( Voss only I wasn't sure what to title this) It was a cool and breezy day at the SOBEA compound as all the heads and admins stood on the loading docks and awaited the arrival of two bus loads of non humans. Dr. Rutherford stood on the platform as well as he waited for the two buses to pull up with the newest batch of guinea pigs. He wore black slacks, a white shirt and a brown tie. His dark brown hair fell to his shoulders. He had an average build and currently stood in parade rest with his lab coat open. His crystal blue-green eyes watching everything closely. He hadn't changed much in the way of appearances thanks in part to the injections he had to keep taking. He'd recently adjusted the formula for the injection so that it was slowly moving away from using the wolf DNA to that of an alligator. During the transition between the two he was playing with his life more so than he originally was. The aging process would speed up forcing him to take more of the injections but soon he would be completely switched over. When he heard the laughter he was brought out from his thoughts and focused on what was unfolding before him. Every three years he would send his people out to do a sweep to bring in fresh blood for him to play with. As always the compound was fully energized and excitement filled the air as they await the buses arrival. They didn't have long to wait. Soon the buses were pulling in and people were filing out. They carried with them all of their belongings that they could carry. Dr. Rutherford watched them grim faced until Emmanuel cleared his throat to get the old man's attention. He sighed and plastered a fake smile on his face as the new arrivals got off the buses with such excitement. "Sir are you ready to start?" Tala asked showing a bit of worry as she looked at him. When he turned cold eyes on her she stiffened. She hadn't wanted to leave Inna but she had to do her job as his assistant. She was his personal property and has treated her as such since the day he had gotten his hands on her. Their relationship was all lovey dovey and hanky dory but she has a soft spot for him that was hard to explain. So when she knew that he wasn't at his best she worried. Hell even Emmanuel looked worried. Dr. Rutherford hadn't tried to do their usual back and forth whenever they were in each other's company and he wondered if the old man was getting sick or something but he soon dismissed that notion when he saw the scathing look he gave Tala. Emmanuel shook his head and looked at the group forming. "Come on old man, cook up the usual lie for the idiots and be done. I have shit to do unless you would rather go hunting for me? I would gladly trade places with you." Dr. Rutherford growled at him and addressed the group. As he spoke to them Tala stood primly by the doctor's side and listened as she looked over the group. She wore a white lab coat as well and underneath she wore a sleeveless red sweater shirt with beige dress pants and a pair of black flats. Her hair was in a bun and her glasses sat perched on her nose. She looked to Emmanuel who wore military attire; camouflage cargo bottoms, a forest green PT shirt and boots. He had his hair in loose locks and wore his "dog tags", something the doc started to initiate within the ranks of his admins and his heads. There was a chip embedded in the tags that tracked their movements not to mention the tags held their basic information. He was armed as always and stood almost arrogantly beside Dr. Rutherford as he spoke. "It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you all to SOBEA where second chances are truly possible. We will help you to better yourselves by providing education, medical coverage, food, shelter, and anything else you may need. My staff and I have set things up rather nicely for your comfort. Right behind me, inside is where registration will take place as well as vaccinations as a precaution. Once you've gone through all of the registrations, there is a catered lunch in the Dinning Hall that I'm sure you'll enjoy." He said with a big bright smile to his guests. "You're all welcome to look around with a guide of course, we don't want you to get lost." He said with a chuckle and they all started chuckling as well. "If you have any questions whatsoever, feel free to ask. We are here for all of you, so dont be afraid to be yourself. This is a safe place and all who work here are aware that you arent what you appear to be, so no worries. Now if you all would head inside, we can get the ball rolling and get you all settled in. Once again welcome to SOBEA and I hope you enjoy your stay." He said giving them a welcoming smile although his own words made him sick to his very stomach. He walked away with Tala and Emmanuel flanking him. He trusted things to go smoothly without him there. He would become acquainted with them soon enough, he didnt feel the need to stick around. It was always the same speech, the same fake smile and kindness. He knew that the act was necessary. It had proven time and time again that it worked this go round because things ran much more smoothly and his little experiments were less inclined to run away. As he was walking away Emmanuel received a message across his earpiece. He paused and listened then turned back around. "Yo, doc. I'm told there's a human in the mix. How you wanna play it?" He asked and lifted a brow. Dr. Rutherford stopped and turned around trying to catch a glimpse of who the human could possibly be. He shrugged. " Find her and keep an eye on her. We don't need an incident at the moment, catch her at the door before she goes inside and isolate her from the group, interrogate her and depending on her answers, kill her. I have no use for humans." He said and Emmanuel chuckled softly. "Glad to see you in a good mood." He said and Rutherford shot him a scathing look over his shoulder. Without saying another word he walked off. Tala stayed back a moment getting ready to say something when Dr. Rutherford growled at her. "Tala lets go!" She sighed and followed behind him. Emmanuel watched them for a moment before he turned back to the group and spoke into the earpiece. "Find the sheep and hoard her." He said and watched as two of his guys surreptitiously began to follow and flank a woman.

