Laughter tugged Sarah from her sleep. It was a masculine laughter, but it was nothing like Crevan's deep voice - or even Julian's. It was her father. Not Foster, the mysterious dragon-kin that had taken care of Felicity as she was pregnant. He would never be seen as her father. It was Jaxton Ellison the forty-year-old man that had adopted her - the man she affectionately called "Daddy".
Groggily, she opened her eyes to the room that she had been given in the castle. She looked around the otherwise empty room, rightly confused. Seriously, she'd never be able to see her father, mother, or dog again. So why would her subconscious be so cruel as to do that to her? She was too tired to cry, so when she finally stopped looking around, she closed her eyes and felt comfort. Crevan was in the room just next door. If it was something she should be worried about, her master would be there. And! She could breathe fire. There were some perks about being part dragon.
The next time she heard her father's laugh was a couple hour later, where she was in a deep sleep. A dream, rather. Her father, dressed in a lab coat and sporting his usual goatee. Mer mother was there, too, her grey-streaked auburn hair tied in a bun. They were dancing around the college's lab, with no care in the world. And Tater was there, wagging her tail and barking happily.
"Sary-Beary," Jaxton called, making Sarah giggle. He reached out to her, his calloused hand palm-up and inviting. "Come with us!"
"Go with you where?" Sarah asked, yet she wasn't suspicious. She was too happy because she got to see her parents! So happy that she grabbed her father's hand. "To Taco Bell?"
Her parents just laughed, then the world went black.
***
Felicity knew something was wrong.
Call it a mother's intuition. But as she roamed the halls in the early morning light, she saw a shadow that wasn't supposed to be there. One blink, and it was gone. So, surely it wasn't an Unseelie follower. Not only that, but faeries weren't supposed to be in the vampire realm without prior permission.
Then she mentally smacked herself. The Treaty is between the Sellie Court and vampires. The Unseelie Court could come and go as they pleased.
Her steps grew more hurried the farther she went. The more light that came through the windows guaranteed more shadows would hide away. Though there was most definitely something wrong when these shadows danced in the light.
"Why are they here?" she worried aloud, even though she was positive of the answer. "No, nononono."
Sarah.
Herdoor was shut securely, she saw, as she ran full speed down to her daughter's room. There was a mass of writhing black on the floor, and it made it hard to tell whether it was coming in or seeping out. Either way, it was hard to open it. Her shoulder rammed into the wood, and it suddenly it gave way. It caused her to fall.
Then she struggled to sit up, not giving the darkness time to entangle her. Her already fluffed hair was in her face, but it didn't cover her vision; Sarah's bed was empty. And this caused her to scream.

Crevan for once had been fast asleep, not the pretending to be asleep and resting his eyes. He had been full dead to the world, I cant hear anything sleep. As if he was actually dead. But the pierced scream had him up and grabbing his sword and running for the door, he was still only in a night shirt and breeches. " what? Whats going on?" not seeing any one in the hall but the door to Sarah's room open he would slowly walk for it unsheathing his sword leaving the sheath on the floor. His eyes focused on the room it all most causing him to drop his sword."...Sarah?" Anger started to boil in him till he saw Felicity on the floor, being she was the one that most likely had screamed his first little thought faded. " What happened?" His voice had not a pinch of warmth in it. It sounded iced yet very deadly calm, " what is this black stuff?" It reminded him of wraith's tattered clothing. But it all most seemed alive and he wondered if it would dissipate or remain.
~*~
Liana would jerk awake breathing heavy," there has been a breach " She whispered her husband staring at her from a small desk in the room. " What do you mean a breach?" He stood up walking over to her, she looked up at him" I do not know. All I know some one came and is left, my connection is not as strong as before. " His face looked grimly at her, he knew what she was thinking. He would not have it at all, watching her get up and move to her walk in closet to get dressed." You should be still resting" He said softly. She was going through her many cloths to pull down something that did not like like what a dainty type of queen would were. It looked more like her daughters outfit," what are you doing?" She would start to shrug into the gear after putting on a tunic. " If you refuse to let me use the throne I will need to seek magic help else where. " Armel would raise a brow as he walked in rubbing his face. " why is she flitting about all mad like?"
