((In due light of the situation, I'm going to give a little bit of background information. This is two years after the Rogue Orfeo situation ends. Since we never officially agreed on how Abraham gets to where he does, I'm going to have him taken directly from the street, but he got in quite a few blows on his abductors. If you have arguments, just tell me and I'll gladly change it. Azalea Decoii Orfeo only.)) "You have been invited," Adé read in his French Canadian accent, "to the house of Alder." He flipped the invitation over, looking for a last name. "There's no last name." He flipped it over again, looking at the words. "But he does list an address, and asks for you both by name. I don't like the sounds of it. I'm coming with you." ((Bleh. Time skip.)) "Are they coming?" Someone asked. "Shut the fuck up," another voice responded, looking at the peep hole in the door. The two of them were just standing on the outside, waiting. He looked away when they headed toward the door, practice swinging his bat a few times. He pressed his finger to his lips, and the other guy did the same. By the look on his face, he was a bit slow. There was a knock at the door. Neither man moved. Adé waited a second before knocking again. He had walked up onto the porch and stood beside the door before Decoii and Angus had decided to come up themselves. He knocked again, waiting. No answer. This time, he opened the door, which was unlocked. He let Angus and Decoii go through the door first. As soon as the two crossed the threshold, there was a blinding moment of movement and pain as aluminum baseball bats struck their knees. "There's a third!" The slow-looking one yelled, only seconds before Adé's fist landed squarely on his jaw. The man crumpled, a dazed expression on his face. "Shit," the other man said when Adé looked at him. "Help here!" Adé charged the man, only to be caught by his wrists in shackles. He lost his balance and fell, and without his arms to catch him, he fell to the ground and hit face first. He felt the blood well up in his nose, figuring it was probably broke now. Then he felt the tip of a boot bury itself in his temple, and it was lights out. When Adé came to, he wasn't entirely sure where he was. It was a small white room, and it was brightly lit with florescent lighting. Angus and Decoii were on either side of him, bags on their heads and silver chains holding their arms above them. He was in a similar situation. Chains holding his hands above his head, on his knees. The only difference was that his head wasn't bagged. He felt the cold barrel of a gun pressed against his head, and saw that Decoii and Angus had one pointing at them as well. "Take the bags off," a rather short man said, taking a drink of Pepsi before sitting it on the table. Then men holding the guns obliged, pulling the sacks off of the heads, then pressing the guns against their heads. The man took a step forward, watching Adé through his black sunglasses. His hair was a shaggy mass of black, and his skin was fair. There was no other distinguishing things about this man, even his clothes. They were run of the mill clothing, that you would see on any man his age. "We're missing one," the man said, looking at the gunman behind Adé. "They had...difficulties. He didn't go down without a fight, it seems," the gunman said. They both turned when a lock clicked and two men walked in, carrying a limp man between two men. A third collapsed as soon as he entered the room, his body riddled with bullet wounds. The men threw the limp body down on the ground, shackling him in a similar manner as everyone else, removing his bag and pressing a gun against his head. The short man walked over to him, looking at him. "How many are left?" "We're the last two out of the group," one said, his voice hoarse. "Twenty men, and he killed eighteen. of them." He had a bullet wound through his shoulder and various other wounds. His legs were trembling, barely supporting the weight of his own body. The other man was in no better of a shape. "They were good men, Alder," he said, taking Alder's silence as a bad thing. "Good doesn't save them. They're no use now that they're dead." Alder growled, pulling a gun from his waistband. He fired off two rounds, dropping the two men behind the man that was just brought in. Blood seeped through wounds right between their eyes, and Alder turned as if their deaths meant nothing to him. He handed his gun to the woman. "Put this against his head. Make sure that if he moves, you put a bullet through his skull." He turned around, facing his guests and took another sip of his Pepsi. "Angus Cobert, Decoii, Adéwalé Scott, and Abraham Lugo, welcome to my lovely home," he said, setting his Pepsi on the table. He leaned back, watching his guests. "Three of you are here for a reason. The other is an intruder. Normally, I would kill you, but you could be of some use, Scott."

Angus didn't like this the moment that he got the card, but he still came. It was the same feeling as normal, an on anxiety type feeling that pushed him forward rather than back. Then, upon arriving, he felt worse. Decoii was with him, and as they stood back, waiting for Adé to get into position, there was something very visibly wrong with Angus. He was twitchy.
Angus was never twitchy.
The reaction was caused by a single thing, the smell of demons. Not many shifters were overly acquainted with the smell. So, he doubted that Decoii or Adé would realize the sudden scent of a more powerful one. Most of the lower level demons couldn't keep their stench under control. The power houses could though, and the scent was faint. Almost sweet. There was blood as well, the smell of ash that was very distinctive to Vampires. This place wasn't a good place to be, but he stayed silent.
In hindsight, he should have told them what the place was- a damn nest, a hive that was filled with creatures that killed for the pleasure of it. Yet he didn't. He took the chance and entered the home. He went down first. Now, he was somewhere, gods know where, with a bag on his head. He had heard some chatter while he had the bag there, but it wasn't anything useful. He just sat there with his arm pinned back and such.
There wasn't much to be done. These guys could likely blast them to hell and back, and hell wasn't a place that he wanted to visit just yet. So, he remained silent until the bag was pulled and he could see. His first reaction was to cringe from the brightness of the unexpected light, and the second was to look for Decoii. She was located on the otherside of Adé but not too far away. He was exactly happy about that, but there was little to be done. Especially once the cold metal hit his forehead and made him look forward.