Rin had been out of Voss's area for a while now and felt she had made a mistake because they had not hunted her down. For sure now she could not return because he would kill her for leaving, she had come across a small family of shifters and offered to help them. She had merely done so to have some where to stay and keep clean and shower, she had no real things to experiment on them. All her lab equipment had been back at Voss's, she wondered what he had done with it. Her fingers gently rubbed the collar she held in her hand as she followed the herd of shifters, the family had said she should come and perhaps could get a job at this place considering it was close to her field. Though she noticed that she had been singled out and suddenly made the assumption she had made yet another mistake, her lab coat did make her stand out. Not to mention the smell of her was like Cherry blossom's. She had been trying to change her scent to nothing so that if she ever had to leave Voss would not be able to track her, but instead she smelled like a cherry blossom. It had been a failure but at least it wasn't something she couldn't stomach, she turned lowered her head when she knew that people were following her. She had not the courage to look some one in the face if they killed her, she didn't want to see their face in the afterlife of being the person that killed her.
Her lab coat had a few medical supply in them, she still had the syringe that she could either pump some one full of or her self. It would kill them in a matter of seconds and be very painful, she had thought about doing it to her self but then she would never make it to the afterlife. At least that is what she was told about suicide, though she would be with out a place to stay if they kicked her out. Or they could just possible dispose of her, one knew a snake in the grass when looking at one. She had played innocent till she met Voss and he told her to cut the shit, he saw past her mask of sweet smile and kind words. He was the first to call her out so she barely tried to hide it around him, she had to pull the mask over her face again when dealing with the family. Though she had grown attached to the young girl who she had used to get in their graces, considering the child was sick with something she had yet to pin point. Though she could diagnose things and practice medicine she was not interested in it, she preferred to work solely on genetics and the manipulation of such. By the starting speech she figured this place would be right up her alley, though she tended to only look out for herself she did have a fondness of the shifters. She preferred them to humans at any rate, the loyalty was stronger then between humans if they felt you deserved it.
With humans money could be the deciding factor in weather or not you were left for dead, a pack of were wolves was more likely no matter the money given stick together if their leader was strong and capable to protect their lands. Much like normal wolves they marked territory and would claim a mate, though it seemed that like humans were wolves chose to change there mate some times. She liked how a wolf would mate for life, secretly she was a romantic about such things. Rin had wished she would of found the Yakuza thugs it would of been easier. She noticed that she was being watched by more then just two and it made her stop in her tracks, she would wait for what ever was going to happen and react accordingly.

(I know this post sucks but bear with me lol )
Emmanuel noticed the woman who stopped, no doubt catching wind that she had been caught. He chuckled and touched his earpiece. "Bring her in guys and dont make a scene. The old man would be royally pissed if anything ruined this batch of blood." He said and stood by the door. He made a show of watching over those that went through the doors smiling here and there an dwelcoming a few. They seemed genuinely happy as if the old man had brought them of some very shitty circumstances and was some type of blessing. If only they knew the real reason they were there.
It sort of angered him that they were so gullable and blind, but the old man did keep to his word. He would supply them with all they needed, as long as they were his guinea pigs. Everything had a catch, a tit for tat, nothing was free and the old man lived by that. Emmanuel watched as the enforcers began to zero in on the woman and herd her.
~ A tall broad shouldered man with sunkissed skin and green eyes, walked up to the woman. He had a buzz cut and wore what resembled a police uniform. "Ma'am, can you come with me please?" He said respectfully as his comrads made a perimeter within the crowd should she decide to make a run for it, though only a few could be identified as enforcers while the others where hidden among the new batch of people.
