard the car roll on in, he looked up saw the familiar faces from within the glass and stood, raising his hand in a wave as he slowly made his way down the steps to greet his future in-laws properly.

Lynn usually didn't give too much thought into how she dressed. Her wardrobe could attest to that - it was filled with a mosh posh of different clothing styles, though mainly with was filled with t-shirts and jeans, with the main color scheme being black and more muted tones. When Jareth left her to greet her parents, she had three different clothing options draped on the edge of their bed, debating on what to wear with the thought of meeting Jareth's sister for the first time in her mind.
Jareth had reassured her earlier, but her anxiety came back to stir the waters. She wanted to make a good first impression. For Katie to like her. In the end, she had opted for dark wash skinnies and a gray quarter-length-sleeved blouse French-tucked into the front to showcase the row of silver-colored buttons. It was the combo that she knew looked good because she's worn it that way before, but when she went out she paired it with a leather jacket. Today she left it in the closet, yet stuck her feet in her combat boots, just recently shined, and walked into the living room to wait for Jareth and their guests.

Gem was nervous.
Then again, when it came to Lynn, she was always nervous. When she and Aiden first met their daughter, she had looked at them and the rest of her family with suspicion and discomfort, an effect no doubt caused by the lies from the man that raised her. It had taken a while for her to warm up to them. Gem believed with no doubt that it was because of Jareth. She remembered when she first met her daughter's mate, how she had felt some jealousy and bitterness. Lynn had been taken from her side practically at birth. And as soon as they find and rescue her she has a mate? Someone she would rather spend her time with.
But Jareth never kept Lynn from them. Encouraged her to connect and establish a relationship with them. Gem was thankful for that, and believed that maybe - just maybe - Ronera was casting her favor this way by having Jareth and Lynn paired together.
The drive from her and Aiden's place in the Nightstar had been long, but for Lynn she didn't mind it. She knew that her mate had the same sentiment. They were making up for lost time. Every opportunity Lynn gave them to do exactly that, they took. Both Gem and Aiden have had one-on-one time with her since that fateful night Jareth led the charge to her rescue. Gem had told her of what it meant to be a werewolf and of their Nordic and witchy heritage. Aiden filled her in of the draconic side of things, from the origins of the clans to how the females were treated with the utmost respect. Gem remembered Aiden coming home that day looking pleased, with her not sure if it had just been because he got to spend time with Lynn.
She couldn't help the warm smile stitching itself onto her face when she saw Jareth on the porch. She returned the wave with one of her own before turning to her dragon of a mate. "You don't plan on scaring him today, do you?"

Aiden didn't like modern transportation but it was a necessary skill set to have even if he was always reminded of much easier things would be if he could freely use his wings. He cut the engine and looked out to the young but promising boy coming down the steps before turning to face his beautiful and strong mate.
"I can't make any promises but I'll try not to." He told her honestly as he unbuckled the seatbelt. Aiden also felt robbed when it came to Lynn, he had long suspected it was his karma for past mistakes which didn't help him control his boiling anger that sometimes leaked out onto Jareth. He knew the boy was innocent, that he had to cool his protective instincts and his angry stares whenever the women weren't looking, but he did get angry looking at the man who seemed to be glued to his daughter's hip, giving Gem and him almost no room to work with fixing their relationship.
He rubbed his jaw, watching as Jareth stopped a few feet from the hood from his peripheral and finally let a soft smile tug on his lips. "I'll try my best, we are meeting Ventia again and the sister." He still hadn't returned the debt he owed to both Ventia and Lucrezia when they calmed his dragon self down and until doing so, didn't feel right in acting disrespectful in their presence. He frowned slightly, knowing his sense of reason was wrong, that if that was right he should respect Jareth too and not hold some hostility but he knew when it came to parents and their offspring, reasoning and sense were tricky.
He did like the boy, could see how happy he made Lynn, and yet he still couldn't curb his jealousy as well as his mate could. "Come on beautiful." He bent forward to kiss her cheek, his skin warming from her touch, before exiting the large car and crossing over the hood. He nodded at Jareth saying hello as he caught Gem's door handle as she was already opening it. She was still too quick for him, he mused as he held it open and offered his hand to help her get out.
"Morning you guys." Jareth's tone was always friendly with Lynn's parents and watched as they stepped out of the car, keeping his distance as Aiden moved to the backseat door and bent inside. When he pulled out the flower pot filled with white gardenia's Jareth wasn't that surprised either, they liked to come with a trinket or two for Lynn. He was sure she would love it, like every other orchid or rose bud they had bought along with them before. Now they were starting to have a pretty porch garden to look at.
"Come in come in, Lynn's inside you look great Gem by the way." He smiled at her, at first he hadn't felt comfortable calling Lynn's mother by her given name but at her request it had come out natural nowadays. He made small talk with them as they made their way into the house to where Lynn waited.

