Ruby narrowed her gaze, "I said to take my room. I'll take my brothers. It's not like I'm giving away my bed and sleeping on a couch instead-I'll still be sleeping on a bed. Plus, I'm sure you'll be more comfortable in a girl's room rather than a man's. Even if said girl resembles a guy. You're not sleeping on the couch. Period." Ruby reached for her cup of chocolate and would ignore anything else that was said on this matter.
Plus, it seemed like Killian wasn't living here anymore. So Ruby could always pack his things up and make it her room if she wanted to. A small frown creased between her eyebrows, why would she need to throw out her brother's things out when no one else was going to live with her. She cast a glance at Sybil and she didn't know why but she had thought of Sybil staying here with her as though it was a normal thing. Which it shouldn't. Sybil was just...well she was barely a associate and here Ruby was thinking of living with her.
She paused, glanced at Sybil and then back at her plate. "I'm sorry about that." Why? Ruby really didn't know what Sybil had did before this besides from the scent of her boyfriend on him-along with alcohol and blood-and the fact that she was now a shifter. She wondered how her parents were. In her mind, they were nice people. How else could they have a daughter such as Sybil?
But they sounded like douches for throwing out their own daughter. Not that Ruby knew any good parents-scratch that, Timothy and Avery as well as Nathaniel and Jewel were great parents from what she could see. But in her experience, parents were asses.
Ruby wasn't going to probe for more information seeing as how Sybil acted to the question before. "I'll take you there to go get them." Her grip tightened on the fork she held for a moment before she continued to eat-pausing in between to speak, "oh and don't worry, I'll take the car instead of the bike. We don't need more accidents-plus there's more room."