If she agreed to go with him then he would take her to Emmanuel. If she didnt, he would ask her one more time before doing what was deemed necessary to force her compliance.

( It is fine XD)
Rin would slowly look up at the tall broad shouldered man seeing his complication she took him full view before blinking. " Sure, did I do something wrong? " She stated loud enough for the rest to hear her. But she remained calm as she waited to follow him, her white coat didn't really look so white any more. It looked as if it had been washed several times but not in a washing machine, like it had been washed on rocks in the dirty river. Rin went back to her moments in Ishikawa before her father had moved taking her with him, her mothers families farm where they lived like peasants.
Her father commuted between his work and home some time staying days away, her mother had always been sickly but when she took a turn for worse and refused help. Well she died leaving father to pick up and move to the city, selling land helped fit a place and fund a showing before the military. She briefly smiled before turning her attention back the present." Please lead the way " She said softly as she shoved her hands back into her pockets. Keeping her head down she follow the man where ever he was going to lead her. The panic in her was welling up she had no idea what they were going to do to her, though she did have a good idea of what they might do once she was out of the sight of every one.

He gave an imperceptible nod to his comrades to let them know that she would comply, at least for now anyways. “No ma’am, my boss would simply like a word with you.” He said respectfully as he ignored her loud voice. He waited for her reply and merely nodded in response to it. The maneuvered through the crowd and he took her to Emmanuel.
Emmanuel grinned at her. “Well hello and welcome to SOBEA. How’d you like the old man’s speech?” He asked and continued talking after a moment. “ You know after hearing it so many times it gets pretty irritating and tiring.” He said and motioned for her to follow him with her escort bringing up the rear. “For an old man, he has pretty sharp eyes and ears when he wants to use them. No doubt a result of his…anyway.” He said cutting himself off. “He wants me to check you out. Its not everyday that we get humans in our sweeps, that causes problems. But seeing as you’re here now, what do you think of the place?” He asked as they rounded a corner and three more enforcers who were heavily armed stood guard by a vehicle.
“Come it’s a long walk to where we’re going. Get in.” He said and moved to get into the driver seat. He’d wait for everyone to get in before he sped off. He needed to get her to their holding facility and naturally that was in the enforcer sector. Of course it was a bit of a walk but it seemed to be a blink of an eye with the way Emmanuel drove. He needed to see she had any ulterior motives and if not , how they could make good use of her. Either way it was his responsibility to take care of her but it was up to her as to how that would go down. He was never in a rush to get work done, feeling that as long as it gets done then it’ll be fine, but he had a feeling that in this instance that philosophy wouldn’t fly and the doc would have his balls.

( let me know if I need to change anything)
She followed him but became nervous as the others come up beside her, she remained silent for a brief moment before letting out a little sigh. More of a letting out of breath she had been holding. " Well, it sounded rehearsed a little" She had to admit. " You mean genetic manipulation? " She seemed to brighten at the prospect. " I never thought of well using it on a human before. Though I have changed many DNA sequences and genetic codes for shifters. My last client was a grateful test subject." She said softly. She only then wondered if she had said too much as she slowly slipped into the car. She felt tiny surrounded by them, and then the doubt of making what might be her last mistake ever. She kind of wished she would have remained with Voss, at least she knew what he would do. Now was just a guessing game.
The way he drives she ended up gripping one of the guards tightly by the arm and gritting her teeth. She thought her heart was going to leap out her mouth with how fast it was beating. " So, I take it your research is very hush hush. And no one ever leaves once they arrive?" She assumed with how things were going. She remembered about how they had handled her father's laboratory. " My Father's project left none of the subjects alive. According to the report, ...well except a mother and her pups. " She mumbled slightly as if talking to herself as she watched out the window.
" So where are we going?" She asked her voice had a hint of fear in it. Though no real fear seeped from her, her eyes focused on the rearview mirror to see if she could catch a glimpse of his eyes. Maybe see if he would lie to her, she sat very still between them.

(no worries youre fine)
Emmanuel had caught the change in her tone when she spoke of genetic manipulation. THat alone told him that she would be of use to the old man which meant another pain in the ass for him. He was curious though as to her take on shifters. She didnt seem as if she detested them, so that may be her saving grace. He coudnt tell her about the Doc's experiment on himself. if she was really interested, she'd have to ask the man himself.