Damien would growl looking at him. " I do not know " Armel would rub his face walking over to her as she cinched up the corset part of the armored clothing. " Hey tell me what is going on?" She would slap his hands away from her which caused him to wake up quickly and have a shock look on his face.
She would move past her witch and husband," Find Crevan I need the general" Armel just stood for a moment stupefied. " Now!" She barked as she rounded the corner, this made them both jump." Right" Armel said as he rushed out of the room. Damien chuckled brushing down his tunic and following her, now he knew where his daughter got her spite fire nature from. He had never seen a side of her like this, she usually frail looking. " Call the guardsmen have there witches put wards on the walls till we can figure out what happen. No one in or out...even the merchants" Damien would nod moving from amused to more serious as he whistled a falcon would come and sit on his shoulder, he would scribble out the message before placing it inside the little cap sol. " Find the nearest guardsmen to the gate. " The falcon would take off. He wondered where the crow was. but that thought did not remain as he rushed on after his wife.
~*~
Alister would seem to appear out of no where, " Do you wish me to clean the mess?" He asked. He was angry but it did not show, inside the palace walls he did not think she would be harmed. Now he was wrong and had failed his job, he could feel the look Crevan was giving him. Though Crevan said nothing to him but just stared at the back of his head as if trying to bore a hole in it. He no doubt thought the shrew of a woman would turn on him as well, once she had caught her bearings.

At the sound of Crevan's voice, the black shadow mass darted to the safety of the bed's underside. Felicity scrambled up and practically chased after it, thinking that if she just caught the excess of the bogey essence she would be able to get answers somehow. But she had a feeling that it wasn't going to be under there; she bent to look, and sure enough, it wasnt there.
"She's gone!" she screeched, this time coherently. The mother straightened only to bend over the bed to throw back the covers. As if Sarah had just burrowed deeper into them to keep warm. Irrational, yes. But a mother hopes that the worst didn't happen to her children. Felicity was no different.
Alister's words triggered something in her on top of the fear for her daughter. It was a fiery anger - one could practically see steam coming from her ears. "Did you do something Alister?" she accused hotly. "Did you make a deal with the Unseelie?"

Crevan listened to Felicity screech and run around the room searching for Sarah, he seemed slightly confused as to why she thought she might be hiding. And when Alister showed up was re leaved till she started spouting more none sense. Alister tilted his head to look at Felicity " Deal with who? Faries? I have not made a deal with any one sense my contract to protect Sarah. Last time I made a contract with a fairy it did not end so well for me. So ..no I have not Made a deal with the Unseelie" He seemed confused as to why he would of wasted his time chasing her about and protecting her if he had.
He would of just delivered her the first day and been done with it. He thought the woman had gone mad with grief, looking to Crevan he wondered how he was so calm. " Let us stop blaming some one and do something about it" He said realizing Crevan must be in shock because he was saying nothing. He would of asked kagome for help to see how she was taken but she was not in this realm any more. This meant that Alister would have to use his magic to do so, which even cost something for a demon. It was the balance of the universe after all, ...he paused and turned to Felicity" I take it you know where they have taken her?"
He would slowly bend to her level" Why don't you tell us where and we can go get her maybe? or is it hard to get to your realm? Or is it their realm?" Crevan would sigh lightly" who matters who realm as long as some one knows how to get to it. " I will return soon. Do not leave with out me." He said walking out of the door, Alister realized he was in his night cloths and understood why had gone silent by the glint of red on his cheeks as he left. " Well spill it Felicity"

Felicity was in too fearful of a state to notice that Crevan was in his night clothes. Right then he could have been in a clown suit and she would not have cared one bit. Right now, she could only think - since Sarah was not hiding anywhere else in the room - of the worst. The bogeys might be giving her waking nightmares. The Unseelie king's henchmen might be giving her a hard time. She might see little gremlins tear their kill apart while it was still alive.
There are worse things to behold than red eyes. And Sarah was going to find out in the worst way possible: first hand.
