Act 1
The clearing held no sound of birdsong as the woman screamed in pain of birth, her red brilliant hair looked like blood. Spreading across the snow damn from the cold and hot birthing, her head launched back in another scream as her back arched her hips lifting slightly before she bared down curling forward. Her hands gripped onto roots into fists, her youthful look left her to look as if she should be just heading out of her teen years. The clouds above dark making the day all most look as if night blanketed the sky. Another contraction ripped through her causing her blood red lips part as another shuttered scream escaped her. The clouds parted sending a golden stream of light fall to the ground, a man that looked of perfect stood mere seconds after the light touched the ground. Soon wings spread greatly Covering her from the falling snow, his calculating eyes watched her carefully. His golden hair reflecting the heavenly light, " What are you doing in this clearing?" Her eyes watched him fear made her eyes turn slightly sad.
He would kneel when she did not speak him knowing that she was there because that is where he said she could find him. He closed his eyes placing his hand on her stomach. His eyes opened quickly to look at her." Why did you wait till now?" She only stared at him before closing her eyes allowing her unfallen tears spill out. Though he should know the answer to his question he seemed to want to hear it. " You left" She whispered softly before her voice turned to a scream again as he assisted her in pushing. He pulled cloth from the folds of his toga, he would lay it for the baby to have a place to land instead of into the snow of the ground. A few more screams and a wail was accompanied, she laid spent in the snow steam rising from the ground. Her body began to shake from the cold, the baby having its birth left her that way. The tiny screaming stopped once it was cleaned and held in the angel's arms.
She stared up at him seeing the baby close to him as he spoke in a soft whisper, He would move his wings to make a shelter for him and the babe. The woman waited to pass the placenta before she would move from the cold ground inside of his wings. " You left so I thought you wanted nothing to do with the outcome. " He looked at her and shook his head." I am called when I am. I must answer. " He would let her take the child, a girl. His wings would slowly fold back and rest on his back. " I can not stay. " Her eyes looked sad as she watched him step back to the light. " And she may not come with me. Name her. I shall return as soon as I can. " She remained long after he had gone. Her purple eyes flecked with silver watched the spot where he came and went till the child squeaked. She would be startled by her thoughts before she looked down and smiled. " I am no longer of the throne. I hold no riches that are not my own. I denounce the rule and seek my own. " She spoke to her only witness, the sound alive with all animals calling. Giving a warning of what was coming.

The dark room that looked of soot and filth held a single candle light dancing the flame light upon a child's skin. A dark figure stood at the side over a cauldron that seemed to bubble with a dark black mass, the smell wretched. The figure dropped a few silver pieces into the mixture and the mass turned into a deep purple hue and thinned. A voice from it spoke like that of a demon" Come, child." The young girl stepped to the figure before it poured the concoction down her back. The thing that showed her pain was her eyes, her voice did not call out. The figure would take something from the coals beneath the cauldron and place it on her back instantly stamping a tattoo for her wings there. It stung nor looked like a burn.
"Go find your mother" The voice slithered in words. The child ran through the soot-covered mansion. Finding no one other then demons and their familiars, she would retreat outside to look for her. Stepping outside the door the outside was covered in snow, every inch of the land looked as if it was winter. Her gold tinted silver hair bounced around her shoulders dusted with soot and snow she would run barefoot, she breathed the hair puffing in small smoke like stacks from her mouth. Her white dress looked dingy against the pure looking snow. She wandered deeper into the forest until she came to the clearing where she had been born. Her eyes turned up to the sky for the briefest of moments seeing not light she would slowly walk out towards her mother. The woman seemed to not sense her for the moment, making her more cautious. She stopped as the women spoke. " Lilliana, stop" The girl stood frozen waiting.
The woman would turn her face from the sky to look down at the child, her face looked as cold as the surroundings before she smiled warming to her. This seemed to be the cause for the child to come to her, the woman would kneel into the snow letting the child hugged her close for a brief moment. " Your dress is too big for you" She whispered as she moved to adjust it, seeing the new addition only had her pause for a moment before adjusting it. The woman's eyes seemed tired even as a smile tried to reach them. The child did not understand the reason behind the sadness, as far as she knew they had lived her forever. " Mother he calls for us." The woman would that had been gently petting her hair stopped looking down. " Stay, he comes not for me today. Perhaps he will if you remain." The girl would nod before watching her mother walk back the way she had come.