Everyone was used to Emmanuel's driving by now but it confused some people . Emmanuel would drive like a bat out of hell to get to where he was going but always took his time getting certain assignments done. One of the guards chuckled softly when she grabbed his arm. sparing her glances in the rearview mirror Emmanuel grinned be fore turning back to the road.
"Yea the old man only wants you in his business if he brings you into it. YOu wouldnt believe how many people go missing because they tried to get info about this place but on the bright side, its not too hard to dispose of the bodies. We have a few feral shifters who likes the taste of human flesh." he said with a chuckle and glanced in the rearview and caught her gaze. "We are going to a place where no one can hear your screams." He said as he watched her a moment before turning back to the road.
They were going to the detainment center. The walls were sound proof and the and the glas was indestructible. The old man had paid a millions to have it installed. Hell the glass alone for the entire compound was an arm and a leg and a few precious experiments paid to the Japanese. Emmanuel sighed. He would simply question her to see where her head was at. Dr. Rutherford didnt give a rats ass how someone felt about the shifters or his work as long as they did their jobs and and didnt interfere with his experiments.
They drove by a few enclosures that held different experiments and shifter types, many of whom were in their animal forms. They enjoyed the freedom to wear their animal skin and not worry about being persecuted because of it. Emmanuel whipped around a corner and sped up even more. It was a straight shot to the center. "Earlier you spoke of and experiment and a lab, not to mention your interest in genetic manipulation, I guess that means youre a scientist." He said. He kinda figured as must from her lab coat but it wouldnt take much for some random person to get one also. BUt her interest in the science is what confirmed it.
"What typ of shifter was your experiment or, as you called it, your client ?"He asked trying to make conversation and gleam information. when the large building came into view it looked daunting and depressing. It also resembled a jailhouse forttress. There was a large electrical fence with bobbed wire on the top. THere were watchtowers throughout the area and men could be seen walking along with weapons.
As Emmanuel neared, he laid into the horn until the gate was opened by the time he reached it. he pulled up to the parking lot and parked. "alright get your asses out of my car." He said only half joking.

The woman sat still her hand gripping tighter on the man's arm briefly, the grip only lighten seconds later before a small smile breached her lips. A slight sinister laugh came from the slip of a woman before she looked into the mirror again. " Good would not want to blow your whole operation. It would be a shame for your test subjects to see what this place really is before entering it. " Her eyes stayed locked on Emmanuel for a moment, they hardened a little. " But I am guessing you are just muscle. Not a scientist? Though I have been wrong before.." She trailed off slightly eyes focusing out the window again. She watched as the buildings zipped by.
When she focused her eyes back to the review to catch him watching her reaction to his most likely real words. Not just a mere threat, yet she showed now fear but a faint smile. When he let out a sigh the smile faded, he spoke to her again this time a short laugh escaped her. " My Client was a lycanthrope, he was unique in the fact that he enjoyed changing parts of himself. It is rare to find someone willing to undergo spinal injections." Her demeanor had not changed, she was not about to beg for her life from someone that had no say in the matter of her death.
She waited to exit the car after the security, she took her time to straighten out her rumpled lab coat. Her eyes focused on the surroundings for a split second, her nose sniffed the air taking in the scents. Her genetic Hyperosmia gave her an edge a normal human would not have. "Hmm, well whenever you are ready. "

Emmanuel laughed. “Yea, it would be but once they get on that bus. There is no escaping. Catering to them ,even a little just seems to be more conducive to experimentation.” He began to sober up just a bit as he held her gaze in the mirror.
“I am definitely not a scientist.” he chuckled. “I am the Head muscle in these parts. I have more sway with the Doc then the rest of these clowns in this place.” He said with a small smile. “With that being said, I am your judge and jury in regards to whether you live or die.” He liked that she wasnt a bucket of water and begging for her life.Dr. Rutherford had given him permission to kill her if he felt like she didnt have any real value, but surprisingly he felt she did. He was glad she didnt beg, if she would have, he was sure he wouldve taken her out back and killed her. The fact that she was rather calm and holding a conversation with him made him think that she was the silent and calculative type.
He listened to her speak about her client and smiled, though he was curious about the woman. “Many people would jump at chance to do it, if they felt that it would help them in some way.” he said softly and got out of the car. He stretched lazily and waved a hand at one of his guys as they headed out to their own vehicle. He turned his attention back to the doctor. “Well lets go.” He said and waved his hand for her to follow him while two of the others brought up the rear.
