(( Azalea only)) Darian missed Eliora much more these days than usual. She was becoming his own personal drug that he didn't think he would ever be able to get enough. He missed her to the point that he was currently sneaking into the Pack's territory just so that he could get a glimpse of her or better, so that he could take her in his arms and tell her how wonderful she really was. He moved through the forest quietly, breathing in the crisp scent of the nearby trees around him and the variety of flowers. He stopped and glanced at the lily's wondering if he should have brought Eliora some flowers beforehand. He probably should have, it was a romantic thing to do but it had slipped his mind in the haste to get to her. Darian smiled stupidity and bended low to pick up a single lily, he wondered if she would like it and then wondered what was her favorite flower when a breeze brought a familar scent towards him, causing him to straighten his spine out very very slowly.

Ryan had seen worse days considering that over on the other side of the territory, there was a blizzard. It only proved the sheer size of the pack land, but then again, it didn't help that said side was bordered by a mountain. Vaguely, he wondered if he should worry about the Alpha Male of the New Dawn getting snowed in. Although the thought was entertaining, he didn't hold onto it for very long. Angus was a stubborn bastard that wouldn't let that happen.
He lit up a cigarette absentmindedly as he walked, not really caring about the patrol. This wasn't a vital area and hadn't been hit by rogues in weeks. It gave him a moment of time to relax. It's why he chose this area. Considering he had seniority, that meant that he automatically got what he wanted. It also helped that he led the entire group and had the right to order any of them dead. Just wouldn't make Angus too happy if he did.
That's when Ryan smelt it, another rogue. He sighed deeply, not particularly thrilled about this. He hoped to escape with minimal bloodshed this time around. So, he turned his direction and began to walk towards the man. The man looked like he would be trouble, but the fact that he was kneeling down to pick a flower didn't make the guy overly intimidating to him. Okay, that was an understatement, the guy didn't intimidate Ryan at all based on that fact alone. If the guy was picking flowers, he clearly wasn't killing pups.
"Hey." He stated bluntly, taking a drag off of the cigarette. "You do know you're trespassing, right? I'm going to have to ask you to leave." He was going to protest. Ryan was expecting him to at least. They always did, because Ryan plainly and obviously smelled like a rogue. Looked like one too.

Darian turned around, the lily still in his hand as he stared at the blonde. They seemed around the same height and build but Darian wasn't too sure. He was only sure that he was a rogue and although that didn't bother him since Darian too was one, but after everything Darian endured with Eliora, he was suspicious. Then he thought he was being foolish and mentally waved the thought away.
"Hey yourself." He stated simply, ignoring what else he said as he took a few steps towards the fallen down tree and sat down, pocketing the lily. No use in throwing it away since he had ever intention of giving it to her. He stared back up at the man, thankful that he wasn't physically making him leave yet. Darian didn't feel like fighting at the moment, he really just wanted to see Eliora.
"I'm not going to start any trouble on these lands...though I don't see how another rogue should be telling me what to do." Darian raised his eyebrow and cocked his head to stare at this rogue. True normally rogues didn't start problems with eachother and if a rogue was planning on doing something problematic on a territory, they would most certainly ask for help or make them leave. This male was telling him to leave though it was clear that Darian had no intention of leaving.

Ryan sighed, leaning against another tree and rolling his eyes at the man's response. That was typical, exactly what he expected. He took another drag on his cigarette, thinking about how Lupita hated him smoking. He didn't really care, everyone had something, right? He hadn't seen her in a while though...It was probably about time he visited.
"You see, there's a problem in that statement. Most people assume that though, so, no worries." He chose to lift his boot and stamp out the cigarette, stashing the remainder into his pocket. "I'm a rogue, yeah, but I also have the right to tell people like you to get out of these lands. I also have the right to be here, on the the many perks of my particular...contract." He shrugged his shoulders.
"You on the other hand? I know you don't, because I know everyone who has taken part in this little deal. Besides, you don't smell like ink. To elaborate, I'm an Outsider. I work for this pack to keep rogues like you, out. So, what do you say we skip the fighting and just get on with our lives? You turn the other way, we both pretend we never saw each other, and hell, I can even skip putting this in my report." He smirked. He hated those damn things.