The girl remained long enough for the dark to come, she would only move home once the light had left the forest. She used the light from the mansion to be her guide back, reaching the edge of the forest's edge. See her mother on the front lawn screaming as the figure stood over her pressing the hot iron onto her leaving a burning flesh raw. Lilliana ran to her shoving snow on the burn watching the figure walking away. The burn turned from that to a scar of a seal, her mother shoved her back from her. " Stop helping," She said harshly before eyes focused on her and they turned soft. The girl watched as her mothers head lowered to the snow as sobbing coursed through the air.

The sound of wood smacking together like cracking thunder, the call of the animals sounded like a frenzy of madness as the racket carried on. The woman and her daughter pushed back from each other standing a few steps apart breathing heavy, they held wood shaped like a Katana. The woman moved forward the air around her condensing before becoming as solid as a brick wall around her, the scar on her shoulder was a small swirl of words; but as she had it grew in size. The ability she had used hit the girl head on throwing her back even as she used the ability. The sound of broken bone filled the air briefly, the girl standing once more her left arm hanging the one she used to block her body. The sword fell from it hitting the ground, pulling it off the ground once more with her right she let the arm hang. She made no move other than slinging her arm as it made a snapping sound of remolding, gripping the sword with both she would move to stand like her mother had. Drawing the energy needed to use the ability she had only saw once. She would practice it until she could produce the same strength of a wall. Her mother would rest watching her leaning on a tree. Being able to pick up something from only seeing it once she wished for as a child. Her daughter had a memory that left no error to it, one that memorized everything her brain saw even if she was not aware of it at the time.
It took her only a few hours to master the abilities she was taught, which left her mother seeming happy. Though her herself had no idea why she enjoyed sparring with the woman because of the simple fact it put a smile on her face. Each hour of the day was full of smiles they fought each other in the clearing, where a place once brought only sadness to the woman. But one day of her disappearing for a time she had come back and they started training. Her mother never spoke about what or why this was happening but she did as she bid her and found a result that pleased them both. She wondered how many days would be filled with smiles and training, though as long as her mother smiled she cared not how many days there were.

The sound of screams echoed off buildings and trees, the sound loud each scream full of pain. The cold air wrapped around her naked body that was strapped to the trees by long leather. She hung from her wrists and stretched tightly by her legs stacked to the ground, the sound of a bullwhip cracking splicing into flesh. The scream would follow the sound with each crack of the whip. A cloaked figure breathed heavy clouds of hot hair forming at the hood in the cold air, " girl sign the contract!" A teen girl stood in the cold, her clothing was a soot-stained dress that fit her all most snuggly. She stood before a podium with her hands in chains, when she did not do as she was told the cloaked figure would begin whipping the woman. Another figure would step up next to the soot-covered girl," Open your eyes. You will witness this till you sign!!"
The sounds of her screams became rage-filled, the blood was seeping down around her back pooling at her stomach before it would fall like water droplets. The wounds on her back would not close up from the tainted whip, the draining of the blood had her Royal purple platinum flecked eyes turning a deep crimson. The second figure would hold a vile below the dripping blood filling it before corking the top. Moving off its ragged robes swishing with a tail under it. She would pull on the leather straps hard, the sound of it squeaking soon the lashing would begin again. " Lilliana don't!" The young woman had moved as if to say something. She would lower her head before the demon would move to her, " Sign it." It whispered the sound all most like a growl.
Lilliana's hand would gently grip the practice sword at her side, the demon would look down and then back up. Ripping back its hood half its face was missing along with a long tongue slithering out." Sign! or I rip her open and let her die. " When she had not moved or spoke to the demon, it would turn pulling out a dagger walking over to Kagome. Lilliana would move her hand as if drawing something, a scythe would come to this plane. Looking at it for the briefest of moments, the wings on that were tattooed on her back. They would have a set of feathers seem to be etched as an extension of it. She would let out a warring cry as she sliced up taking the demon in half, the screaming was ear piercing its body turning to burnt ash and bursting apart. The smell of Sulfur thick in the air another feather etched on her back would appear
.