The building was made of brick, though the closer you got to the door you could see deep grooves in the walls that came from someone trying to escape. There was also bloodstains splattered on the walls and deep grooves in the concrete. Emmanuel had said a few hellos as they walked through the heavy door down a long corridor then took a left and walked up a flight of stairs. There was a reception area for incoming people and it had solid steel doors at intervals throughout the corridor which was lined with cells. The doors had Penetration-resistant toughened glass window with a cover plate and magnetic locking, food hatch, lock with a stainless steel door-friendly cover, which combines all the important locking elements. They also had additional security via sliding bolts as quick-locking devices.automatic opening from the inside via a pushbutton and from the outside via a key-operated switch.
Animalistic snarls and growls could be heard all along the wide corridor. They were mixed in with the cries and screams of humans who were also mixed in. “Excuse the noise.” Emmanuel said over his shoulder. “These folks are a mix. Human, shifter, experiments, troublemakers, etc. i havent gotten around to sorting them out.” he said with a shrug.
Soon he stopped ata door on the right hand side. He pulled a his dog tags from around his shirt and pressed it against the scanner and there was an audible click as the door unlocked. He stepped aside and allowed for the Doc to walk inside where she would find a table in the middle of the room with four chairs, two on each side. Inside stood a woman in a security guard uniform. She was human and was there to do a pat down of the woman they were escorting. Over in the left corner there were circles made of two on the floor and two on there wall.
“Go ahead over there and she’ll pat you down real quick before we get started. This shouldnt take us too long to do. I quite frankly think that you may have potential to work here. You have experience but eh, we’ll see.” He said and waited for her to go inside before following suit and closing the door behind him.

Rin getting out of the car would adjust her lab coat it being dirt covered, she seemed she had been homeless for a spell. But she treated her self as if she hadn't looked like a vagrant, her steps were quick after Emmanuel into the brick building. Her hands would slip into her coat her delicate fingers touched the Syringes that was full of what she had been injecting Voss with. Her scuffed heels clacked on the concrete in the entrance area, changing to tiled flooring, her eyes would dart around the cell doors. The confinement doors being thick steel with a feed slot that some hung open on, she could hear the growling coming from some. She had come to a stop the sound of her heels silenced hearing a human, she wondered if the human was here for experimenting or if it had been swept up like her. Her mind wandered to what she could do with both specimens of animal and human, though it all depended on what they wanted yet things were endless. She had a mind to work on extending her life while she was here, that was if they even allowed her that.
She was pulled from her thoughts with a snarl behind her, she wasn't startled just awakened from her inner mind. She would look the door up and down before following on, the sound of her shoes once again echoing off the tile. Her steps were slower in pace though seeing him waiting by a door that she couldn't see the face of yet. Her head would tilt a little watching him, her eyes looking him over calculating his muscle mass in human standards. She would then try to extrapolate the force he would have to know that he was a shifter, each animal might have a different power behind them. Listening to him from a distance she was closing in she would pause again, lifting a brow hearing him say he wanted her in the cell. She truly thought this was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard.
She let out a sigh looking him over once more debating on going into the cell, her first thought was against it. Knowing that it could end in several ways most of them being the end of her life. " No need for the pat down." She would start to empty her pockets once she had stepped inside and to the table. A syringe and a journal with several post notes hanging out the sides, it tied with a strap of leather over the sides. Her other pocket held scalpel's along with hemostat's covered in blood, she would take off her jacket and put her hands out and spread her legs. " But you are more than welcome to," She said softly. The only weapon she had was the scalpels. She would close her eyes trying to listen to the noises that were muffled by the thick walls of steel and concrete, she could barely hear them unlike when she had been in the hall.
When the door closed behind her it gave a chill go up the ridge of her spine, the nervousness was for the only thing sitting on the table that was of value to her. The noises of animals and humans was now barely a hum behind the walls, the shifters did not really scare her. Well, except for maybe Voss, when it came to him she saw the ruthlessness of a human with the execution of a shifter. Here they were locked away behind walls that could be difficult to get through to what they may consider prey. Though Emmanuel was a specimen she would not mind experimenting on, this thought made her lip curl into a smile.