Felicity had to take a series of deep breaths before she spoke. If she hadn't her voice would be worse than a squeaky dog toy and she would conveniently forget how to breathe. "I know who took them. I don't know where. I don't know what they want with her." For Felicity, that was the scariest thing out of this whole ordeal. If she just knew, then she could form a plan to get her back.
She had to take a step back when Alister bent to her level. Although his intentions seem good, and Sarah liked him well enough, Felicity still didn't like him. Call her a racist woman, but she hadn't had very good experiences with demons. "It's fairly easy," she answered hesitantly. "At least, to open a portal. Where that portal would take us is a different matter altogether. We could end up in the middle of the forest. Or on the mountains. We could even land on one of the kings' laps. It all depends, really. On what circumstances, I don't know. It's not like this realm, where there is a fixated spot where space-travelers land if they want to be here. "
And that was another reason why she was freaking out. It could take days to find Sarah. Or just a few minutes. Sarah could just so happen to already be in the Unseelie court. Felicity could end up in Oberon's. Where she still had a penalty to pay. With that thought, her hand went protectively to her throat, her face paling considerably. She moved farther away until she was sitting down gently at the edge of the bed. Tears were in her eyes.
Sarah could be dead already. And if Oberon found out Felicity had returned to the realm he would surely finish her like he had finished Foster.

Alister would watch her walk slowly over to the bed and sit down beginning to cry, she had explained how dangerous traveling to the place was. He wondered how much death might meet them in the actual realm itself, it was exciting for him. Yet he knew that Crevan would be less then pleased considering Sarah was involved, which did put Alister on edge because regardless of being a demon he had feelings.
Being Sarah to him was some sort of friend the excitement did fade quickly and his smile faded his look becoming more serious. " Well does this mean if we all ported to the realm that none of us would be in the same spot. Like say you make it so we can make it through and we go together, but when we come out on the other side you end up in court, Crevan ends up in the forest? And ...well I most likely end up some where interesting. " He assumed there was forest at least. He looked towards the door as Crevan returned fully dressed in a leather tunic his armor was not the large plate. It looked like a thinner covering the leather tunic making it look light weight. His sword at his hip and the smaller in front, dagger in his boot and he wore a cloak. He took the temperature of the room and assumed that she was not crying because of Alister.
He would go after Sarah regardless of Felicities fears, if he had to randomly jump realms. He assumed if they were going to kill Sarah they would of not taken her. They would of killed her and took a finger or ear, possibly head to show that she had been killed. He waited for the woman to compose her self or at least have a outburst before yelling at Alister, but seeing how Composed Alister was he wondered if he was actually run his coarse on teasing her. He was not really a cruel demon as most were depicted, in fact he thought Alister was the most caring. Which made him at first distrust him greatly, would he eat his soul? Of course he would. But would feel some lost of him, yes he even admitting it as such on their travels together. And he imagined that Felicity was growing on him, but would Alister admit it? Crevan very much doubted that.
He at this point wished his little niece was here to help them get her back, she was adapted in seeing the past by touching objects and people. He had not heard facts about her after her capture by a lower class demon, he had heard a many great rumors that she had been turned slave or her powers sealed. But he doubted she would allow that, though the fact she had been taken in the first place discouraged him. He could really use her help at this point, which in turn made him feel less of him self admitting to himself.

Felicity wasn't to the point where if she opened her mouth, she'd sob. At least, not yet. So it was easy to explain how traveling to the realm works. "No. You would have to open a different portal for each individual person to end up in different parts of the realm." She leaned her head back slightly and blinked the tears away. "Since I'm only opening one portal we'd be at the same place."
Upon seeing Crevan she stood up quickly and looked at him seriously. Her eyes were pink from the crying, and when she asked, "Are you ready now?" her voice was a bt scratchy. Though she didn't particularly wait for an answer. Because then she turned at a ninety degree, her dress creating a swishing sound before she waled purposefully to the wall. There, she drew an image with the pad of her index finger as she chanted under her breath. Of course, she could do this without something sturdy to draw on like a wall. Yet she found it much easier and more efficient than drawing in the air.
