Yeah, definitely agree with the whole Quinn developing it. It's only fair, he came up with the idea.
I also have quite a few character ideas in mind (more like 50, but you know)

Well, for most supernatural creatures, they all have a distinct weakness
Like the fact that fairies, and witches are normally told that the touch of iron burns them to the point that their rendered powerless until the iron is removed
Vampires, incubus, and succubus are all effected by sunlight, wood and holy water
Werewolves and shifters are weakened by silver and wolfsbane (which I know Quinn said that shifters weren't going to be involved)
And I can't think of the rest off the top of my head.

Vampires can be killed by a stake through the heart. I was really getting at the demi gods though.

Witches aren't effected by iron. lol Just throwing that one out there.
At least, I've never heard of one lore story where they are. Witches can generally be effected by different magics. By default though, Witches can be killed like a normal human so to say they need some 'fatal flaw' is a bit ridiculous. They're magickal humans.

Good point, Angus, but maybe the fatal flaw could be something other than a general weakness common to the species. Like for example, my twin characters. Their current flaw - though perhaps not fatal - is that they find it difficult to trust. They'll warm up to people slowly, and they quite obviously warm up to animals easily, as long as they are sure they aren't going to be killed.
I don't have any other good examples

No, that wouldn't work because tying it to species is very limiting. It would go against the free-reign style that Quinn is sort of going for with this site.
I already proposed to him that all flaws be privatized and only known to the admin so they can't be exploited constantly. You would need to naturally find a flaw or a weakness. It's also in my personal belief that someone's entire life hinging on one thing is ridiculously stupid. For instance, you can have a weakness that isn't exactly a WEAKNESS that could get you killed. This will still make a balanced character.
For instance, take Aza. She's probably my strongest non-exception character. She has advanced senses, healing, and something funky going on with her pack link. Her biggest weaknesses? It's what she CAN'T do. She's not good with people. She's not good with taking orders she doesn't like. She's brash, and that's what could possibly get her killed. It's within her very personality and learning how to exploit that in itself is a weakness. She doesn't need something that is at face value a very obvious weakness to be balanced.
I think the fatal flaw thing might be taken a bit too literal while thinking about things for balancing this site and it might make things feel a bit too cartoony. Also, if someone were to find out about a fatal flaw? How quick do you think it would be exploited. Too fast. It would have to be private because no matter what roleplayers have a tendency to use information they know even if their characters don't know it which is a huge challenge with keeping things fair in the end.