He watched as Orfeo was dragged in and chained up. The woman wordlessly taking the gun and pressing it to his forehead with a grin. She was clearly a vampire, but something was very, very off about her as a vampire.
That's when he remembered some vampire myths. According to those he had spoken too, Vampires were the link between humanity and demons- just like Witches were the link between fae and humanity. The first of the vampires were made from a human dealing and trading blood with a demon. The first were always the strongest but the race itself was created as they spread their DNA, siring more vampires from that specific line. That's what ended up getting Vampires enslaved, from what Angus knew. She didn't smell like other vampires, she was closer to demonic and the way she stood, the air about her. It set off alarms in his head.
She was one of the first. Either that, or a demon had decided he or she wanted a pet. Something told him that said demon was Alder, the same man that gave her the gun.
"Care to explain the hostility? I'm not exactly a fan of being beat and bagged when I was invited somewhere. I'm not exactly a fan of demons, but I'm willing to hear them out most of the time."

Decoii didn't think much of the card, honestly. Angus got one, she got one. It was odd, yes, but she didn't think it was shady because the two of them had been invited. Plus Ade was coming and he was basically a power house of scary that did nothing but make Decoii feel like a midget... Yeah.
Regardless, she did notice one thing that was making her feel odd about the whole situation. Angus. He was being twitchy and more silent then normal and that didn't rest well with her. She knew he wasn't a twitchy persona and she knew that when he got a certain feeling, she'd have to go along with it because he was usually right about all these things. She learned that a while ago.
Regardless, she didn't say anything about the situation or asked Angus why he was being odd. She kept it to herself and just told herself to be alert about everything. But getting hit in the knee as soon as she stepped in the place was not on her list of bad possibilities.
Decoii was aware of things. Demons, vampires, fea's, witches. She was aware of it all but she was never interested in any of it. Being too deep in werewolf politics gave her a headache she couldn't begin to deal with anything else. Angus knew a lot about it, so did Talon, so did... Everyone really, but she just didn't care.
So she didn't smell the demon, she didn't notice the vampire. She would have noticed it if it was brought to her attention but other then that? She wouldn't have picked up on the things Angus would have.
Groaning, she opened her eyes and glared at the person that was holding a gun to her head before turning her attention to the side to look at Angus. Automatically she wanted to punch the person holding the gun to his head so she just glared at him before looking over at the Pepsi drinking dick in the room. "Someone's on their period..."

Orfeo's entire week had been shit and vomit mixed in a dirty food bowl. What had happened next was of no exception, only that this time his temper had been cut so low that the lightest instigation would have made him blow open in a mass of pure rage and hatred. He should have know that something was horribly wrong when the street that just the day before had been busy with traffic was suddenly deserted. It was when he got to a four way intersection crossing one of the roads when four vans surrounded him from all all sides, men pouring out of the back like bees out of their nest, holding weapons and demanding him to go with them.
He had not liked this one bit. He easily counted twenty. Against one. Just the tone with which they were talking to him with made him blow over. Taking both pistols from his side holsters, he aimed and shot two of them in the head, then two more, and two more in less than a few seconds. With six down, and the confusion following suit, Orfeo got behind one of the now abandoned vans to take cover for the ensuing shootout.
He lost track of how much time had passed, how many bullets he had fired, or how many guns he had discarded because the ammo ran out. He was already gritting his teeth in pain with a few bullet grazes across his side and head. Out of the corner of his eye one man charged at him through the middle of the street. He got up and mercilessly began to unload round after round into his body until the weapon clicked empty continuously. He was so distracted though that he didn't notice one of the men go up behind him and hit him hard in the back of the head. The pain was sharp and direct, sending his body crashing into a heap on the blood soaked tarmac.
Orfeo only came to once the bag was taking off from his head. The light was blinding for a few minutes, immediately waking him fully although in a fashion he quite did not enjoy. He moved his hands a little, felt them shackled, then let out a very low and irritated sigh as he felt the cold barrel of a gun pressed against his temple. "A la puta mierda. You have got to be fucking with me."
He took in the scents, getting some of the people that had attacked him. He then looked at the man who addressed them, the other names that he had said not processing through his head as he looked at the man with a frown on his head. "You know it's hardly fair. Twenty against one isn't much of an even fight." He clenched his teeth as he felt a deep and painful throbbing near the back of his head. "True most of them are now dead.... But still.. Come on."
Orfeo's eyes looked around the room, which was suddenly when he got in the three other people. One of them he wasn't sure he knew. The other two... "Mierda..." He cussed lowly in Spanish as he looked at Angus, then Decoii, then Angus, then Decoii again. Out of all people, he had definitely not wanted to see either of those two for a very very long time. At least he was expecting to meet them at gun point, his gun to their head, preferably as they bled out.

"Most of them? I do believe you murdered them all," Alder said, "trust me, kid. I can get you you screwed quickly. All I have to do is turn you in for causing that chaos out there, telling the cops that you murdered twenty men out of cold blood, and you'd be on death row in seconds. Or better yet, in the Demon and Fae prison underneath Alcatraz."
"As for the hostility," he looked at Angus, "because warm welcomes are boring."
He then flicked his head toward Orfeo. "Not to mention, from what I heard on this one, he wouldn't cooperate with me willingly."
Adé tried listening to this guy named Alder, but it was getting hard to focus. The silver of the chains were getting to him. He had went limp shortly after he finished talking to Alder, his vision already getting blurry. He barely felt the gun pressed against his head, he honestly barely felt anything.
And then, the memories.
He felt the sharp sting of a whip as it tore open his back. They weren't his memories, but they were real to him. They were the memories that his great grandmother and grandmother had taught him. They attempted to make him hate white people, but he just didn't have it in him. They had done nothing to him.