Emmanuel watched as the Doc emptied her pockets and couldnt help but chuckle as he went over to the table and took a seat. “Aww but she likes the free feel up.” He said and the woman glared at him as she did her job and patted the woman down. Emmanuel was taking a look at the instruments. The scent wafting from the item made his want to scrunch up his nose, but he didnt dare show any sign that his senses were stronger than that of a human. There were very few shifters in employ at SOBEA and it was kept strictly underwraps.
The folks that worked for Dr. Rutherford truly disliked shifters to a point that boardlined hatred. It could become problematic if they were found out.Once the security guard was done with her pat down she would step off to the side to get a container from a cabinet so that the confiscated items could be contained. She handed the container to Emmanuel, along with a pair of gloves.
Emmanuel reached out and put on the gloves and before he picked up what looked like a journal. He eyed the instruments once more before untying and opening the book. “So Doc, tell me, whats up with the bloody instruments? Were you operating on something before the sweep? Why would you hold onto them? What’s in the syringes? ” He nudged the syringes with the spine of the journal.
“Does this journal hold the notes for your past experiments? Aside from the experiment that you have told me about, what other experiments have you had your hands in?” He asked looking over at her. “Feel free to answer those question in any order you like. Just dont try to lie, believe me I will know if you do.” He said staring at her unblinking.
Soon he was sitting back in the chair and placing the items in the container though he motioned for the guard to bring a different container for the journal. He didnt want the contents of the syringes destroying the contents of the journal. He figured Rutherford would want to take a look at that himself. He personally couldnt have cared less. “Talk to me Doc.” He prompted.

When the woman slid her hands over her body she watched her, a small smile curled across her lips before she licked them. " I do not mind it at all. " She said softly. Once the woman was done she would shift to move to a more comfortable stance. When he began to ask many questions she would wait till he fell silent to answer them." Yes, to your second question." She would clear her throat lightly. " I can not remember if it was the bullet I had removed or a small tumor. People are poor where I was working. Some homeless. " She frowned a little when she was trying to think about what to answer about his last few questions. " Well, the book carries all the blueprints to a virus. Which is currently in the syringe you are holding." She eyed him carefully. " Careful to not contaminate it with your blood. I would have to start from scratch. " Looked to the human that was with them. " I am sure no one here wants to be infected with it if your human. " She stretched a little. " It would melt your skin causing boils and make your brain matter disintegrate. Most likely with your spine along with it. Do not know the order in which it might happen. "
She shifted a little watching his thumb through her journal, which she only admitted to her self made her blood boil. If she didn't think that he would rip her face off she would have snatched it from him already. Though she felt his way she merely smiled" Oh there are many besides what I have told you. Many deals with theoretical things that this human would not understand. " She was human herself and she had yet to pick something else to be. Everything she had researched so far had only a longer life, not immortality. " As for instance, I could enhance the energy of one's body so the stress of running on the heart and lungs would be a lesson. It would be as if you were walking. " She sighed softly setting her fingertips on the table tapping it a little. " I only work with shifters. Humans are useless to me, they are not worth my projects. " She looked to the woman and smiled" It would be to easy to enhance them. Shifters are more fun and challenging. " letting out a sigh. " So if I am not of use let me leave. Or kill me. I am not a patient woman. And every second spent here is a waste of my time without a subject to work on. "
She knew enough to be a problem if they were to let her leave, she knew they would send someone to kill her to make it look like an accident. She really did think this little exchange was a waste, her need to hide the lack of humanity in her seemed to drop now. " Though I would say Emanual I would enjoy working on your lovely model." She said with a wicked smile. " Well don't you agree ?" She said to the human woman. " Him trying to hide little mannerisms to seem normal. I am still having trouble pinpoint on what he is though. Can you tell me?"

The guard blushed and cleared her throat as she went about her business.Emmanuel simply watched the two and watched as the Doc sat down. He didn’t spare the guard a look as she brought another container for the journal to go in. He listened to her speak and raised a brow at her when she mention the reaction humans would have to the virus. He caught the guard’s reaction and saw how pale she had gotten. He was hard pressed not to laugh knowing that he wouldn’t have to worry about that.
“Uhm… no…” The guard said hesitantly as the color drained from her face.
“Doc, now why you wanna go and scare her like that for?” He asked with a chuckle before he settled down and continued to listen to her. “That sounds like some shit that’s right up Dr. Rutherford’s alley.” He said with a little disdain and a sigh. He gave her a level glance when she told him to kill her or let her go.
