"Uh-hu!!" Rose said, a mock of a glare written clearly on her face. "Don't you start that shit with me!" She snapped, raising her hand up in what could only be known as a threat to hit him. Despite her current bout of trying to be hostile, she really couldn't help but grin and laugh right alongside him. After all, he'd be able to keep up with her mixed signals and the bipolar behavior that their relationship held came from him almost as much as it came from her.
It honestly was mostly his fault, honestly.
It was odd, how attached she'd grown to Reaver over these last couple of months and if anyone knew her- they'd know that Reaver wasn't exactly her type of partner. He played alongside with the law, that was potentially the biggest factor that would hinder the growth of any possible relationship between the two of them. Rose didn't play well with the law and as soon as she found out what Reaver was doing and what his goal was, she felt a pit in the center of her stomach that only seemed to grow as time passed.
But was it selfish of her to want one more day with him? He'd been an asshole when they first laid eyes on each other but as time passed he proved to be different. It wasn't that he wasn't as set on his goal as she had thought he would be- because he was. Hs intentions remained as pure and honest as they had been from the very first day that she met him. It was more so, that he was unpredictable. The kindest and cruelest person she'd ever met wrapped in one lovely testosterone filled bundle of yumminess.
"Don't you dare start that shit- Again! You're as guilty as I am for that one night and you're only lucky that no one cought us or you'd be dead!" She let out a small growl and rolled her eyes. "It's always my fault when it benefits you, huh? My fault that I was the one who ended up being fucked from behind on a dance floor! My fault that I ended up on your bed and my fault that you ended up inside of me the next day, right?" She rolled her eyes and wiggled the bathroom door.
Seriously, Rose was going to strangle him. "Innocent little Reaver fell victim to mean ol' me. Boo-hoo! Cry me a river and as for your leg? You're lucky that I don't figure out how to use a gun and shoot you myself! You're so- ugh! Frustrating. Making a girl horny and angry in the same sentence!" She huffed and turned towards the bathroom, walking into ot and slamming the door behind her. "I have something important to do Reaver, you have five minutes to get in here or I swear when I get back I'm tying you to the bed and you'll be giving the term 'blue balls' a whole new meaning."

His grin only grew wider the louder Rose became, and he had to stop himself from talking to her as loud as she was to him by distracting himself with the yoghurt. He backed himself up tightly against the wall, almost laughing, yet every so often glancing up at her with a look of ulterior intentions. His lip he bit at softly, thinking quietly as he watched Rose storm off towards the bathroom, and nodded with a wide smile on his face as he took in his finally spoonful of the delicious yoghurt he had come to love. "Five minutes?!" He joked, well aware that he was now treading on hollow ground. "Might as well have me shoot myself," he mumbled, though a grin ever so slowly appaeared on his face as he made his way to the bathroom.
By the time he got there, he had thrown his shirt on his bed, opened the door and stood there, staring at her for a solid minute. Then, without a word, he moved in closer, and closed the door behind himself.
"Nummy nummy sandwiches, oh yeah, nummy sandwhiches, oh yeah yeah yeah!" Aldo was happy. Happy because... Well, why wouldn't he be happy? Life wasn't bad to him. He was starting to get used to living in this new town. And as much as he loved his brother, he enjoyed some time alone, glad that his brother was moving forwards with his work. A few hours had gone by and walking down the sidewalk now had not been in his original wake up plan but that was the beauty of life, wasn't it? Plans changing. And he was flexible. Meeting Rose actually seemed like a really exciting thing to do.
Smiling more softly, he couldn't help but notice that he was just a tiny bit too early when he got to the cafe. Not spotting Rose anywhere he got a table by a window and ordered a small cup of coffee, smiling at the waitres as he looked out the window and waited for her.