But still, the memories got to him.
He tensed, clinching his fists. His arms and back swelled as he strained against the chains, pulling them straight down. He could hardly see, but he had to get free. He pulled harder, feeling not the chains give, but the wall itself cracking.
Alder took notice of Adé's struggle, figuring this was a good show of the elephant's strength. The walls were rebar cinder block walls, so they would be no easy feat breaking. He heard the safety of the gun that the gunman behind Adé was holding click. Alder figured that if the elephant was stupid enough to break the wall, he was stupid enough to get shot.
Adé pulled harder, feeling the cinder blocks finally give. They tumbled down and crashed behind the gunman, but Adé refused to move, covering his eyes. He was in a position much like he was bowing, but didn't get up from it. He was trying to shift, but the silver was stopping him. That's when the gun went off.
Adé went limp again when the bullet found home in his shoulder. He wasn't dead and he knew it, but the silver burned. Now he couldn't see at all, and now he had a bullet buried in his right shoulder. "You're fucking stupid, elephant," Alder said. "And if any of you think that you can get away with a warning like that, you can't. Poor Adé just used up your last warning. I have no more mercy to spare."
He walked up to Angus, crouching down to look him in the eyes, bringing his Pepsi with him and taking a sip. "I hear you have connections to a gang known as the Sins. I plan on taking them down. I figured that I might as well bring someone with similar goals."
He walked over to Decoii, making sure to step on Adé's hand as he passed. "You're his mate. If he fails, you die. It's motivation." He gave her a sarcastic smile, taking a drink of his Pepsi.
And finally, he walked over to Orfeo, crouching and looking into his eyes. "And you, you're a determined little fuck. Good with a gun, as well. Especially if you took down my men. You may be a bit crazy, but I could use an extra gun to replace the twenty that you killed. The two you didn't, their blood is still on your hands." He stood, taking the last drink of his Pepsi and groaning when it was gone. "You're all going to help me bring down the Sins, whether you like it or not. If you con't comply, I won't hesitate to kill you. Hence the chains and guns."

Angus leaned back, feeling the gun still press harshly against his head. He took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. Yeah, this guy definitely wasn't someone he would want to go out and have a few drinks with. If anything, he was just like the rest of his kind. Cruel and looked at shifters as little play toys. That was most demons, at least the fae treated a shifter like the threats they were.
Or rather, the threats they could be.
Shifters were too blind to the truth to really be much of a threat at the moment. They didn't see the information, nor the world around them. Rogues did, sometimes but that wasn't always the case. They simply had more chance to see it than a pack. Fae and Demon alike tend to avoid packs like the plague. They were very self-centered and focused on their own goals and highly territorial. As far as Angus knew, his pack was one of the few that was actually trying to help the advancement of the race as a whole.
"You know what is interesting? Giving someone a fighting chance. Never know what's gonna a happen. Poor house could have been burnt down by now."
There was a snort from the female. "You think about burning down my house and I'll be sure to prevent you from thinking at all. I may have money, but damn, not nearly enough to keep paying for all these fucking houses. Or cars. Or paying off the police. Calix has been charging me out the ass recently." The final comment was more directed toward Alder than Angus, but Angus couldn't help but bring his eyebrows together. Calix? He knew the name. He was some big shot Chief of Police, no where near here. He had heard the name from Candy when she was talking to one of her other 'business partners.'
"Where the hell are you guys from? Calix, as in Calix Bernard? His district isn't anywhere near here."
The woman ignored him, looking to Orfeo with this look of amusement on her lips. "Trust me dude, you've gotten off damn lucky. He's got plans. The first time he had plans for me, shit got much crazier than this will. Just sit back, relax, and quit bellyaching. You'll thank us later. Or more specifically, him." She nodded her head toward Alder.
Angus looked over at Adé, his eyes widening as he began to struggle. "Adé, what are you doing? Calm down!" He tried to tell him to calm himself without any luck. He wasn't stupid, breaking free would only cause more trouble than it was worth. He cringed when the gun went off, and he couldn't help but watch as he laid limp there. It wasn't a killing wound, but that shit had to hurt.
Then, Alder turned to him and got right in his face. Angus resisted his urge to spit at him for that disgusting display as he shot his childhood friend. That right there was enough to piss him off. Then, he did the one thing that he didn't expect- he brought up the Sins. The concept of bringing them down. It was intriguing, and a captivating thought.
The Sins, as a pack, was long gone. However, the Demons that had used the shifter leaders as hosts were not. They still lived and they still haunted people. They still made their contracts to control people. They still made deals with the weak for power. Getting rid of them would tie up so much of his loose ends, that it would be unbelievable. Those demons were likely the most active in making formal deals with the human and shifter populations that in the entire country. It was a horrible option.
He stayed silent though, waiting for him to finish. A growl ripped through his throat when he threatened Decoii but he didn't struggle against the chains that held him there. Decoii wasn't his mate, but he treated her like it and he'd be damned to hell if he let that happen. Guess that means he couldn't fail.
"Ooo, feisty. You were Wrath's pet, right? I guess you kinda have to be to grab his attention."
"You're one sick fuck. There's no reason to bring Decoii into this, I would have worked with you without this bullshit. I obviously worked with the Sins for 7 years, just like all their other contracts. Out of all their contracts, I'm one of three that got out of them. I'm the only one still living out of that group. Of course I want the fucker's gone." He glared over at the woman. "Yeah, I was Wrath's. Yeah, I use to have a temper. I don't give two fucks about that shit right now. Hell, I probably would have fucking attacked by now but here's the difference between me and Wrath: I am not a dumbass. I have the gun pointed to my head, I'm not going into some blind ass rage. So, back it off, Demon-sucker."