"There's a problem in people like me assuming that they wont start problems or that claiming that you have no authority to order them around?" Darian playfully added, it was in his nature to tease although he probably shouldn't be teasing this man at the moment. Obviously the male didn't seem threaten by Darian's presence, actually the man just looked plain tired. Not the 'I haven't slept in a few days' tired but more of the 'not again' tired. So Darian didn't feel as though he had to act like a ruthless asshole. It was quite tiring.
"I see." Darian mused, becoming interested in this little contract that the man was talking about. Most men would just leave it at that, not giving Darian any clues as to what this little contract was but not this one. This one hinted at it and made his curiosity deepen. "And what must one do to get this 'particular contract' Mr..." Darian was sick of calling him 'rogue' in his mind at this point. Plus, he enjoyed placing names with faces.
"Of course I'm not in your little contract, if I were you wouldn't even waste your time telling me to piss off. Although I'm not quite sure as to why I would smell like ink if I were." His eyebrows drew together as he thought, the only reasonable conclusions for the ink stuff was that they would tattoo themselves but as to why, who bloody knew. "Well, as much as I would like to hold off on the fighting, which I'm not too fond of it personally, but I wont walk the other way."
"Not to mention, how do I even know you are telling the truth. For all I know you could just be a well informed rogue who's planning something terrible on this Pack and you don't want anyone sniffing around. Hell, this 'particular contract' could just be a lie to get me scared and run away with my tail stuck between my legs."

Ryan actually seemed amused by Darian's comment, smirking at it and shaking his head like the man was ridiculous. That wasn't a bad thing though.
"Typically it's courtesy to give your name before you ask for another's." He laughed lightly. "Ryan, Ryan Knight. You are?" Anyone who lived in the area knew him, but something told him that he didn't particularly 'live' in the area. Ryan was known as part of the local rogue underground, a particularly skilled mercenary and assassin for hire. He priced based on the target that you asked and the cover up, but he was also known for his connections to a particularly mysterious figure who had recently came upon formal power.
Then again, where that was located was all on the otherside of the pack lands, so Ryan doubted there was any meaning there.
He sighed a bit, running a hand through his hair and looking at the man. "Sadly, I can't let you walk further in that direction. If you want proof, I can call the pack's Alpha right now. Angus Cobert. Perhaps you've heard of him? War Criminal, wanted throughout the northern hemisphere, Consortor of demons, Thief of mates, all that bullshit that really isn't true...except the War Criminal part, and consorter of demons, and the fact that he's wanted throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Okay, most of it's true. Nice guy though, but he isn't particularly in the mood for people to piss him off recently."

Darian's lip twitched just before he let out a deep chuckle and clapped his right hand on his thigh at his comment. "Yes, I suppose you're right, Ryan. Name is Darian Douglas Godfrey, probably not as well known as you no doubt." Darian smiled at him even though he was remembering every paper he ever read about Ryan Knight. Darian should have remembered the Hitman automatically just by his looks but it wasn't until he heard his name that jogged his memories.
He hadn't read anything pretty in those papers which were hard to get his fingers on, but then again any rogue who didn't want their business known in papers always had a particular way of making sure of it. True, Darian hadn't heard of him personally or been in contact with anyone who knew him simply because he was always moving around. Matter of fact, he would already be on the road had he not have found Eliora. But he had and Darian knew he couldn't part from her. And that was exactly the reason why Darian wasn't leaving from the well-known assassin because he stood in the way of his mate.
"I've heard of him no doubt. Any sane person wouldn't even be crossing his lands for fear of his own neck." Darian truly didn't want to deal with an Alpha Male right now, all he wanted to do was see Eliora. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair before tying a quick ponytail at the bottom of his nape. "I do believe I just indirectly called myself crazy, quite fitting isn't it?" He smirked before waving a hand. "I doubt you would be lying if you'll willing to go this far, and if you are telling the truth, I also doubt you'll want to deal with him as much as I would."
Darian glanced at the patch of flowers before looking at the path which he knew would eventually lead to Eliora, he grumbled: "Now if only there was a way to walk through these lands without being stopped countless times by your people."