Slowly, the image created its own ink, thick blue lines filled in the invisible path that Felicity drew almost immediately after she passed over a spot on the wall. Unlike her sister, it exhausted her when it came to rituals like these. But finally, when the image was completed and sweat was beading her brow, the portal slowly opened. The wall suddenly because dark, and expanded a few feet wide and a few more feet tall. At the end of the small tunnel there was a light. In that light they could see easily see trees and green grass.
"Let's go."
Her steps were hesitant, but she led the way. With her back turned, it was hard for them to see her discretely wiping her face with her hand. And really, it didn't matter because they ended up at the edge of the forest. The only one, yes. It was ... neutral territory for both the Unseelie and Seelie territory. The same forest that she lived in with Foster. The same one that he protected until he died. That's not what had her freaking out.
It was the fighting that was going on.
The dragonesque woman in full-body armor was slashing away at the small horde of Unseelie beasts coming at her. Well, most of them weren't. The leader of the horde, the one that took Sarah, was hollering at them, "No, you fools! Cowards! Come back and fight this monster!" He sat atop his tree, looking as if he had climbed it in order to get away from the woman diminishing his entorage with few swipes from her claymore. And each time she made contact they would screech in undeniable pain before dissolving in a mass of black and disappearing.
Yet Sarah was nowhere to be found.
When the horde was finally gone (either from running or dying) Hathwari turned and shouted to the faerie man, "Come down here, Duante!"
"You must be insane if you believe I am coming down to face an iron-clad dragon."

Alister seemed pleased with her answer, though it would of been more fun if they had been separated at least if it had been any one else kidnapped. He watched her composer with a new found respect, he knew that she had Sarah's well being first and foremost in her mind. And his first judgement had been rushed, but he was not about to tell her that or make a move to comfort her. He knew she had some kind of anger towards him and he knew it was more then his snide remarks and cheeky attitude, thought he had a idea why he was not about to guess.
Hearing Crevan return he would focus on him and smile seeing that he looked ready to devour souls with how stoic he looked, his thoughts ran to wondering what it would of been like if he had been a demon. Crevan would follow Felicity to the wall he seemed patient if one was not looking very closely his little ticks were apparent to those that did. His hand would tap its fingers on his leg or his other hand would wring the handle on his sword, his eyes could not stay in one spot while looking any where. He never voiced his agitation or told her to hurry up, of course it most likely was because he had to go change and would of felt bad later for it.
Alister moved after him once he noticed the fatigue set into her and the sweat on her brow, when she said lets go he reached out to grab her and if she had hesitated any more he would of touched her and kept her from going in first. His concern was not un noticed by Crevan who brushed past him to follow her in, Alister hissed and followed. Craven stiffened drawing his large clay-more he had brought with him along the two swords at his belt. Swinging the clay-more down he waited to see if any would come this way, but it seemed the woman was making fast work of them so he swung the sword up and hung if off his shoulder as he walked slowly to stand by Felicity placing his free hand on her shoulder. " DO not worry we will find her " He whispered looking down at her his eyes looked censer and he meant it.
Though he knew he needed her help, one not knowing the layout of his surroundings could not run off in search of some one.
Alister would pull his gloves off and stuff them in his jacket, " So much like the elves this forest. I bet if you separate even a little you get lost " He would lick his finger a sizzling sound coming from them. " If you can get him down I could interrogate him. " Craven would smile wondering if his clay-more could chop down the tree and how long that could take. Crevan would look to Felicity for guidance, this was her lead not his. Though he found Sarah to be his he was not about to run the show, and Felicity had a stake in this as well so only naturally he let her lead.

Hathwari's lungs felt the familiar, comfortable burn of the ignition before the flames spouted. Yet she could not bring herself to set Duante on fire. It wasn't because his glamour was a thing to be feared; within the forest magic wasn't used without either a high chance of it screwing up or simply because the forest said no. It was because the tree Duante was sitting on was … inhabited. Not necessarily, though. It was hard to explain. But most of these threes within the forest had nymphs that took care of them, one nymph for each three. If the tree died, the nymph died. And Hathwari couldnt have that.
"Aranel is out of your clutches," she said, smoke curling from her elongated muzzle before rising to the green canopy. "Come down and admit that you have failed your king."