The woman looked taken aback by the name but then she burst out laughing. "Wow. You're smart, I'll give ya that. Damn, Demon-sucker." She laughed again. "I guess that's accurate. Most Vamps die from demon blood."

Leave it up to Decoii to not notice most of the people in the room. She knew she came into this mess with Angus and that was the first person she looked for. But once she heard Orfeo talk, her attention darted over to him and she groaned softly. He held on to a grudge for too long and she honestly didn't want to be in this situation with someone like him, he'll probably help her and Angus get killed.
Decoii didn't know what the hell she'd gotten herself into. She didn't. So she knelt silently, watching everyone in the room and picking up on their odd character. If she was alive, she was alive for a reason. That was the way she saw this situation and she wasn't going to add fuel to the fire, nor was she going to argue with the people holding a gun to her head. She was going to play the role of silence and just stay shut the hell up.
The idea worked pretty well. Orfeo could fight his own battles and as much as she hated the thought, Angus could fight his own battles as well. She wasn't about to play stupid and bring any attention to herself that could in turn shift and cause more shit for Angus.
Of course, this whole silence idea worked until Ade started struggling. She heard Angus trying to calm him down, "Stop, Ade!" She added, knowing it wasn't going to be of use because he didn't seem like stopping anytime soon.
But when he was shot and Alder stated that they had no warnings now, a permanent angry glare took hold of her features. If it was just her, Decoii would be trying to get free, she wouldn't have been as successful as Ade but she would have tried. Still, in a situation that involved more then just herself and a person she loved... She wasn't going to pull an Ade and fuck things up for the rest of them.
She growled softly when Alder stepped on Ade's hand. "Do you really have to be such a fucking dick!?" She asked him, turning her face to look at him. Honestly, the guy was making her want to pull out her own hair. Still when he claimed that she was motivation for Angus not to fail, her angry glare was gone and she found herself laughing.
"Lovely, just... Lovely." She mumbled giving him a look that clearly said she wasn't amused with the situation.
Decoii did know about the sins and once that line of conversation came up she knew that she was probably just there to be used against Angus and that was absolutely pissing her the fuck off. She wasn't going to be used to force Angus into anything, she just needed a way to tell Angus not to worry about her. Not that it would help. Angus was as stubborn as Orfeo held grudges.

"I wouldn't fucking consider it lucky if I have to be in the same room with la puta y el pendejo." Orfeo was listening to everything that everyone else was saying and honestly he didn't give two shits on a nickle for anything, not for someone being a demon and not for someone being a vampire or whatever the hell they were. All he did was groan softly at the words that the man was saying, the irritation only building up further and further. "I killed your men because they aimed guns at me. An eye for an eye. And plus, maybe some of them would still be alive had they been better trained. Sloppy work they did, you should be ashamed."
His eyes darted up to the woman. He was ignoring what the unknown chained man was doing. The less he had to worry about the better, because that's how he worked. Keep it simple, keep it painful for anyone else, try and make sure that their deaths were long and horrible. "Listen, you think because you have me chained up and with a gun pointed at my head I'm going to work for you?" He laughed softly as he began to address the man again. "Threats of death mean nothing to me, tiny man. In fact, if you want me to 'help' you, then you are going to have to give me something in return. Or please just put me on fucking death row or send me to the prison under Alcatraz. Something."
It was either balls, stupidity, or a little bit of both, but Orfeo wasn't going about to take shit from a stranger who held him hostage. "And then you come along and tell me that I have to work with him?" He nudged his head towards Angus and shook his head before raising his voice so he could make sure that everyone in the room could listen in. "First chance I get I'm putting a bullet to the back of his and her head. Just letting you all know."
He turned his head to look at the woman next to him, the gun now pressed firmly against his forehead. The pain from the hit was still throbbing badly towards the back of his skull but he pushed his thoughts to something else as he smiled. "Trust me puta. I have nothing to relax about." He turned his head again to look at everyone in the room, specifically this time at Decoii with a look that screamed that she was dead. "Besides, sitting back is a bit hard considering the position you assholes decided to place me. A chair would have been nice."

"No, I don't have to be a dick," Alder said, glaring at the girl. "I choose to be one." He smiled at the remark, looking at the woman. She wasn't his type, but he quietly wondered if he could scare the hell out of her. He was a demon, after all, and she didn't seem to want to believe in this kind of stuff. It would be a simple matter.
That's when the door clicked again, and in trotted a pitbull, wearing a matching set of sunglasses as Alder. It wasn't too hard to figure out that it was his dog. Alder looked at the dog. He had a soft spot for the thing, but it came in at embarrassing moments doing embarrassing things. "Fluffy, now's not the time," he said to the dog. It grumbled and jumped up on the table, facing the hostages, looking Angus dead in the eyes and growling lowly before resting it's head on it's paws.
"I don't think that you understand how an eye for an eye works," Alder said, crouching down to stare right at Orfeo. "If I was to gouge out your eye, I would get my eye gouged out. If I were to kill you, I would be killed myself. But...I don't think anyone would miss you if you were put into an early grave." The fact that the kid was willing to mouth off to him impressed him. He didn't get that often...only from Nikki. Sometimes he wanted to strangle the woman. "However, you wouldn't be working for him, you would be working for me. You see, the area around the Sins has recently lost their leader, and I'm in need of a new one. How does $500,000 a year sound? And to top it off, due to the location, I would be willing to give you access to drug trade. You would get a 15% cut of the trades. All of the money untaxed, of course. Sounds like a deal you couldn't refuse, does it? But it gets better." He smiled. "You look like a man that appreciates power. You would get a crew of 35 men, plus whoever else you recruit. Training depends on the leader of the gang. Obviously, the men you killed weren't mine, just the followers of a shitty leader. He was about to be killed, anyway, so you spared me the labor of doing that." He smiled. Orfeo had pretty much fallen into his hands, even unknowingly.