Ryan wasn't remarkable in his looks, so the fact that Darian didn't recognize him wasn't all that uncommon. He looked like most other male rogues. Tall, muscular, and just imposing to any humans but normal to any werewolf that they came across. He attempted to keep his picture out of the way anyway, most wolves did. After all, pictures meant that Hunters could more easily track you if they got a hold of it. The more pictures there were? The more likely that they'd be able to catch you.
Ryan smirked at his response. "Well, good to meet you. It's a rare day when I meet someone that knows the type of person I am and doesn't try to kill me or run away to get more people to kill me.
Ryan couldn't help but laugh at what Darian had to say next. He looked thoroughly amused, particularly at the last part. "Ah, if only there were a way I could avoid him! Sadly, In-laws have a habit of beating your door down if you don't deal with them every so often. If you owe a debt to said In-laws? Well...You're forced to converse with them quite frequently. So, I'm not particularly bothered by dealing with him anymore." He seemed to know from personal experience that an In-law would break his door down.
"However, if you're dead set on getting through, there are a few ways. Bribery works, but if said briber gets caught...? Well, sadly, they get killed. Slowly. You could attempt to kill me, but that makes you a pack problem and all the warriors on the pack land will be on red alert. You won't have the Outsiders on your ass though. Or, you could join us. That's about all you can really do to get through these lands without having my people on your case."

Darian only nodded his head in agreement. "It's tiring, the killing, I mean. I had enough action in my life to the point that I'll hold off any type of violence until it's truly needed. Not that I don't mind getting my hands dirty but boy, it's just tiring now." Darian glanced up at Ryan before breaking into a small teasing smile. "Plus Ryan, why would I risk my life? I'm sure if you wanted to, I could already be twitching in the grave." The only sad thing, was that that was actually a possibility. Darian was good but that's didn't mean he was going to be stupid and take that chance when he finally found his girl.
Plus with Ryan laughing like that, Darian actually felt at ease. The last time a rogue laughed at him was Benjamin, and unlike Ryan, he had felt a disturbance in Benjamin's presence and wanted to kill him. Ryan though? Darian felt like he could sit back and pop open a few Whiskey's and just joke all night. There was no use hiding his facial expressions or acting like a big shot, nah, Darian could just act like himself because it wouldn't do him any good to act differently. If things turned for the worse, his life was literally in Ryan's hands.
His eyes grew as he stared at Ryan, if he was drinking something he would probably have chocked on it because that wasn't on the file. "In law?! Now that's interesting, never knew that Angus Cobert had a sister...or a brother if you go for the other team. Because that's all fine and dandy." Darian grinned, sure there weren't any records on Ryan's sexually preference but he hardly believed that Ryan Knight would be gay. But then again, who knew?
"Bribery? Ha, maybe in a few years but now I'm just taking one day at the time. You can't really get that much money these days only for only information, usually they want that whole package deal of the killing as well. And like I said before, I'm not too fond of that business." He made a face before continuing. "I don't want more rogues on my ass so no to that one as well, though I wouldn't mind a sparring session with you, might be fun even." He grinned with a hint of challenge in his gaze before frowning. "Joining you guys eh?" He mumbled more to himself than Ryan.
If those were his only options by getting into pack lands, to getting to Eliora he had to say that the latter seemed the best. He barely had any real money because bribery didn't come cheap and he intend to spend anything he could part with on Eliora, he didn't want to even try killing Ryan because one, he was dangerous, two he was Angus' fucking brother-in-law and didn't want him on his ass! and three, he didn't know if Eliora would approve. Not to mention, he just didn't want to risk his life on a petty fight. So joining seemed best, though joining what?
"Is joining as easy as you make it out to be Ryan?" He asked curious, he was always too curious for his own good as well.