As Rose rushed over to the café she felt like a total hot mess. She had no idea if that was a good thing or not, honestly, but as far as it went she would probably need to see a therapist soon. It should be illegal for the thought of someone to make her want to smile and murder cute puppies at the same time. The idea only reminded her of an instant in her life when she saw a women pinch and wiggle an obese child's cheek as she squealed and called it cute. Then proceeded to tell it in a stupid voice that she could eat it all right up and how much she felt like biting it. Biting a child. It made no sense how sometimes the sight of cute things would make people by instinct want to eat it.
Logic said that people wanted to eat babies.
Logic also said that when Rose thought of Reaver- often enough she'd fit into the same bundle of baby eating crazies. Honestly, it felt normal. To want to pet him and chew off his face at the same time. At least he smelled better then vomit and oatmeal burps. Probably because he smelled like her at the very moment and she didn't mind one bit.
Still, a quick shower turned into a quicky, which turned into two not so quick quickies... Which, well, was the reason why her knee's felt weak and even though she'd normally rock the hell out of her studded leather platform booties- she found herself stumbling every once in a while and goddamn why did her hair have to curl on the ends when it was naturally dried?
But seriously, thank god for detangler spray and anti-frizz cream.
By the time she made it to the café, she was all but 5 minutes late -she may or may not have shifted to make it to the location faster (Honestly, the answer would depend on who was asking, pleading the 5th was such a lovely invention)- and she was slightly breathing harder then normal -balls to whoever would comment on her pink cheeks too, she felt very well put together after being fucked nth amount of times in a very short amount of time and having to get dressed, do her make up, and run to another location only to end up looking like she'd barely lifted a finger all afternoon- , regardless, she was well put together. To those who didn't know her and luckily-
Her date didn't.
If only, she could spot said date. Rolling her eyes, her shoulders dropped a bit and she swore she was going to strangle cutebabypuppyReaver is Aldo was late because as she quickly gazed across the crowd, she couldn't see him.

Logically thinking, being early to a place tended to be a good thing. He had looked around and made sure that Rose wasn't anywhere to be found. He was sure that he would have spotted her very easily. She was, well, unique from everyone else. In a good way. He loved the tattoos and her personality was one that he found easy to spot. Plus he had not seen anyone like her in town yet so the moment he would see her he would definitely know it was her. Still, arriving early only lead to some slight discomfort. What if she would cancel? He had thought of calling, or perhaps sending some form of text or another, just to be sure. But then again, he was just being a man at that. It wasn't like it was a date, just a meet up. She wanted to see how he was, who he was, and he understood that. But again, he was just being a man, and nervousness and anxiousness came from the thought of meeting privately with a pretty girl.
Because he had to admit, Rose was pretty. Attractive in more ways than one.
Aldo laughed at himself softly, shaking his head from side to side slightly, thinking to himself what it was that they might talk about. Anything really. Maybe questions about himself, how old he was, what he did. He hoped she didn't ask if he had a job. Some people got put off by his answer. "Aw geez, thanks!" He said with a broad smile at the waitress as she handed him his coffee. He took a sip and savored the taste, enjoying how warmth spread throughout his mouth and down his throat, before settling near the pit of his stomach.
Staring outside the window, he was so engrossed in people watching he hardly noticed Rose, not up until he glanced out of the corner of his eye to the front entrance of the cafe. A familiar figure, with a familiar face, stood, gazing about. He turned more on his seat to face in her direction, lifting a hand up. "Hey!" Called out, and raised an arm high, waving it from side to side with a wide grin on his face that he couldn't help. "Rose!" Aldo waited until he had her attention before lowering his arm, settling on his seat a little better to be more comfortable. He had changed his clothing for the occasion, nothing fancy but looking slightly more presentable while being himself as well. His jacket was drawn up tight against his shoulders, covering a navy blue shirt with a very small logo to the right side of it. Dark colored jeans too, but sandals as well. Simply to be comfortable.
Aldo took yet another sip of his coffee. The glass was small, he didn't want much, rather opting to not fill up before Rose got to him. He had wanted to order food, something small but satisfying, and already knew what he had wanted from looking at the menu.

If there was anything that Rose really hated was feeling like she was running against time. She wasn't a person to be obsessed with the idea of being on time or anything like that, but she didn't like feeling like she was rushing herself to get to where she had to go. So having to run, shift, and hustle her ass to the Café she promised to meet Aldo at wasn't something she felt happy about. If anything, she was slightly annoyed.
But she wasn't annoyed at all at the same time and that bothered her just the same.
Rose did have a good time with Reaver, She didn't regret almost being late, and she sure as hell didn't mind the feeling in her core and legs. She did however mind the fact that the second time she was seeing Aldo she wasn't as prepared or as cool as she would have liked to be. Her naturally wavy hair had been naturally died and as she tossed it over one shoulder, she felt the smooth waves that were often called beach waves.
She wasn't an ugly girl and she didn't need make up to lighten her features so in all honesty all she did was put a coat of dark burgundy lip stain on her lips. She'd skipped the foundation and just lined her bottom eyelid with white eyeliner, she used a black glittery liquid eyeliner to give herself a winged liner and used a glitter mascara to complete the effect. Really, if anything, it looked like she took hours on her face alone but she blamed it on the multiple tattoo's that adored her skin. She wore a silky black tanktop under a leather jacket and a pair of white ripped jeans that went into the mouth of her black and white tribal booties.
Aldo didn't know her and therefore, he wouldn't have seen how overwhelmed she felt at the moment. Because regardless of the fact that she felt out of breath, she did let out a long breath when she laid eyes on him after he called out to her. She carefully made her way over to his table and sat across from him. "Hey there," She relaxed and took her time to catch her breath before continuing. "Honestly I was freaking out because I thought you'd left and I'm sorry I'm normally not late but something held me up and-" She paused and laughed softly. "Glad you're here though."
She didn't want to ramble and as the waitress came along, she smiled and casually asked for her usual. "Oh! That reminds me, would you mind taking it to-go, Aldo? There was something I wanted to show you." Yes, she felt sort of like a douchbag at the moment and she hated that she seemed so out of it and rushed but she was kind of excited. "It's a surprise and it's nearby so your food won't get cold."