She would move from the wooded area near the mansion of soot, heading around the front to only meet a few more demons. Her breathing was labored as the outer ring of gold in her eyes would seep into the royal color. A silhouette of real wings would appear along her back fanned out, " Speculum finalis retributionis!" (Final retribution!) Five feathers would be etched along her back. It started to look like a wing on each side, the wave of light that spilled from the scythe in a swiping pattern tore into the demons. He would move to the ash like statues that looked as if fired coals ran through the cracked seems, she would push slightly on one till it fell over and burst apart. Kicking the other one letting it do the same, she moved through the mansion and with each demons death came another feather. Her golden eyes became tainted with the crimson bleeding over its brilliant color.
As it looked more and more like wings of an angel the light in the scythe started to die till it broke apart leaving only two spots left for feathers. " Fiat lux! " ( Let there be light!) Her hands stretched out before as the walls of the mansion and air began to become more clear. One more feather appeared on her back as the area was lit up. She would move around looking for those left behind, finding a Soot covered familiar rocking back and forth whispering about spiders. She noted the lack of a Master left the woman a crazy mess, another room held two more. One was trying to peel the skin from herself as the other screamed out her insides being full of snakes. Lilliana would gulp moving past coming to the room where the demon that had planned for this resided. A young woman with hair like white spider webs would look up to her.
Lilliana stopped her hand resting on her practice sword, she watched her wondering if she had lost her mind like the others. The woman would look back at her, her eyes were white as if blind. Lilliana would frown moving closer," I can see you, child." The woman would say softly. " You may never know the kiss of heavens air. Or the love of God." Lilliana had not cared for and those things that her mother had spoken of. She rather remains in hell with her then sit among lies in heaven. " That is nothing I want. " The woman would laugh slightly standing up, moving to the boiling pot of black mass. She would drop something inside and the explosion of purifying light touched every edge of the mansion all the way to the barrier surrounding the place.
When Lilliana opened her eyes the woman was turned to obsidian, when she touched the obsidian it felt warm to the touch. When she removed her hand it crumbled and disappeared into thin air, the room was full of books. Those that glowed with power and those that held a dark whispering, the feathers would disappear one by one until only the chibi wings remain. " I knew that you would be strong enough." Lilliana would turn to see her mother's eyes fully crimson. When her mother approached and touched her cheek, she could see a smile that she had not witnessed her mother show before. It looked all evil. " Your eye's show the hunger." Lilliana would step back before moving to a small mirror on the wall. Once seeing her eyes slowly be taken over by the crimson color, terror struck her the roof would rip open the wood and roof tile froze in mid-air. The angel Gaberial landed his wings would fold watching Kagome and his daughter carefully. He would move to look into her eyes holding her face, Kagome's smile faded slowly seeing her eyes change slowly back to normal.
She had wanted her daughter to reject her father, because of the anger that boiled between her and him. He would smile to his daughter changing her fate in that instant cast his own die. Everything seemed to reverse that had been ripped apart fixing the roof, Kagome would grab her daughters shoulder shoving her back. Getting into the large angel face staring up at him. " You lost the chance to be a thread in her life. You abandoned us." Her voice was cold even as she said the light die around him. His eyes had this pain that said he felt he had done just that because he had to. His reason would never be touched upon. Lilliana would watch her father move past her mother in a burst of speed running for her.
Kagome would turn her face turning into a hissing anger filled scowl, as the light that died around him was reaching its end he reached out far. When he touched his child's face gently the last of his light was given to her, her appearance returned to the youth of her childhood on his knees he looked straight across to her with a smile. Kagome stood behind him her anger slowly fading, a few tears would slip down her cheeks seeing the innocence he had restored to her. Today she would forget, but someday, all that had happened to her would come back.