Ryan nodded in understanding of what Darian was saying. It wasn't like Ryan always enjoyed the work that he did but what else was there for men like them? They were rogues, good at a few things but they generally weren't suited for the world of humans. The human world valued peace, something that they were hypocritical about themselves. There weren't very many occupations in the general population that would allow for them to be what they were to their full potential. What other life was there for them besides one of violence, theft, and risk? Ryan didn't know.
Ryan did get tired sometimes, but he knew that this was how he was destined to live. He would not join a pack to be controlled like a pawn.
"Well, there was a likelihood that you would have been regardless had you been doing anything else. Yet, there's just something that's not very threatening about a rogue picking flowers." Ryan joked, grinning back as Darian. It was true though. Had he been doing something else, Ryan might have attacked him right on the spot despite how much he didn't want to fight today.
Ryan was rather comfortable with the guy, that's why he was being so honest with the options that he could take to get through the land. It wasn't like Ryan thought he was actually going to do any harm to the pack. If he was, he would probably be acting more nervous and suspicious. Hell, most rogues if they were looking to do something, would have been stupid enough to attack him by now.
He couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face when he learned that he was Angus' in-law. In all technicality, he was. Just the type of in-law that no one thought of. The Cousin-in-law. Angus Cobert did not have any known siblings. In fact, when he was born, he was born to a widowed mother who gave birth to three still-borns and one live child. At least, that's what they knew. The majority of the population knew nothing about his family considering he only ever spoke of his adoptive father.
"The two might as well be brother and sister." He purposefully ignored the possibility of being gay. "But nah, Angus doesn't have any siblings. Only child. She's his cousin, Lupita Everett, Beta of the New Dawn even before he became Alpha. A very convoluted family history. You'd have to ask him one of them about that insanity. I try to stay out of it, I don't want to step on the toes of a Cobert or an Everett. Both seem to be crazy as hell, wouldn't change it for a thing." He smiled at the thought of his mate and step-son. It's been a while. He imagined he'd get slapped when he goes to see them for the holidays. Life had just been complex.
Ryan listened to Darian debate the options, smirking. "Paying for information depends on how good it is and who you go to. Angus pays well for information, but he's a special case." He smiled at the idea of a good natured sparring match. That was rare. He was usually being trained on training someone which was more akin to getting an ass kicking than sparring since you didn't know what the fuck you were doing. He didn't verbally answer, because he felt his smile was enough.
"Yeah, joining is simple, benefits are huge, and the job? Simple. Best deal most rogues come across without having to formally join a pack. What turns most people off is the idea of a tattoo, but we have to get them. These tattoos are pretty much the only things keeping us from getting our asses killed by the pack and differentiating us from other wolves in both forms. There are some rules, obviously, but when you get free housing, fed, the freedom to go where ever the fuck you want and do whatever you want as long as you can still do your job and not get in trouble with the local law, it's pretty easy going."