Duante narrowed his eyes dangerously before the coal-black irises grew and consumed the whites of them. Suddenly, at the sound of the newcomers, of one of the men that dared to say he should interrogate him and of Felicity replying with "Let her handle this," he moved that eerie pair toward them.
"Ah, Felicity! It has been a long, twenty years without seeing your beautiful face."
And that was when Hathwari turned a bit in shock to look at the companions. Her armor clicked, the chain mail slithering as it settled into a new place. But Felicity wasn't looking at her; her blue eyes became hard as her jaw clenched. It was clear Duante was a favored person with her. "I suggest you come down. Otherwise the tree will flick you off."
But Duante ignored that bit, instead grinning evilly. "And you brought friends! Oh, such a joyous occasion. Is that a … demon with you? I thought you hated demons, darling. Hated them because of what they did to your family." He tsked before chuckling. "But who is on your other side?"
"Hathwari," Felicity started before Duante said something that Hathwari burning flames his direction (he fell out of the tree and landed on his feet due to it. Yet no burns. And the tree was thankfully all right).
"Did you forget Foster's death so easily that you found another beau?"
Hathwari stalked to the now-cowering Duante, her claymore's blade glinting ominously due to the sun's dying light. "Never speak illy of her again," she hissed, sounding more like an animal than human. "She would never forget him. Just like I will never forget how you will do a favor for me after I spare your life."
His face was paler than a ghost's, and his eyes returned to normal. He pressed his back against another tree, keeping himself away from the iron of the suit and weapon. "What is the favor?"
"I do not know. But I will call. Do not forget. I will hunt you down and kill you slowly if you do."
"I promise not to forget."
"Also promise to do whatever it is I tell you." At this Duante hesitated. Though only for a brief second. Hathwari stepped so close he was feeling his skin heat uncomfortably die to the iron.
"I promise to do as you say."
"When I call upon my favor."
"When you call upon your favor."
"Your word is binding. Now go."
And when she stepped away, he scuttled deeper into the forest.

( sorry if they met this persona before . Cant remember so gonna play as if they haven't)
Crevan stood with his sword over his shoulder now his hand gently touching Felicity's shoulder when the stubby man spoke ill of her, he bared his fangs and hissed his eyes seemingly permanent fixed on their blood lust. But they seemed to have intensified his hand tightened briefly as he took a deep breath through is nose, Alister seemed to notice and moved beside Crevan gently touching his shoulder which made him let go of Felicity's shoulder. " Subleva animo alligandi fame." (Ease the mind and bind the hugner.)
Crevan stood for a few moments like a zombie staring into nothing, it was to ease the man's anger allowing his protective nature to settle. He didn't need him accidentally hurting any one that he was not angry at. He was past the first stage of his blood lust and needed to be calmed. Alister looked to Felicity for a moment " Is she kin of yours?" He meant more of from the marriage she had to her husband that she was family through that extension. He heard her speak about Aranel which he figured they were talking about Sarah, since Crevan's wife was long dead and gone.
Who ever had dined on her soul only got a taste, the energy from it had sent shivers up his spine. It was a soul worth devouring. He drew himself from the thoughts he was having to see Crevan coming to a little, he saw his hand come to his head gently holding it as he closed his eyes. He wondered if it was becoming harder to fight it, often enough he had to send his guard to fight Crevan till the blood lust was sated by their deaths. It only sent their shells back to the connected underworld of hell, but one had a price to pay to leave their world. Everything had a price.
Alister would leave him standing like that for the moment, he was afraid he might have to fight him. Alister would not go down with out taking his soul, narrowing his eyes he walked around him to look down at Felicity. He wondered if she was ok after what that man had said about her moving on from her husband, Alister was all about laughs but he did not find that funny at all. Seeing that she bound the man by word confused him too, yes they could just kill them if their word was not up held. I mean that's what demons did, but he found it not very effective to bind them by their words. People often lie a lot.

Felicity took in a sharp breath when Crevan tightened his hold, and when he released his hold she felt her shoulder throb a bit. Whether or not Crevan was being particularly tough, it didn't matter. Creating a portal sapped quite a bit of her strength. At the current moment her pain tolerance was low.