"I have a complex system. None of the grunt work falls on my back, or even my second-in-command's. She's also the only person I've bothered training, anyway. She's not my creation, but a small bit of my blood does go a long way." He hadn't told her that- but it didn't matter. "And don't call me tiny man. I've been alive since before history itself was being wrote. I have many forms, human, and this is my most recent. I don't get to choose what I look like, but it usually fits my needs."
He finally decided that it was time to piss off the woman even more. He stood and walked over, crouching and getting right in her face, He put two fingers under her chin and lifted her head, forcing her to look into his eyes. "You don't seem to understand the importance of the role as insurance," he said, reaching up with his other hand and taking his sunglasses off. His eyes were dark red, with black occasionally breaking the surface. "He dies, you die. He gets discovered, you die. He breathes word that I'm behind this, you die. Basically, one fuck up, and it's your pretty little head. It'll make a lovely lawn ornament." He held her gaze for a few seconds, his face only hair's width away from hers, then dropped her head.
"You all are going to help me bring down those bastards. Angus, you're the biggest of my pawns. You're going back. Abraham, you're lucky. You're nothing more than a gun for this mission, but if you're good enough, we'll see about letting you join. Decoii...you're insurance." This was the closest thing to kindness that they were going to get from him. "Adé, when he wakes up will be just another gun."
Adé groaned, as if in response to his name, but didn't move otherwise.

Angus glared at Alder when he spoke to Decoii. Of course he chose to be an asshole.
"You sure about that, demon? I'm petty sure it's a trait of the species." Angus snorted, rolling his eyes. "Ya know, sorta like how shifters are considered blind volatile beasts? Yeah, it's like that."
Angus looked at the animal, blinking at the sight of the dog with sunglasses. He wasn't sure if it was demeaning or just ridiculous. A quick sniff to the air revealed something off about the thing, and he was quickly staring at it wide eyed like it was some sort of freak accident about to happen. That was sure as hell no fucking dog, and Angus could tell that by the smell of it. It wasn't natural.
"What the hell is that thing? It doesn't smell natural. And who the hell names a pitbull fluffy?!" That was about the time that it started growling at him. As a result, he growled right back at it. He wasn't afraid of it. Even if it wasn't natural. It may be a pit bull, but he was the pit bull of the wolves- the Dire Wolf. There was no way in hell that he was going to let something like that growl at him without a response, even if he was chained up. There was no threat behind either growl though, more of just an expression of mutual distaste.
Nikki looked over at Angus like he was a mad man. Was he seriously growling back at a damn dog? She lifted her eyebrow and looked back over to Alder. She knew the difference between the animal and a normal dog, but the man was insane. He didn't know for sure what it was, and he was growling back at it? What was up with him, did he seriously think he was some sort of dog?! Then she stopped and remembered that Angus wasn't particularly a normal shifter. None of the shifters in this room were. Angus was much more attuned to his animal than any other shifter could hope to be, over course he reacted like that.
"Dude, you're growling at a dog. You're looking like a mad man."
"Back off. You know what it is, don't play dumb. I might not know, but it's not a fucking dog. The thing probably knows exactly what we're saying."
Nikki shut her mouth and just smiled as the man had a stare down with an animal. She shook her head before turning back to the man she had a gun pointed to. "Ohh, someone's got a bit of a grudge, I see. Grudges are nice, I've held a few. I will say that it won't get you anywhere on this job but a quick grave." She glanced to Angus who was now glaring in Orfeo's direction. Then, she heard what Orfeo had to say.
((I apologize for the powerplay. Kinda hard not to considering the situation.))
The cold metal of the gun was quickly ripped away from his skull, just for a mere moment and another gun shot rang throughout the room. She had shot it into his shoulder and before he could even blink, the gun was back to his head and she was crouching down in front of him. There was no exaggeration, it was literally before he would have been able to squeeze his eyes shut. That was all it took to make him realize that these guys were levels above what he was used to dealing with. Many levels above it.
"Oh, look, you actually don't have anything to relax about. Not anymore at least. Then again, that's your fault, isn't it?" She was eye to eye with him, giving him a smirk as she pressed the pistol tighter against his head. "You made the mistake of insulting me after all. You see, we're recruiting you, whether you actually like it or not. I just so happen to be one of the mother-fuckers you have to listen to if you want that pretty pay check, or your life. But seeing as your life doesn't matter to you, I won't bother with it." She laughed lightly.
Using her other hand, she took a hold of Orfeo's face so tightly it would have felt like she was going to shatter her jaw just in that simple grip. He wouldn't be able to speak because of how she held it, down and open. There was a look of pure malice in her eyes. He had pressed one of her buttons, and putting it in a different language didn't change a damn thing about it.
Nikki wasn't an ugly woman, but she certainly looked like she wasn't in the mood for shit. She had long dark brown hair that fell in layers around her face. Her eyes were the color of old, dried blood. The smell of her wasn't any better than death itself but it was kept fairly faint. She proudly carried bags underneath her eyes but they were easily worked into the messy look that she had going on. She wore make up but a lot of it was truly those darkened eye sockets that she worked into it. She stood rather tall for a woman, likely nearing 5'11". If looks could kill, Orfeo would have been dead right then and there- but Nikki knew her place. Unlike this fool.