((I know you have a lot of roleplays going on right now, so you can take your time )) "Thank God for me being a romantic. Never knew it would come in handy other than for the ladies. Who knew eh?" Darian playfully winked at Ryan before enjoying a good laugh. "Ah," he ran a hand through his hair, still shaking a little from his laughter. "too bad I probably won't be able to deliver the flower now since I'm caught red-handed." He thought of Eliora again, he hadn't seen her since the Benjamin accident, sure he called and messaged her but hadn't touched her, or kissed her or....that was why he tried coming today. To see her because he couldn't stand being away from her. "That close huh? Well at least he has family." Darian glanced at a spot behind Ryan, trying to picture his family but only horrible memories crept in his sub-conscious. He never had a sibling or a cousin, so didn't know how that felt. But amidst those dark memories there was one light, one woman that was still around as family, his grandmother. And despite everything growing up, he wouldn't change it for the world. "It sounds fun, having a convoluted family and all. Pretty much been on my own since I got kicked out from my grandmothers pack. But even before then, being a only child with no parents...well I assume you know of the bullying and all the stuff little children pull." "Sounds like your girl is one tough cookie." So was mine, he thought afterwards with a soft smile. Then again, most she-wolves were. "The best." He grinned, knowing that by the cocky tone of his voice, Ryan would probably shake his head at him. Matter of fact, Darian shook his own head at himself. "Nah, I'm pretty good. There's always gonna be someone better though you know? Can't help it, but I get the job done. Which gets the money rolling in. The last job pay a pretty penny but most of the time, I'll admit it's hard coming to terms with a client. Your man Angus is sounding better by the minute." He grin died down to a small smile only to widen again at Ryan's own smile. It was a promise then, a small unspoken promise that they would spar soon. As Ryan spoke, Darian listened intensely and weighed out his options. One, he obviously couldn't sneak in anymore, sure he was thankful that security along the pack's borders were strengthening so that no rogues like Benjamin and his goonies could pass by but that canceled out one way of seeing Eliora. Two, Darian wasn't ready to join a Pack yet, everytime he joined in one, they always used him and...well that was another story so that was canceled out as well...joining these Outsiders sounded like too good to be true. "Only a bloody tattoo? Only a bloody tattoo?!" Darian let out a exasperated laugh. "A bloody tattoo?" He repeated still in that unbelieving tone. "Sounds like a bloody dream to me. I get to see Eliora without worrying about my own neck? Sounds like a bloody dream." He was so surprised that he didn't even noticed that he reveled who his mate was, not that he believed Ryan would do anything if he was telling the truth and seeing as how he told him who his mate was? Well Darian wasn't afraid for Eliora's safety. "Bloody hell! If that's all, well then you can count my lucky ass in!"

Ryan laughed lightly, shrugging his shoulders. "You never know. I'm being nice today, I might just let you through this once." He had a feeling that this had to do with a female. The question was who was it? Ryan didn't know. He wasn't completely sure on all the pack politics or who was who or anything. In fact, he had little to no interaction with the pack because as of this moment in time? They were underground. The pack did not know about them, they only knew not to attack any wolf with a sun tattoo.
"Eh, it's his only living family after his adoptive father dropped off the face of the planet and shoved him into the Alpha position. I would say more but it's not my place to say things about the man's life." Ryan sighed slightly, knowing more about his family than what many people did but not as much as Angus knew, obviously. He was rather tight-lipped about it. He didn't like talking about his mother's death or his father, even less about his grandparents.
"I rather like being on my own. My family was shitty. Grew up rogue, always been rogue, and I have no intention on changing. Let me say this much, it's a tough life and it isn't pretty. Prostitute mother, robber father, serial killer brother. Sometimes it's better to not have family." He left out his little sister. The thought was too painful for him to bear and he wasn't that close to this man.
He smiled at the thought of Lupita and how strong she was. "That she is, that she is."
Ryan smirked and he did shake his head at the man's tone. "Getting the job done matters, but if you get the job done in the wrong way...that causes issues. Angus is a good guy though, just made out to be an ass. Just never get in debt with him. He always makes sure people pay up- how do you think the man became as rich as he is?" He laughed lightly. He wouldn't be surprised if Angus had millions the way he throws money around. He doubted it though.
He grinned when Darian seemed unfazed by the tattoo. He didn't seem like the type that would be bothered by it. He was surprised by the idea that he let Eliora's name slip but it was merely solving a curiosity. The Head Healer, he knew that one, just never met her before. "No problem, we'll talk about the rules on the way. Rather simple common sense type shit when you're working with a pack, no killing the members, that type of thing." Ryan motioned him to follow- leading him straight through the pack land.
"So, Eliora, huh?"

