((If this posted weird, I'm blaming the whacked out version of this site. If something weird happens, can you change it, Azalea? After all, you're zealous about neatness and organization.))
((Azalea only))
Quinn sat beside his daughter. He was in Angus' house, in one of his rooms, but he wasn't sure which one. Angus lived in a house that was much too large for Quinn's liking, but that didn't matter. What mattered was that he knew that this was a safe place.
Lily hadn't moved for the past week. Ever since Azalea accidentally bit her, she hadn't moved. Her breaths came in short, shaky spurts, but it was better than nothing.
Quinn had nothing against Azalea for what she did, though. She acted on instinct, like any other wolf would have. He knew that it was just an accident...but somewhere deep down, he knew that if Lily died, he would hate that girl for the rest of his life. He would try to ignore it and try to push it away, but in the end, he didn't think he would succeed.
Lily took a breath.
Quinn looked at her before looking away again. He had denied the help of Suki. He didn't know if it was because he felt that Lily would be stronger if she did this on her own, or if it was because Suki didn't know the first thing about elf anatomy. He knew that the humans didn't.
He had been sitting here for what...a week now? Two weeks, maybe? Time seemed to pass differently when you didn't have any indications of time, but he knew that it had been a long time. The only queues he had was that Angus sometimes came in with Suki to check on Lily. Quinn knew how to check for a pulse, and he had shown Suki how to do it. It was a bit different than checking the pulse on a human, so he wasn't surprised to have to show her how to do that.
After that, he had taken a seat and not stood since. He had sat there, just watching Lily, figuring that if she died, Moon may hate him for it.