"I'll bother with your pretty little daughter's. Or how about that girl, what's her name, Gail? Yes, Gail. Hm, I wonder how much fun my personal little gang will have with them. Last I checked, your daughter didn't have much experience with demons. I'm sure they'll have plenty of fun with her." She laughed in his face, shaking her head. "Poor Gail though, already so deranged. I wonder how much I could really fuck with her head. Before I kill her at least. I'll love smearing her blood across the walls. Don't think I'll forget you either. I'll make everything Worlien did look like a goddamn joke if you dare to insult me again, do you fucking understand me?
"We've done our research and we know every little thing about you. Your contacts, your family, your history. But none of that matters, because we're giving you something that most wouldn't pass up. A chance. And I'll tell you this, boy, I don't like dealing with cocky mother-fucking assholes who think that they can talk shit before they've even begun to prove themselves. You're in the big leagues kid, all of you are, simply by meeting us. You weren't even ranked before. So, start sucking up your damn pride before it gets you in some shit that you don't want to be in.
"As for the odd shifter over there? You're not going to touch him, or his girl. Not yet. After this goddamn job's done, I don't give a shit what you do to them, but I'm protecting the interests of two bosses here and I'll be damned if you screw with either one of their plans." She shoved him back and stood up again. "If you wanna doubt me, I'll be sure to send you video of it. Now listen to Alder or you'll fucking get shot again. This time, I'll go for your damn nuts."
Angus looked at the scene with Nikki and Orfeo, blinking wildly. Once that was over though, his eyes shifted back to Alder and he started freaking out.
"What?! Hell no, you're sending me fucking back there?! What the hell does that even accomplish?!" He was now struggling on the chains but it was obvious that he had no hope of getting loose like Adé had.

Decoii hadn't seen Orfeo since the day she shot him in the forest. A part of her still felt guilty for that moment but she knew that she wouldn't have done it any other way. Hell, she didn't even shoot him for a good reason. Cockiness, exasperation, and the need to just prove a point. That was the last time she really saw him and that's what made her feel a certain type of way. Before Angus came into the pack, he was the only person she would try to open up. Granted, the first and only time she did he ended up shot but still.
After that, she got caught up with her own problems. Getting knocked up by Angus, having the shifting problems, getting locked up in a cage... Well, the list just went on and on and if it wasn't for Angus, she wouldn't know what had happened to him. About the lab and Gail. She would have been clueless and in a way she felt like she needed to make it up to him even though he wasn't a part of the pack anymore.
Of course, this line of thinking completely changed once he opened his mouth and ruined her mood. Per usual.
With a sigh, she turned towards him and glared. "Seriously? Why are you insulting us when we aren't the ones doing this shit? As a matter of fact, we haven't done shit to you so you need to pipe the fuck down, get your panties out of a twist, and stop acting like a goddamn idiotic child, Orfeo." She hadn't meant to snap, but his damn attitude was pissing her off. Hell, this whole situation was pissing her the fuck off.
Growling she turned her attention towards Alder. "Oh, excuse me. Maybe you're not a dick but you're certainly a natural smartass." Just as easy as she had made up her mind to stay silent, she decided that she couldn't stay silent. Having Orfeo here and having him insult her and Angus really added fuel to the small fire that was building up.
Decoii opened up her mouth to insult Alder, even though she knew she probably shouldn't but the moment that first word was about to come in the dog walked in. Blinking, she turned her attention towards it. A dog. With Glasses. Named 'Fluffy'. Before Decoii even knew what she was doing, she was laughing. The sight was just so... Odd and any fear factor that she'd gotten from Alder quickly died right then and there.
Rolling her eyes and turning her attention towards Angus, she wanted to tell him to not buy into any of this. they would be okay. Sure, Alder was... He was speaking crazy on a walking stick but still. It was all just too much. Almost stereotypical in a way.
Decoii rolled her shoulders as she looked at Ade. Shouldn't she be talking all of this seriously? Maybe she should. Demons... Well, it wasn't her forte at all.
Decoii closed her eyes, relaxing. They weren't getting anywhere anytime soon, honestly and she wasn't going to continue instigating the situation. But once the gun went off, she jumped back up to attention. Startled and in shock at what was happening to Orfeo. It was so unexpected that she couldn't even blink. She opened her mouth to shout at Nikki but closed it quickly before turning her attention towards Angus and opening her mouth to tell him to calm down. But no words would go on.
Before she could try again, her attention shifted towards Alder and she stared into his eyes, her own teal eyes slightly wider then normal and finally his words sank into the pit of her stomach and she felt like she was going to drown. These people... They were actually insane. they had an insane idea, which turned into an insane plan that was being insanely executed.
They brought four people to help and already shot two.
Decoii finally blinked and settled down again. An ugly heavy feeling settling into her gut.

"You'd be doing a hell of a ton of favors for a hell of a ton of people if you killed me right here right now. But considering the offer you just made me? I doubt that's going to happen, eh huevon?" He shook his head softly, not being able to believe what he was hearing. Though still, the offer was a pretty juicy one. "And life must have really decided to fuck you over if it gave you the body of a tiny man. So really, tiny man suits you." Orfeo knew he was pushing way beyond boundaries. But that's what he did. Take dumb ass risks because his disregard for his own life as well as those of other people was incredibly huge.