Darian stared up at Ryan silently before sadly smiling. "Well that's generous of you, but then again, I doubt she would even want to see me anymore." He thought of the act he had to play with Benjamin and remembered the betrayal...could she ever forgive him? He didn't know and at that moment, he felt like telling Ryan everything. He wanted a second opinion but he held himself back. Even if Ryan was in a good mood, he doubted that he would want to listen to Darian's love problems.
He did however listen to Angus' life and Ryan's, during this time he was quiet and still staring at that spot behind Ryan's head. Dimly he noted that Angus seemed to be a interesting person but it was Ryan that piked his interest. "You really think that huh? I don't know, at least you know who they are...I on the other hand am stuck with wondering. For me, I think it would hurt less if I knew." Darian didn't care about admitting his pain, most men thought it to be unmanly and being weak, but Darian knew that the true strength was admitting something, and that was why he felt no shame in admitting his 'weakness.'
"Ah, I knew you would shake that head of yours!" Darian slapped a hand on his thigh and laughed. "You're absoutely right, what's the point in getting something done only to be messy? Shouldn't have wasted your time, that's what I think. If someone's gonna do something, then they better do it correctly." He grin at the idea of Angus, even though soon a grimace soon followed. "I'll take your word for that, I just finished paying some very old debts, I hardly believe I can manage anymore." He shook himself, "that friend of yours sounds like he's in the right state of mind. I would like to get to know some of his tricks, I could use some money."
Darian got up and stretched, curing his back and hearing some well needed cracks. "Sometimes I feel like a old dog." Darian commented before following him. He still coudlnt believe that it was this simple. This easy. A few more steps, some rules and a tattoo were the only things that stood in the way between him and Eliora. "It really sounds way to easy Ry."
He paused momentarily at Eliora's name before remembering that he let it slipped. He couldn't help the smile from taking control of his face and he nodded. "Yeah. She's perfect." He thought of his feisty Eliora and despite everything, smiled. He didn't care about her past, he would never judge her. They had such a long way to go, still needed to know each other in so many levels and despite all this, Darian already knew that he could never let go of her.
"We had a little tumble with a psychopath but I intend to get rid of him." Darian nearly growled thinking of Benjamin and he knew that he will soon have his blood on his hands. "Quietly of course," he gave a knowing smirk towards Ryan before laughing.

Ryan nodded dully at the comment Darian made, unsure of how to respond. It was simply one of those things that a man had to deal with himself in his mind. There was nothing for him to do about it, there was nothing for him to say. He wasn't the best with long term relationships. He usually hooked up with women for a short bit. He may adore Lupita but she was his first long term relationship and he hasn't exactly been the best mate in the world.
"Or it could hurt more." Ryan stated calmly, shrugging his shoulders. "Families usually just cause pain. More people to die, more people to kill over them, more debts to pay, more of hell to walk through. Most importantly? They're people with something tied to you. People that you can never get rid of, even after death- if you know them. If you got dealt the wrong hand, well...you'll be struggling for the entire game." Ryan frowned a bit, his eyes glazing over as he stared a hole into the ground.
"I'd rather forget all that pain." He looked back up smirking. "Damn, you've gotten me wanting a drink."
Ryan smiled at Darian's comments, listening quietly. He could understand the debt ordeal, and that was painfully why he was leading the Outsiders. "Eh, good news is that if you get yourself in debt with him, you can pay it off with work and he's not a bad boss. Why do you think I'm leading this raggedy band of rogues into what is suppose to be a military force?" Ryan grinned, holding his hands out and shrugging. "I guess that's what you get for shooting the guy with a silver bullet."
Ryan laughed lightly. "Apparently doing some crazy shit like investing in rogue businesses works. The businesses set up shop, rogues caught wind that they were friendly to werewolves and the entire area that he invested in got ran over by rogues within five years. You won't find a human in town for more than 2 months." Ryan said that honestly. He had lived in that town for three years and knew it pretty well, he just knew that no one really stayed for long and people weren't really friendly if they did.
Ryan walked calmly, his hands in his pockets as the man spoke. He kept up a steady and easy pace through the trees. It reminded him of Lupita's father. He had only heard about him through researching Lupita and her family but it was still...not pretty.
"Psychopaths tend to be in abundance these days." He stated begrudgingly, seemingly also having personal experience with it.
"I'll explain the rules once we get deeper into pack lands."