“I would kill you but then what fun would that be? You’re a toy for the doc,so we can’t get rid of you just yet. You have potential and you’re smart. He’ll want to make good use of you.” He said and lifted his brow at her. “And dead is the only way that you would leave here, though even dead the good doc will make good use of you.” He said and shrugged. “I don’t like to rush and do things.
When she spoke his name, he eyed her with narrowed eyes knowing that she was up to something. He didn’t even spare a glance at the guard when the Doc began speaking again.
“Uhm..” The guard said hesitantly and Emmanuel bit back a growl. The woman shouldnt be responding to a captive, they are likely to say or do anything. He caught her movements in his periphery. When she looked at him with uncertainty and her fingers twitched, Emmanuel sighed and sat back comfortably in his seat as he watched the Doc.
“Seriously? You’re trying to say I’m a shifter?” He said trying to brush off the accusation. He gave her a droll look. He spoke to the guard without looking at her.
“Are you so weak minded that you would believe the words of a captive?” He said in irritation. “I’m pretty sure although this Doc wont touch you with a ten foot pole Dr. Rutherford has no such qualms about it.”
The guard stiffened and obviously didn’t like the threat. Well too fucking bad. He didn’t like useless people that were so easily swayed. They were a danger to security and he couldn’t have that. Once the Doc was dealt with, she was next. “Hmm, maybe some solitary confinement would be a suitable punishment for try to play your jedi mind tricks. Though I admit, it doesn’t take much to play with a weak mind.” He said.

Rin would arch her back as she slid off the doctor's coat, pulling it from behind her she would hang it on the chair. " What would I gain from trying to confuse here. She is a drone. Someone who follows's orders from another. " She leaned on the desk running her fingers along it like a spider. " But you." She smiled pointing a finger at him. " Well, you do take orders just not from someone as low as her. " She slowly pulled a pin from her hair setting it on the table, throwing her head forward and quickly running her fingers through her hair she would then throw her hair back.
It flowing down past her shoulders now, " I mean she is horrible at her job. Did not think to take my pen either, with a very good thrust in certain places I could paralyze at last one of you. " She leaned back hanging her arm over the back of the chair as she pulled up her leg. " I would have chosen you to paralyze. You're a threat. " She would wink at him before she would let out a chuckle sounding playing. She slowly licked her lips briefly before she would come out of that kind of playfulness. " And it is not because you're a male. See if you were a human I could kill you easy. No its because you are something more. " She looked back at the guard. " Can't you smell that faint animal smell? And you can not tell me it is because he hangs out with them all the time. No its ....something distinct I can't put my finger on. " She laughed crossing her leg slowly.
" Oh? Kill me? " She laughed as if it was a funny thought. " I would not be here if I thought that was an option. You think I am here because its random?" Now she was playing a little with this. She had never heard of this place, but she did realize they were picking up people no one would really miss. And she knew them as shifters. There were only a few things could be happening with that. Genocide is one of them. Another is general experimentation. Another is more focused, but what could that be. And surely it's not just for profit," She would look around the room a little before smiling." And you have government funding." She would flick something off the table looking back at the human. " If this was all personal wealth this Dr. Rutherford would be in the papers. I have yet to hear about him. "
Her hand played with the table a little her nails were pointed and thick having what seemed to be a metal design on the end of them. She stared at Emmanuel for a moment her fingernails still tacking on the table, She would lean forward on the table a little and lick her lips slowly. It was a quick movement for a human the way she reached out with her sharp metal-tipped fingernails slicing to slice his face open with them. She would kick back hitting the chair throwing it upwards into the guard's face. She would bring her arm up slamming her palm into neck slicing across his face region where his eyes are.

He listened to the Doc speak and a bit of soft warning growl rumbled from him. He watched her with a brief passing hunger as she let her hair down and placed the pin on the table. It was minute but his growling had gotten a little louder. He should have known that the woman was going to be trouble. It seemed, in his experience anyway, that all medical personnel had some fucked up psyches. She seemed innocent enough. He licked his lips as her scent wafted to him and enveloped him. It hit his nose and caused his eyes to dilate. Her scent was different from the others, it was like fresh flowers and blood. Oddly it made him hungry.
