"No, sir," she said truthfully this time. The 'sir' was completely out of habit; her parents had made sure that she was very polite. "But I can sleep in the clothes I brought. It's no big deal." She's slept in jeans before – depending in the temperature of the room and the thickness of the comforter, it's actually comfortable.
This thought process made her wonder where she was going to sleep. And then her train of thought completely stopped when told that she was not going to die. A slight blush rose to her cheeks. After her brain started up again, she thought that maybe Crevan wasn't so bad after all.
She wanted to come with him. It wasn't so much the fact that he said he would buy her things as she wanted to explore. Sarah knew that adventure should be the last thing on her mind, when her wish got her here as a servant. "Thank you," she said instead of voicing her wishes, for fear of being rejected.
Oh, how she hated rejection.
Since she was still looking away from him she didn't realize that he was undressing until she heard the sound of his boots thudding on the ground. Slowly, she took a glance up at him, saw his bare chest, felt her cheeks ignite in a painful fire-y red, then looked down again.
She wasn't told otherwise what that ring on his finger – his wife's seal – wasn't a wedding band. So Sarah was so embarrassed that not only did she enjoy the glimpse that she saw, but he was undressing in front of her.
This vampire culture is toooooootally different than human culture. For starters the vampires had servants.
"You think?" she asked, her fingernails now clean.

Crevan would smile seeing her cheeks turn a bright red, it only relaxed him further the smell she was permitting to fill the air. " Yes I think Anya did something to make you stand out to him. If you are a witch then it should not of taken him so long to pick you out of a crowd. Even if only a half breed. Less my brother is going feeble in his old age" This only produced a laugh from him at the thought. He would watch her," You are not wearing jeans to bed. Go get one of my shirts it should be long enough for you. " He would pull the covers up over him as he settled in further to be comfortable. " And tomorrow we get you some more cloths proper for a lady to match the ones you got today. Those other close can be stock piled away for another day. No need for them here. You would stand out more then you do now. " The mix of smells she had coming off her had him raising a brow, less fear more a embarrassed mix with a upset tang.
He watched her carefully wondering where she would choose to sleep or if she might follow his suggestion. He had yet given her a order and he wondered if she knew the difference, it was like a test to see how she would be. He had high expectations but he was not as strict as his brother when it came to how things looked to people on the outside. Though he had never needed a reason to being alone, with her gone and not having the chance to show her off. Well he had not a reason to put up appearances with a slave or servant, he had never had one.
The sound outside of his tent of soldiers walking by talking were muffled, The sound only became louder till it stopped. A soldier would come into the tent seeing the General in bed already he would set a few letters on the table before doing the royal salute before heading back out of the tent. Crevan seemed tired but annoyed at the prospect of something more to do, he would then relax again refusing to get up and get the papers. He thought he would deal with it later.

With a nod of her head and a soft, "Okay," she stood up and walked over to the armoire. It was there that she carefully took her pin out before laying it down on her clothes with a gentle hand. The thought of standing out made her cringe. And knowing that she already was sticking out like a sore thumb had her biting her sore cheek, then letting go with a jerk because of the tenderness of it.
She looked at his clothes studiously, the suggestion going over her head. (It was a good thing it did, too; instead of blushing she might have paled, her freckles being the only color to her face.) Quickly she took the closest and topmost shirt from the pile and unfolded it. One glance at it made her confident that it was going to cover everything of hers. She was small-ish in stature, standing at about five feet and six inches. Crevan was a lot bigger than that. She was sure that his shirt will go at least to her lower thighs.
With the shirt draped over her arm, and smartly staying silent at the soldier came in and laid the letters down, she waited until the man was gone before asking hesitantly, "Where can I change? And where do I sleep?"

Crevan would smile once more hearing her ask a question. " I do believeyou have the option of here or out side where my men can see you" He said softly a little humor in his voice. He would sit up before covering his eyes with his hand. " I can Cover my eyes, see?" He chuckled at the humor of it. He had lived a long time and the notion of a woman still being embarrassed about being naked in front of a man never lost its humor. He tapped his fingers on his leg, before peaking." Or you can go into the room with the table and close the Curtain and change. If being in the same room is to much. " He would look around a little. " There is the option of the floor the chair i had been sitting in, or in the bed with me. "
He was not one to beat around the bush, she had many choices in which she could dress or sleep. Some might suit her or some may not, he for now was not going to make that choice for her. Though he enjoyed the hunt, he did not like it the same way his brother did. Quick and violent was never his game, if he had time he would take his time and stalk the prey. He was more like his father was, more of wanting the prey to come to him. And until she was marked she was for every one, truly not his. This was something he could handle, he figured he could go with out for longer having gone this far.
But something called to him and said that she was important but as of yet he did not know what it was that did so. He would lay back again pulling the covers up further, his eyes lazily opening and closing the smile never fading from him.

