I've managed a few sites like this before, but I only have one idea right now.
I call it the "Second Page Rule".
If the roleplay passes the first page, unless specifically stated by the creator, people have to ask to join the roleplay.

Well, I don't have much to say on it as is. lol It seems slightly pointless since the majority of the roleplays are usually specified as closed or open to begin with. However, if there are those who agree, then I see no harm in it. It can prevent unwanted intrusions that interrupt the roleplay, no doubt about that much.
So, anyone else? Yea or nay?

Good idea, but nay. We already have a giid system, and stuff like that would clutter it up.
Good idra, though.

I can't believe I forgot about this XD but anyway, I agree with Dawnstar. Nay, but an interesting concept nonetheless. Inboxes would probably get cluttered as hell lol just from people asking to join a roleplay if it's interesting enough.
Hopefully that makes sense and sounds logical. I've been up for two hours and I'm still tired XD