Orfeo turned to look at Decoii as a small smirk made his lips. "Oh excuuuse me Ms. High Fucking Mighty with my shitty insults and lack of social stigma. Look at you so mighty fucking powerful. Bitch. If anyone has to get panties out of a fucking twist it's you. And you know what? While you are at it you can go ahead, take the bitch ass attitude of a cunt that you have, and shove it deep inside your ass. It never got you anywhere and it isn't about to get you anywhere now. Pinche puta pendeja."
Before Orfeo could continue though, he felt the sting of a bullet against his shoulder, felt the pain of having his jaw gripped so tightly. He ignored her though, because he was now completely infuriated. With every single person in the room. The anger was clearly evident with his now yellow eyes with a burning fire inside of them. "You missed my head you fucking bitch... " Orfeo turned to look at her right in the eyes. "Go ahead and shoot me in the nuts, cabrona hija de la gran puta! Why don't you just go right on ahead and shoot me in the legs too! Huh! And great fucking research you did. What did it take? A night at the bar and fucking a couple of guys? It wouldn't fucking surprise me como la fucking pendeja puta que tu eres! I'm already in shit I don't want to be in! So go ahead and put me in deeper shit! I don't give a fuck!"
Orfeo's eyes now turned to Decoii. All the pain coming from his shoulder was being completely blocked out at this point. "Hey bitch. Like I was telling you before that whore interrupted the conversation. I don't give a single fuck if you're pissed off. I don't give a fuck because that's all you ever are. A pissed of cunt who doesn't know how to express her fucking emotions. You. Are a fucking child. Grow up!" A deep and hateful glare was directed at her direction. If she replied, he would reply back. He had a hell of a lot to talk about the constipated woman.
Orfeo then looked at Alder. His voice was more calmed now, mostly because he was letting it all out on Decoii and the whore next to him, but it could easily be told he was pissed. "I'm a gun? Set me loose, give me a fucking gun and point me in the right direction, asshole."

"I did tell you that my body changes for the needs of the current world, correct? As the world changes, so do I," Alder said, black smoke beginning to swirl around his feet. "However, the word isn't as cruel to just stick me with a form. I can change how I look, how I operate," the smoke engulfed him, dissipating once it reach the top of his head. In the stead of the short man that once stood there, there was now a sickly looking man, built like a tank.
Light brown hair fell in a greasy mop down his head and onto his shoulders, and his eyes were a pale grey. Muscles bulged and tore at the clothing that he was wearing, which hadn't changed. His hands were calloused and burned from years of metal work. Overall? He wasn't too pretty to look at, but he was much larger than the other Alder. "This isn't even my biggest form, but the one that popped into my head," his voice was deeper and more raspy than before, like he had spent years smoking like a freight train. "This is also only a fraction of my power. Want to know why I don't do the grunt work?" A smile crossed the smith's cracked lips. "Because every I do, people die. A lot of people. Especially when I reach out to make an offer like this."
He didn't say a word regarding the arguments. None of them involved him. Fluffy, however, growled when Angus told her that she wasn't a dog. In response, she started flicking her head back and forth, growling and grunting as the flesh pulled back to expose another head. Unlike the brown and white pitbull head, this one had a head more like a rottweiler, but where there would normally be brown, it was replaced with a dark red. The same color as dried blood.
When the two headed dog heard Decoii laugh, it stood up and hopped off the table trotting toward her. When she was only a few inches away, both heads pulled back their lips to show their teeth and unleashed an unearthly growl.
"Be careful, she's the alpha female here. She plans on taking Angus as her pet. She'll keep you so you can spawn more pets. And when you're spent, she'll eat you." The dog barked and snapped at the comment that Alder made.
"I damn will kill whoever in the fuck I like," Alder said to Orfeo, "you included. Guns come in handy, asshole, and you know how to use one. Therefore, I made you that offer. If you don't want it, I'll go ahead and blow your fucking head off." He scoffed when Orfeo made the giving him a gun promise. "I may like people who share common goals as I, but I'm not fucking stupid. Giving you a gun now would result in you killing poor little fucking Angus here."
A soft buzzing sounded from Alder's pocket.
Rolling his eyes, he pulled it out and checked the caller ID. He sighed, answering his phone and turning his back on the hostages. Fluffy, however, began to prowl around and sniff at the hostages.
"Mmm," Alder said, glaring at the wall. "And you're saying that you can't handle it. Normally, I would dispatch another gang to help with it." The wolves would hear a quivering voice on the other side of the phone, but not be able to make out the words. "Right. Obliterated. I'll be right there."
He threw his phone against the wall when he hung up, growling. The phone hit the wall, shattering into a rainbow of glass and color. "Looks like it's your lucky fucking day, dickweeds," he growled staring at Nikki. "Henry's squad is in the middle of a gunfight with a bunch of fucking rage demons. They discovered a hive. Looks like we have another opening."
"Remove the god damn chains, let them out, but they're coming with me." He growled, flinging open the door to the interrogation room.
"What about the elephant?" One of the gunman asked, cringing as soon as the words passed his lips.
"I don't fucking care," he said, turning and glaring at the gunman who had questioned him. "Don't ask questions, fucktard," he said, his eyes narrowing.
And with that, the gunman popped like a balloon. Blood smeared the walls, coated Adé, soaked Nikki, and probably covered the hostages as well. Fluffy happily began lapping up the blood, her nub wiggling.
Without questions, the gunmen unlatched their chains, and took Adé out of the room, carrying him by the arms. They were probably taking him somewhere to get healed, but at this point, Alder didn't care.
He huffed again, walking into the basement, turning back to his original form, and grabbing spare clothes from the room and changing. He grabbed a key, and opened a locker, and ones beside it. Inside were all the guns you could think of.