"Sure thing, Rose," he replied to her with a small smile, leaning forwards a little bit to try to get just somewhat more comfortable once Rose had arrived, before leaning back again, before leaning forwards again. "I don't mind it, honestly. Besides, with these lanky ass legs?" He looked down at his pair of long thin legs, just a little longer than what they should be but it didn't bother him. Aldo found extra height to be something he loved to have, looking around at people from a whole different perspective. "Better to keep them moving. Keep the, ah, blood pumping in all the places, and the such," he laughed softly, having ordered his food after Rose did for hers, making sure to tell the waitress that he would have it on the go. At least it wouldn't be too much, a small turkey club sandwhich and a chocolate muffin to fill the hole.
At that moment he finished his coffee with a satisfied sigh. "Ah, well, hey, I'm glad you made it. But you shouldn't worry about being late. I tend to arrive earlier than I should to places, which many people tend to hate, but I'm patient too! So, hey, I wasn't just going to ditch ten minutes in cause you aren't right here right now on the dot punctual. You weren't even that late, if hardly, I didn't notice!" Aldo grinned and finally settled into a position that he found to be comfortable. He crossed his left leg over his right knee under the table, keeping it at a ninety degree angle as he crossed his arms over his chest, looking at Rose and contemplating her looks inwardly with an approving gaze and a smile.
She looked stunning, to say the least.
Aldo ran a hand through his long curly hair and smiled a toothy white smile. "So what's up? What's this thing you want to show me? I mean, yeah, points for a surprise but, I kind of still want to know." His smile almost grew wider but then he stopped himself. "Curiosity killed the cat, I guess? Honestly I'm just happy we are getting a chance to talk in a more, ah, convenient location. I mean you know, a supermarket isn't exactly the best place to maintain a proper conversation, all things considered though, it definitely was amongst the strangest of ways in which I've met someone. Which, mind you, isn't a bad thing! Just interesting I came across you there, or that I came across you in the first place." Aldo chuckled softly and scratched his left cheek slightly before bringing his hand down softly unto the table.
"By the way, I know I probably rambled to you about this before, but those tattoos. Seriously." He smiled, nodding approvingly. "Seriously top notch work there. Especially if you've made some of those with your own designs and then did it on yourself? I mean. Wow. That's serious talent right there dude! I've always wanted to get a tattoo but honestly, I'm something of a pussy for pain." Aldo smiled, knowing there were worse things to say about him that he kept his mouth shut about. She didn't know, she didn't have to know. His eyes shifter outside for a few seconds before shifting back to Rose, staring at her eyes.

Rose nodded and replied to Aldo's comments here and there. He was easy to talk to but she did find it a bit difficult at times to keep up with his rapid moving conversation changes. In all honesty, she still found his hyper mood a bit surprising and she figured it was because she'd only ever really seen him laid back in the privacy of his home relaxing and watching television. Which now surprised her, honestly. For someone who could currently not keep his leg from twitching, he sure could stay still in his home. Maybe it was just the lack of socialization that made him so twitchy and hyper.
Maybe weed wasn't the only drug he was on.
She questioned mentally if he was high for a second but shook her head and stood up the moment their food and drinks arrived. Laughing at something he said, she followed the waitress across the café and towards the cash register, making sure he was following them as well. She paid for her things and then moved aside as he paid for his, keeping up a decent general conversation as she did so. Once he was done, she bid the waitress goodbye and moved to the door, holding it for him as they left the air-conditioned café and walked into the hot air outside.
"Is it me or is it getting warmer as the sun sets?" She rhetorically asked as she walked off towards the direction of her destination, crossing the street at the corner and moving down towards the shop, that was visible after a couple of small blocks. "So I don't know if you've heard of this place or not," She started, looking both ways before crossing the street towards a small shop with tinted windows and a logo with the words "Black Dragon Tattoo" printed visibly on all windows. "But it just opened a couple of months ago and it's about the only tattoo shop in town. My mom rented me a small working space here and honestly I haven't used it much, I just keep most of my things here for tattooing and call it good."
She smiled and opened the door before heading inside, holding it for him. A bell rung off in the distance but soon shut off by itself. The space was open and big, it looked more like a lounge then a shop, mainly because all the stations were in their own room, big windows looking into each place giving each artist privacy if they desired simply by the close of a curtain. Out of the four rooms, three had lights on even though no one seemed to be inside of them and the fourth was dark with the curtain pulled closed. "Usually there is someone out here hanging out and talking to anyone that stops by, but I'm sure he's in the back just chilling or having lunch." She explained, pointing to a camera. "They could see if anyone is here or not so they won't bother and all the artists' go mainly by appointments so typically there's no one here unless they're working with someone."
Turning towards him, she gave a soft smile, "my room is number four," She said, pointing towards the dark room before moving to the main desk in the lounge, three binders decorated it's top along with a monitor, business cards, and a couple of other things. "I don't have a book but if you want, you could see the other guys art here."