Gem knew her dragon of a mate felt more intensely about Jareth than she. Lynn was his firstborn child, and when he found out she was expecting, it was like something had lit him up from within. She remembered him feeding her by hand all throughout her pregnancy. Making sure she had every luxury she could ever want. When her pregnancy further progressed, he had been by her side, helping her to walk and bathe. Every complaint of her swollen feet aching had been cut off by his calloused fingers rubbing her long days away.
The night Lynn was born, it had been storming. The electricity flickered weakly before it gave out, leaving Gem to give birth by candle light. Lynn came earlier than expected, leaving Gem to suffer through the quick labor and pushing with no form of pain relief or sedative. Heinz was afraid with how violent it was that Gem wasn't going to make it. But she did, much to the old man's relief because he wasn't going to die by Aiden's hand like the dragon had threatened. The she-wolf would have done it all again to see her mate's face as he held his daughter for the first time. To hear the draconic "blessing of the first born" in his native tongue again.
It hadn't been a full week when Lynn had been kidnapped. Gem remembered Aiden's rage. His anguish. His deadly determination when he promised her that they would get her back and the ones that took her wouldn't live to see the sun rise. Years had gone by since that night. But his promise had been fulfilled. Even if the rage and anguish hadn't really gone away.
They would never get those moments back.
Aiden's kiss to her cheek brought her back to the present. Lynn was here now, she thought. And it was never good to dwell on the past. Instead, she thought of today. Of meeting Ventia again and Jareth's sister for the first time. Of getting to know them and Jareth more as part of the family and just being with Lynn. Today, she didn't have to worry about the shadow figure that haunted her dreams or training or border patrol or ... anything. The realization hit her in the face like a cool breeze on a hot day, and she couldn't help the small smile that tugged the corners of her lips up. "Good morning, Jareth. Oh, thank you!" she added at his compliment, tilting her head to the side and her green eyes crinkling at the corners.
Gem wasn't much of a dressy person. Usually jeans and a loose-fitting t-shirt did the trick if she didn't expect any fighting. But today she did try with her appearance. With Autumn just around the corner she opted for a burnt-orange scoop-neck blouse and a pair of boot-cut jeans and tan booties. Her dark blonde hair was teased back into a high pony and her ears sported a pair of small hoops. Her makeup was minimal, knowing just enough to not walk around like a clown. Aiden assured her she didn't look like a pumpkin. Or a harlot.
Gem did actively engage in the small talk, refusing to let the jealousy she felt toward Jareth ruin this day or any other future family days like this. Honestly she did enjoy it a little bit. And when she saw Lynn standing up from her seat on the couch the smile she had on her face grew bigger. "Good morning!"
"Morning, Gem." Gem wasn't going to lie, her heart broke a little bit when Lynn used her name instead of calling her mom. Baby steps, she had to reassure herself, and took comfort in the fact that she returned Gem's hug, arms snug around her middle. "Oh, you guys didn't have to bring us anything!"
"They're just gardenias," Gem said fake-casually, tightening her hug before pulling away to watch Lynn move to the flowers. From the looks of the garden in the front she really did love the flowers and took good care of them.
"They're beautiful," Lynn replied, giving Gem a smile and then turning that same smile to Aiden before giving him a one-armed hug. "Thank you."