Seriously. They ranged from handguns to rocket launchers and flame throwers.
He grabbed an M4 Carbine, slinging it over his shoulder. "Are you coming or not, assholes? This is going to be lots of fun."

Angus just stared at Alder, his struggles stopping as he watched the transformation. He didn't want to think about the abilities that he likely had. The man that stood before him just was another display of where his power was at. Was no one comprehending what was going on?
Demons were creatures of varied power levels. They had a hierarchy that was violent and cruel. Grant it, they weren't always malicious creatures that were sitting in front of them. These definitely were though, and Angus had no desire to deal with such creatures it was something that he never relished. Still, Orfeo was over there being the insane fucking dumbass that he was and then there was Decoii snapping at them. Angus wasn't doing much better in this situation either. Clearly they were outnumbered, outgunned, and outpowered.
He calmed himself down, until he saw the dog change. His eyes bugged out of his head as he stared at it. He attempted to push himself as far as possible away from it. That was a hell hound, a demonic dog. Something told him that this wasn't even nearly as big as the thing could get. It was likely huge behind this little facade. He wasn't buying into it, not at all. When it growled at him, he simply stared at it.
"Pet...?" Angus asked, looking to Alder. "I'm not-" He shut up automatically. He was at a disadvantage and he knew it. He took a deep breath and looked at the dog again. That thing could eat him right now if it chose. Best not to piss it off because it clearly understood what they were saying. He didn't continue that sentence at all.
Nikki glared at Orfeo, she wanted to shoot him again. In fact, she wanted to load him with bullets. Still, he had done as she said and listened to Alder. "I would tell you to kiss your baby girl goodbye, but you're too fucking low down to have even met her. You can't even protect your girl. You piece of shit. Good luck seeing her again." She was about to walk out, not bothering with the asshole. She would kill his girl, video tape it, and dangle her body over his head. Might force him to eat it.
She stopped when she heard Alder's phone ring. She paused at the door and looked back at him, listening to the conversation that was going on through the phone.
Nikki looked at Alder, lifting an eyebrow with a smirk on her lips. "Rage demons? So, Calhoun's men? Well, if that asshole can't handle them, we better damn well have an opening." She crossed her arms. She looked down at her now soaked body, laughing at the sight of it and licking her fingers.
Nikki allowed Alder to go through first, but just as she was about to follow, she thought better of it. She paused, looked back over to Angus. He was on his knees still, rubbing his wrists and looking over at Decoii. He then glared at Orfeo, seemingly daring him to do something. Then, Nikki was there, grabbing him by the wrist.
"Come on, demon-tamer. We're going to have a nice little chat." Angus stumbled as she yanked him to his feet, using a ton of strength that she didn't need for the motion. If he didn't move, she would have dragged him across the ground.
Before anyone could do anything, she had dragged him into a room that was just off from the interrogation room. The door shut behind him. The conversation that happened there was hushed, largely because Nikki didn't want anyone to hear but it confused Angus more than anything. He didn't understand what she meant, it was like she was speaking in another language. Then again, maybe she was? There was no telling if she was or not.
No one in the other room would hear what was said. Yet, there was one thing that they would hear. That was a scream, masculine and loud. It was short, painful, and cut off in a way. Then, there was a thud against the door. If anyone tried it, it was locked.

Decoii had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep herself from openly screaming at Orfeo. She had to remember to not turn on him even though he was openly turning on her. Did it matter, really? Ade was out, Angus was here but she was to far from him to be able to actually communicate something and she lacked the ability to mind link. Decoii had never wanted to mind link so badly in her whole life.
She also regretted all those times where she either heard Quinn or Angus talking about other supernatural species and she never paid any attention to them. If they got out of this one alive, she'd definitely start paying more attention but with how things were going... She wasn't so sure anymore.
In order to keep herself from screaming and arguing with Orfeo, she rolled her eyes and turned her attention to Alder, watching as he shifted with a look of pure shock on her face. "Th-that's oddly disturbing." She mumbled softly before she heard Angus mention the dog. With a grin, she turned her attention to him. "You're right that's not a dog. That look's like a cart-" She froze mid-sentence as she noticed the dog growing a second head and if her stomach wasn't empty, she would have thrown up then and there.
Then the thing moved towards her and when it growled, Decoii tried her best to push herself back and move away from the damn thing. It wasn't out of fear but pure disgust ad she couldn't hide it. It was rolling off of her in waves. She didn't want to be anywhere near the damn thing.
"No." Decoii stated, holding herself up straighter as she shot Alder a glare.
There was no way in hell, that this damn abomination was going to get anywhere near Angus. "You're not getting anywhere near him, you hear me?" She hissed at the dog, glaring at the disgusting thing. "Not even over my dead body." She added with a growl.
The situation was turning from mildly frustrating to damn right disgusting in seconds. Decoii couldn't dismiss that anymore. She couldn't dismiss Alder either.
Honestly, her attention stayed on the dog-thing. She wished she'd eaten something before getting herself in this situation, so she could puke in the damn things face. She was so absorbed with it, that she didn't even notice Alder getting the phone call.
Hell, she didn't notice anything else until she was being unchained.
The first thing she did was turn her attention to Angus. "H-hey are you- Wait, what are you doing!?" She asked Nikki, stumbling as she stood up but by that point, Nikki had already taken him away.
"Angus!" She yelled, running towards the door and trying to get it open without success.
Then she heard the scream and she froze completely. But once she heard the thud, she started freaking out. "Angus! Angus!" She didn't care if she couldn't break the door down no matter how hard she hit it. She still kept punching at the damn thing and screaming out Angus' name.