Sarah wasn't going outside to change. Like Crevan said there were his men out there. And she didn't feel like changing in a more public part of Crevan's tent. Did he not see one of his men waltz on in here without so much as making his presence known? He's crazy. C-R-A-Z-Y.
The notion of him covering his eyes made her feel better. But if only slightly. Slightly. She still stood there, unsure of what to do. She couldn't sleep in the dress that she just got a few hours before hand. Pursing her lips, she finally made her decision. Because she had to trust this man not to look at her. And even if she could sleep in the dress she didn't want to.
She turned her back on the bed. With shaky fingers she reached behind her and fumbled around for the laces of the corseted bodice. Without a mirror to guide her it was hard. But she refused to ask for help. "I'll sleep on the floor," she answered him quickly, her lips becoming a thin line. There was no way she would be able to sleep in the same bed if she couldn't change into night clothes in front of him.
By the time she said that she was fed up with her shaky fingers and light breathing. She tossed his shirt down onto the chair before she tugged at the laces. And she kept tugging until she finally felt her chest heave outward. She hadn't realized that her lungs had been fighting for breath until now. A much deserved intake of oxygen later, and she tried shimmying out of the dress with the corset not all the way loose.
She wished Anya was here.
Eventually she did make it, any attempt that Crevan would have made to help her was deflected with, "I got it" or "It's all right". Before she worked on her boots she snatched up the sleep shirt and threw it over her head. And without letting it to settle she unlaced her boots and took off her stockings. Despite her shakiness she was quick in putting the dress over the chair gently and putting the boots in the armoire with everything else.
In succession after that she sat, laid down on her back, and turned on her side. She used her arm as a pillow and brought her knees to her chest.

He watched her fumble with the dress trying to take it off as he opened mouth to say something she deflected him and he raised a brow. " But.." A second time he took the hint and let her be, her movements were faster after loosening the dress enough to wiggle out of it and put the shirt on one motion that he would chuckle lightly. " Suit your self. " He said turning on his side closing his eyes. He was not going to comfort her when she sought to sleep on the floor, the seat he had been sitting in was large enough for her frame at the edge of the bed and had many pillows on it.
He would not mention that either again, she had made her choice; he very well knew she would not sleep next to him. Which was more then a good thing, he was thirsty and refusing himself to drink for years made him potent on the battle field. Drinking blood wine was different then actually feeding from some one, which sated a deep instinct inside of his people. Turning down the lamp in the room would make it darker but the light in the other room did keep it bright enough to see around. He would close his eyes not taking another thought to any thing. Finding rest was easily then he had in months for some odd reason.
~*~
Anya would open her eyes to see her master had fallen sleep in his chair, this she found to not be good. As a servant and pet she sought it to send him to bed, using her tome she would transport him to the large bedroom that he shared with his wife. Him hovering above the bed she would pull sheets back lowering him down, before covering him. Armel would step out of the shadows with a smile, " hey" He whispered motioning for her to follow him, she would walk into the adjoining room. He sat already seeming to drink from a hot drink, the room was lite up all over by some glowing orbs. " I wonder how your friend is doing. " Anya would blush about to open her mouth to ask how he knew but she closed it quickly. Likely from Killian she thought.
He would smile blowing on the steaming drink before he would sip gently on it. " I am surprised you did not ask for her to stay with you for a bit. " She would glare at him the only one she seemed to have the courage to. " Damien would of said no. " She said softly, she would move to the dressing shade as she started to unlace her corset with her thumb starting from the middle working her way out as she held her hair out of the way.
" You are trying to provoke anger from me that you know I do not have. " She whispered and he would chuckle standing up. " Yes the wisp of a woman that needs a strong hand. You are pathetic and useless Anya. " She would stop moving her hands letting his words sink in. She would smile taking her dress off hanging it up before taking her slip off and stockings and boots she had laced up. She would then pull a night shirt from the clothing rack.
" I am?" She said as she came out of the dressing area running into him that would cause her to start to shaking. He would laugh at her abrupt fear which turned into annoyance. " Yes you pretend to not be afraid of me but you are. " She would ignore him walking around him heading for her sleeping area. " I ask that you leave so that I may sleep. Master has things for me to do tomorrow" She didn't even glance back as he moved towards her even though her spine tingled with fear.
Hearing the door shut she waited a few paces away from her bred to hear if he was breathing in the room. Hearing only silence she would bring her hands up to her cheeks feeling wet blotches on her toes. Her cheeks were covered in tears, she didn't understand his hate for her and or why she cared. Crawling into bed she would cover her self up over her head to hide from a shame that she had no clue that she had.