"She is," Felicity replied, getting his implication. "Despite her being the youngest, she acts as if she has the world on her shoulders." It took all she had not to step a bit away from her companions. Only when Hathwari moved toward them like a predator stalking prey – the usual gait she had – did she actually move.
"Sister," Hathwari greeted neutrally, putting her Faerie glamour on. It seemed as if she shrank two feet, and the short spikes for horns disappeared, replaced with long, whispy white hair. Firey, lizardlike eyes became boring brown ones. She still had the armor on, yet it was more suited for her true form. "If Oberon knows you are here, he will certainly kill you." Even so, they hugged. Tightly, because they believed they wouldn't ever see each other again.
"We plan to get Sarah back and leave."
"Sarah? Aranel?"
"Yes, though she doesn't go by that." She loosened her hold around Hathwari's neck before pulling back. "Oberon can't know she is here, either. If he does, he might have me follow through wit the promise."
"You both could live, though." Hathwari was the first to break the embrace.
"I'd rather die." Her response was said with finality, and she emphasized it by crossing her arms over her chest. Felicity didn't want for Sarah to be queen because she wouldn't feel the love that spouses should feel for each other. At least with the vampires, even if Sarah called Crevan 'master', she would find love. She did have a few suitors, and danced with every man (young, old, fat, skinny) at her ball because she just couldn't say no. She didn't want to come across as rude.
Then she was reminded of Julian. The young prince and heir to the throne who, for some reason (she didn't know of the fact that Julian is Crevan's son) had an interest in Sarah. A cold wash of fear drenched her back, and she shivered. Julian could ask for her hand, and she would be a future queen, because she couldn't say no. If that happened, she would have gone through a lot for nothing.
"Well, I would rather you not perish. So you must get Aranel quickly and go to your haven." Hathwari knew that Felicity escaped from Oberon's hold because of her brother's stupidity. "Wherever that is." It was then she looked to Crevan and Alister. "Who are you to Aranel–"
"Sarah."
"Sarah. Who are you to my brother's daughter that you have accompanied Felicity to find her?"

Alister would raise a brow" What a prime specimen her soul would be " He said with a chuckle, he enjoyed ones that fought so much more then the inherited meek and mild. The devils child was much more of a wild child then gods puppet, the smile tipped to a slight evil look before it was gone and he looked calm and refined again. " Eh? " He snapped his fingers in front of Crevans face." You ok, Ja?" Snapping them again had Crevan coming to before he shoved Alisters hand from in front of his face. " I am fine stop it. " He said clearing his throat as he noticed things were not as he saw them before. Glaring at the demon only made Alister smile again. " what ..." Crevan watched the display of affection between the two keeping Alister in his eye sight.
At the several mentioning of his dead wife's name he let out a sigh, he was not angry or impatient just stung a little every time she said it. A twinge of guilt welled up in him and Alister grew cautious, " You know Sarah needs your help" He whispered to Crevan who snapped out his own world again. " I know now silence demon " At the prompt Alister fell silent, the look in his eyes said it was not by choice. A seal glowed for a second on Alister's neck, and one akin to his glowed on Crevan's cheek.
When Hathwari asked him the question he seemed to think for a moment, and in the end he thought honesty was key. " She is my pet by legal standards. She was bought and given to me by my brother. It matters not if that is standing. Sarah is more then a mere piece of property to me. I should not have to explain my reasoning for rescuing some one important to me. And surely not to you... perhaps Felicity but she much as invited me to retrieve her daughter. " He swung the sword bringing it down holding it with one hand when one should be holding it with both to wield it better." I will cut down any one and anything in my way. I can promise you that."
Alister stiffened a little as if wanted to say something, his eyes narrowing as the symbol glowed on them both again. With out looking back Crevan spoke to Alister," You may speak again. Do it wisly" Alsiter growled taking in a breath as the anger pooled before settling as he let out the breath. " Do you not think it wise to have to defeat the whole forest to just retrieve one person? If you talk more sweetly you might not have to fight your way to her. ..." He did not recall Crevan being so abruptly rude. Not in any circumstance in their time together, he was even kind to those he fought against in war time. Giving a swift death instead of making it slow, and paying respects to their spirit after. Men fought for what they believed in, meant they were no different then the winning side other then they lost and to shame them made the victor less of a man.
