((I feel that it is my responsibility to write the death of Lupita and Gang. Since I oh so made myself look like an idiot. Open, guys.))
Jewel and McKinley were in the infirmary when the earth-shattering boom happened. The easy conversation between mother and daughter stopped suddenly by way of them jumping out of their skins.
"Mom," McKinley asked. "What was that? Did Angus decide to have a fireworks bananza and not invite us?"
Jewel shook her head hesitantly. "I don't think so." She stood up from her desk and grabbed her keys. "Let's go find out what that was."
As they walked outside, McKinly and Jewel started to feel worried with every step they took. Soon, they were speed-walking to the front doors.
Before McKinley burst through the door, she stopped. Jewel bumped into her and looked at what MK was seeing.
A column of smoke rising up in the distance. The pair was starting to get really freaked out by then, because that was the general direction of the Everett household.
Needless to say, they bolted for Jewel's pick-up parked outside.
The infirmary was not close to the house at all, but if they could here the boom, then the betted everyone else would have, as well.

Angus and Suki were the first out of the infirmary. They had been in the lobby when it happened, discussing some issues that had arrived with Aza's routine testing. That's when they heard the boom. The smoke was the first indication that something was wrong, but Angus wasn't processing what exactly was wrong. He wasn't processing what was in that direction, nor was he processing what could have happened. No, his mind was centered around the idea of something bad happening on the pack lands. He couldn't help but think that there was some rogue issue with that gang that Lupita had around and it finally boiled over with the Outsiders.
Suki's main thought was injuries. She was a lazy healer, and explosions meant injuries. Injuries meant time away from research, her daughter, and her research subject. That meant that she would have to do something that she didn't want to do, and that wasn't okay by Suki's standard but she was willing to do it and get it over with as quickly as possible.
So, the moment that she saw it, she was finish the keys to her camaro out of her pocket and she was motioning for Angus to follow. Knowing that his truck wouldn't be fast enough in the long run, Angus was in her car within moments and they were literally speeding down the street to get to the location. It was no where near the infirmary- in fact, the location was half-way across the pack lands considering the fact that the infirmary was nearly exactly in the middle of the pack lands. It was a decent drive, naturally, but Suki was taking it fast and dangerous- just like the majority of things that she did.
Truth be told, Angus was actually shocked at the distance. When they arrived first, he was even more shocked at the sight of where they'd ended up.

The house was in flames by the time Jewel and McKinley arrived. Shattered glass laid haphazzardly in the grass. All Jewel could process was the angry reds, oranges, and grays taking up her sight through the pick-up's window.
She didn't notice Suki and Angus as shock propelled through her(Was that the house that was on fire?). And then denial (No! It couldn't be!). And then she realized the direness of the situation when McKinley started to hyperventilate.
In her haste to get out of the truck, Jewel -- who forgot that the doors were locked -- tugged harshly at the handle. When she finally figured that you had to unlock the doors in order to get out, she stepped out slowly, as if testing the water of a seemingly calm pond. And then, when the smoke started to get to her, all she could think was that by the furosity of the fire, there was no way that anyone could survive this.
Jewel started to cough aggressively, looking around her in hopes of finding something to put it out. But all she saw was Angus and Suki.
Lifting her shirt up to try to protect herself from the smoke, she started to cry.

Lupita had sent the gang away a few weeks ago to a city two towns over. Riley was still here and so were a few people who didn't do any jobs. Lupita smiled at her little toddler daughter. Selena could say a good few words and she walked, but she wasn't very fast.
Lupita heard a rustle, a movement in the wind and it set her on edge. Lupita put Lena down and went over to the window, slightly peering out the corner of the window. Lupita saw slight movement and it worried her that some one was out there but then she had to remember to put her faith in the outsiders doing a good job.
Lupita turned back to her daughter, but then she heard movement outside again and it worried her. She had been on edge lately, so much so that she brought Westly home for the afternoon along with Will and Riley. Lupita hoped that Jewel and MK would be home soon.
"Something's off." Lupita told them as they were all in the living room and then she heard a yell, a few choice curse words and then a smash as a bottle of alcohol was thrown through the window with a lit cloth in it. It was quickly followed by another. They both smashed on the floor and quickly the fire spread. Lupita gasped as she looked to her son and family.
"William get your sister and go out the back with Westly. Keep her safe." Lupita told her son and he nodded to her as he grabbed his sister. Lupita tried to stop the fire, but then came a stomach sinking scream from her little girl and Lupita ran to the back door to see more fire bombs thrown through the window. Lupita looked out the broken windows and her stomach dropped when she saw her scared and sick father. Lupita pulled put the gun from the holster in her side and shot at him but she could barely see past the fire that was starting to spread.
Lupita turned to her son and noticed he had dropped his sister and Selena was crying as the fire started to move. Lupita saw no way out of this, the fire bombs had been thrown through the ground floor windows or at least most of them and the kitchen was about to blow. Lupita knew of only one place that they could go.
"Riley! Westly! Get Will and get into the basement. Hide under the stairs, I'll get Lena!" Lupita yelled and she watched as Riley and Westly grabbed her son, who had been slightly hurt from a bomb, and dragged him down the stairs. Lupita ran over to her screaming and crying daughter. She picked her up, clutched her close to her and cover her with the cardigan she had on. Lupita turned to get in to the basement when the cooker blew up from the heat and Lupita covered her daughter's ears, but hers started ringing.
Lupita felt disoriented and dizzy but she had to make it down the stairs with her daughter. Lupita stumbled to the door and placed her daughter to the floor.
"Lena, go down to daddy. Go to daddy, darling." Lupita told her daughter and Lena sniffled before nodding and sliding down the stairs on her butt before running into Riley's arms. Lupita pulled the door, but kept getting licked by the fire. Lupita was so glad she had this air tight, very strong door installed for when she wolfed out badly. Lupita managed to shut the door with a slam but her arms were burnt. Lupita swayed a little on her feet from the blast and she closed her eyes for a moment. Then she felt herself sway backwards and before she could grab on to the railing, she fell backward down the stairs. The last thing Lu remembered was hitting her head for the fourth time but this time hard enough to feel warmth then blackness.
William yelled as his mum fell down the stairs and tried to get over to her but Westly got there first. It was only then that Will saw that Westly had burns on his arm, legs and the side of his face, all the right side. He'd used his left to carry Will and shield him from the blast. Or at least one of them.
Westly checked Lu's pulse and she was still alive, she was still breathing but she had a nasty head wound and was burnt. Westly grabbed some washing from down here and covered her head, which seeped it in blood. Westly picked Lu up into his arms and rested her head on his lap. He sat next to Will and Riley who had a hold of Selena. They all hid under the stairs knowing that some one defiantly heard the blast.
"Mum wake up, please wake up." William begged as his mother continued to stay passed out. He hoped someone would come soon.