Being able to maintain a conversation over a period of time was something that Aldo quickly came to appreciate from Rose. It didn't take him long to figure that out and found that behind the looks she was actually a rather eloquent some well spoken person. She knew what she was talking about with topics that interested her and even when he deviated to a different course of topic she kept up with him what seemed rather easily. Still, Aldo did his best to deliberately slow down his mind and his words, just enough, at least, to not seem like a rambling hot mess to her. He paid after her, smiled as she held the door open for him, and holding on to the small plastic bag on which they had given him his food tightly with his left hand, Aldo began following Rose. "Yeah, it's been getting warm lately," he commented softly, keeping just a little bit of a distance between the two of them, off to her side and close enough for him to be able to listen closely to what Rose had to say.
"Black Dragon?" he questioned, then smiled, some excitement beginning to brew somewhere inside his chest. "Cool name!" continued Aldo not a moment after as he walked in alongside her. First thing he noticed? It was rather quiet. Empty, but then with her explanation it all really made sense as to why. He looked over at the camera and stared at it for a couple of seconds, then turned his head and glanced at the darkened room which she explained was her own. Aldo immediately wished to be in there and see what the tools she worked with looked like, but held off on his want, not wishing to make himself seem as too pushy of a person. He'd just wait until she wanted to go inside her own room to follow along. "Quaint little place," he commented with a smile which he fought to hold in that state. It threatened to expand into a wide grin. "I really like it. So much different than what I imagined though. Kind of expected some hustle and bustle. Then again that's how it was where I came from. An ex-girlfriend I had, she was huge on tattoos. Quite frankly it rubbed off a little on me I guess, cause the process and the art behind it is just fascinating." By now he was leaning up against the opposite side of the counter from her, one of the binders open as he slowly flipped through page after page of artwork. His eyes lit up in excitement with each design, a few of which he pictured placed on his body. His left arm was lazily resting parallel to the edge of the counter top, using that along with the weight of his body as support as he flipped the pages with his other hand.
"Wow," he remarked, pointing at a particularly intricate design that had caught his eye. He pointed at it with his finger and looked up at Rose. "Things like this must take literally days to complete. That really must be super toilsome on the artist. I can't even begin to imagine..." Aldo flipped the page and marveled at a design of a tiger's head that seemed to be made out of rifles, handguns, and ammunition. "Not even considering that some of these are colored in as well. Having to get the colors and the shading right, getting it all down on your first attempt. Jesus heck, man." Once more he looked up at Rose. "Although these things must become second nature by the time you artists move on to such complex designs as these." He looked back down and flipped the page, smiling, and feeling like a child. It almost felt to him as if he was going through someone's private diary, a soft blush of shame forming at the thought. Aldo let go of that binder, having poured over three quarters of the content, and moved on to the second one.
"So is this your job then?" He questioned lightly, glancing at her visible tattoos. "You said you did some of those yourself, right? I can't even imagine, there must be people lining up wanting to get some work done by you. I know I would if I had the balls to do this. Call me more of the silent admirer than the actively participating one. Well, maybe it's because I haven't really found anything that I want to get. I mean, if I'm going to have art permanently drawn unto my skin, I want it to be something I reaaaally want. I mean, I need to be craving that shit. I gotta lose some sleep over it before I get it. Although maybe I should just, well, jump. Get one that I like and who knows maybe that'll be the one and I was just overthinking everything." Aldo lowered his voice a little, flipping through the pages of the binder. "I mean it doesn't have to be anything complex. The simple ones always look so pretty." He paused and pointed at a particular design. It was a circle that had feathers spiraling outwards at an angle, giving it the resemblance of a saw blade. "Like that. It looks nice in my opinion." He smiled and pulled back a little, once more flipping through the pages. "But all in its time! Now, come on. There's got to be some of your work around here somewhere. You gotta show me!"