At least that is what he had told Alister, " Do not mind him he is cranky " He jumped back a little when Crevan shifted the broad sword with a flick of his wrist. " Silence demon" Alister tried to speak again but failing he stood and brood.

Hathwari didn't like the sound of Sarah being a pet to this man. Hathwari wasn't raised to believe that someone should be another's property. For the Faeries, their witches stayed by their sides out of will. Felicity stayed with Foster freely. Her sister stayed with Kheelan just as so. Oberon did, indeed, have a witch that willingly stood by his side, and she was about to be crowned Queen of the Seelie Court (though life happened).
Had he only said that, even by legal standards, the forest probably wouldn't have let him anywhere near it, much less the girl that it protected. Though he said that Sarah was much more to him than that. Hathwari trusted his word, albeit rather reluctantly. She would have willingly led Crevan through this forest to find her brother's daughter. But he had to go and threaten when he shouldn't have threatened.
If she had super speed, she would have had her sword up against his throat in less than five seconds. If she had super strength, she would have hurled a boulder in warning. But with the considerable distance between them, and the lack of such powers on her part, she couldn't do anything save for feeling the anger awakening within the trees behind her.
"I had no qualms with you, vampire, until you threatened my home." She took a glance at Alister, then after he defended Crevan she dismissed him quickly. "Crabby or not, I will not have a foreigner of this realm believe he can throw his weight around in search of something that is safe where she is."
"Where is she, Hathwari?" The dragonesque woman turned to the witch, who had asked the question. Her blue eyes were wide with ... unease. "There aren't many places that she can be safe within this forest."
"The forest has an affinity for her and she for it. I have seen it, even if it had been briefly. It is only because she is Foster's child. She will be safe from anything that tries to harm her." She sent a piercing glance at Crevan's way before looking back at Felicity. "To answer your question, I believe she is with the hag."
"The hag?" Shortly after that incredulous outburst, a few people materialized from out of the forest - Hathwari's friends, all halfbreed like her (though not half-dragon). All wearing iron armor like her. Felicity paid no mind. They were there to help guide and help keep Crevan from doing anything he shouldn't have threatened to do. "Why?"
"The forest believes she should be there."

Crevan would watch her for a moment as she spoke, wording was every thing to him. He took a deep breath to keep from becoming angered." If you were listening I threatened not one. If your not standing in my way then that does not apply to you or your home. If you feel different we can do the little dance of realms." Alister would try and clear his throat but speaking was not allowed still, he would now gently grab Crevan's arm which earned him a look till he took his hand away.
" Speak wisely." He said through grit teeth." If you two can stop fussing about who is badder. Which depending on how much blood lust you have, well if you don't have enough I would say the woman would win. " Crevan stared at him as if telling him his silence was going to be key again. Alister would rush the rest." Can we just go see this hag?" He knew that crevan was worried about Sarah but somethings clouded his mind sometimes. Crevan sheathed his weapon with one swing up and into the sheath.
" The fact that I will get lost with Felicity means she is the lead. " Crevan said his voice sounded thankful but it felt odd for him not to be able to find his own way to Sarah. Alister would put his hands behind his hand " Then May I suggest that you apologize to Hathwari?" Crevan hissed turning on him only to stop and Clear his throat." Of course. Forgive me Hathwari " He would say turning to her and bow. "I tend focus only on the goal. And not how to get there. *He would look to Felicity then back to Hathwari" She is not safe here. I would be sure that Felicity would not be so distraught if she was safe."
It was not that Crevan was a prideful man and would not bow to anyone, that was just how important Sarah was to him. If he was honest with anyone; even himself, she had brought a smile to his face again and light to his life. Even if how they met was because of his brother and her being a pet, it was what happened after she came into his care. His gruffness faded to a point that he could relax and smile again, " If she remains here she will be found. And then wed ...I can not allow that." Alister would look to him wondering if he saw something of his wife in her. Or if he cared for just Sarah.
He did tend think the worst though being the demon he was, " If you do not trust him I could go in his place" Alister said with a great smile placed on his face as he brought his hands forward and interlocked them for a moment. " He could just remain here " Crevan looked to Alister wondering what this demon was playing at. Seeing the seal started to deteriorate from his face told him that their seal was going to break between them. Meaning that Alister no longer had to listen to any one here, and could go and come as he pleased till banished.

"Do you not know what you have said?" Hathwari asked, incredulous. "Shall I remind you?" She had stepped forward, yet as Alister spoke with Crevan Felicity put a hand on her elbow.
"I don't want this. Sarah needs to get out of here quickly." This caused Hathwari to grunt disapprovingly before she caught wind of Alister's volunteering to go (to which she retorted, "I trust you even less, demon. You both are going, so as to keep my eyes on you.") "Please don't fight. But before Hathwari could give a heated response, Crevan's comment about Feicity leading had Hathwari laughing.
"The forest doesn't really ... have a fondness for me." A groan deep within the forest - a tree moving slightly - seemed to emphasize her statement. "It is possessive, like a jealous lover. And Foster was favored, considering he was the protector of it."
A burly man with thick eyebrows and smal tusks poking out from under his top lip shifted his iron-laced cub from one hand to the next as he and an imp-like female moved behind ALister and Crevan, then stepped forward so that they had no choice but to get closer to Felicity and Hathwari or fight their way from the box-like formation. "The little one is favored, too."
Another man, more beautiful than the hulk of a creature directly behind Crevan, shifted rather uncomfortably as he took up his position beside Alister. "You should pray to whatever you believe in they haven't found a bond. Otherwise no one would be able to leave."
"No one?" the imp-girl behind Alsiter asked in a squeaky voice.
"Well, Sarah wouldn't be able to leave. This means that the vampire and Felicity won't leave. Then Hathwari and the demon wouldn't leave because -"
"All right, all right. We get it." Little metal cuffs clinked against one another as the woman beside Crevan shook her head. She then took one braid nonchalantly and studied one such cuff, as if she couldn't care less about traveling with people in a place whose geography changes on a whim.
"Last time I had been near the hag's cave," Hathwari mused shortly after she started the march, "it was in the center of the forest. But it has changed since then."
"How did you even manage to send her there?" Felicity picked up her skirts, following just behind the woman looking as if she was ready for war. "A transporting gem?"
"Yes. I intended to take her to my home. But suddenly a picture of the hag overwhelmed my thoughts. It was irritating."
**
Day became evening. Though they haven't even gone a mile deep Felicity's eyes drooped like deadweight. She kept stumbling over sticks and rocks. Yet she shook her head and patted her cheeks roughly to keep herself awake.
No one slowed down the speed; at least not the iron-clad warriors. Felicity's family has her biological clocks set to faerie time - considering the sun and moon have minds of their own, Felicity would be diagnosed with a sleeping disorder in the mortal realm. It would seem as if she fell asleep at any given point of the day. To the halflings, this was normal.
Though truth be told, they weren't walking any faster either. Hathwari wasn't in a rush. She saw the affinity between the forrest and Sarah. She wouldn't say anything about it, but she wanted for Sarah to stay, and for Felictiy as well. If Sarah had a connection, she would be the protector instead of her, and Hathwari was more than willing to be relieved of her position. Felicity wouldn't live fearing the Seelie court or her family either. To her, it was a win-win sitiuation.
Not only that, but she wasn't sure where she was leading them. The hag usually found the people that sought her out, either personally or by other means. And she told the troupe that.
Hathwari ignored practically anything save for the hag's presence after that.
As Felicity tripped for the fourth time, a giggle interrupted from Crevan's loeft. No one except him would be able to hear it. It didn't go away if he ignored it either. Instead, the gigge was accompanied by a whisper.
"Master! Over here!" Yet the forest was bare. The surrounding trees harboured no culprits. No blonde-haired girl with dragon skin or otherwise.
"Master..."