He ground his teeth and clenched his jaw. “Are you done?” He asked and folded his arms over his chest. He could sit here and play with her but she was just as problematic as the rest. He knew she would fit right with the rest of the sick fucks in there. At her next words he actually chuckled. “Darlin’ if we wanted you dead, you definitely would be regardless of the reason you “chose” to come. I’d dont too much care for the reasoning. In this place that type of thing is pointless. Half of this shit dont make sense no how.” He muttered that last part to himself in irritation.
He looked her over and lifted a brow. “You come to a lot of conclusions in that head of yours. You’re just like the old man.” He said and shook his head almost sadly. “He was in the papers multiple times for some bullshit or another but yeah it’s not too often that it happens. See the Doc dont care to be in the public eye, it takes him away from what he really wants to do and that fuck with other people’s lives.” He said dryly.
It was a good thing that he kept his eyes on her because sure enough she tried something. He would have sighed if he hadnt had to quickly grab a hold of her wrist to keep her from striking his face. The movement was was quicker than that of a human. His response was reflexive and made his blood pump.
His eyes had gone full on feline as he snarled at her before his grip turned crushing and he yanking her from where she stood and reached for her other hand so that he could pin her to the table. He glared at her with pure male fury as he bared her fangs at her. “IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?!” He demanded and applied even more pressure on her wrist. His hair was like a curtain as he leaned over her.
The need to rip her apart was so strong as he glared ather gnashing his teeth together trying to keep from completely shifting. There was no hiding the growl that sounded like the engine of a car. He snarled then went completely still at the sound of a gun clicking.
The guard hadn’t been expecting for the metal chair to come flying at her face. She was so wrapped up in what the woman had been saying she had been caught unaware. Her first instinct was to bring her arms up to shield her face. The force of the had knocked her backwards and she felt a snap before excruciating pain in her left arm from the impact. “Fuck!” She cursed and started forward towards the two at the interrogation table but she soon stopped in her tracks.
Her heart stopped and she could taste the fear on her tongue as she heard the animalistic sounds coming from Emmanuel as well as his quick movements. Humans didnt make those sounds.Humans didnt move like that. She was scared for the woman that he had in his grasp. He sounded like he was about to rip her apart. Fear wafted from her in waves. “She was telling the truth...Y...you’re one of them. One of those….things.” She said and grabbed her gun and cocked it. She aimed it at Emmanuel hoping to give the woman a chance to get away from him.
When he went stock still and slowly turned to look at her she damn near shit herself. She was looking into the eyes of an animal that wanted nothing than to destroy her. HE roared and she nearly dropped her gun. When he turned back to the Doc he bared his fangs at her. “You’re just like that bastard.” He snarled in disgust and flung her away from him.
“So what you’re going to shoot me now? Huh? Go ahead! I’ve had worse!” He said and mock lunged at the guard. She jumped and let off a shot that caught him in his shoulder. “You actually shot me.” He said in slight amusement. When he kept advancing he emptied her gun in his gut and chest. He was covered in blood and holes. The guard looked terrified as she hurriedly tried to get away. She cast a quick glance to the woman on the floor. They were both trapped in the room with a beast.
All amusement was gone when the sweet scent of fear beckoned to him. He could sense her pain and that pushed him closer to his shift, yethe held it at bay. She went to reach for her blade and in one swift motion he disarmed her and had her own knife at her throat. He ignored the screaming and the cries and pleading. This was his playground this was his piece of territory and her cries wouldnt leave the room. “Let me hear you sing.” He whispered roughly in her ear as he stared directly at the Doc.
He dug the knife into to woman’s throat and she began weeping and begging even more. He ignored her as his sole focus was on the doc. “Do you really care so little for your fellow humans?” He asked her derisively. The need to rip into flesh hitting him in waves.
~*~ <in the surveillance room>
“Looks like he’s Losing his shit.” Came a gruff males voice as he watched the monitor that measured the body’s vitals and Emmanuel’s were heading into the red zone.
“Didnt he have that woman in there with him?” another man asked.
“You mean the one they picked up in the sweep?”
“Yea.”
“Yup. you think he fucking her right now?”
“Nah, his readings would go up like that believe me, I had to monitor him when he was breeding. Not gonna lie, I was jealous as fuck. The chicks he was so hitting was sexy as fuck, its a shame that they are disgusting animals.”
“Get your mind off his dick man.”
“My bad.” laughs sheepishly.
“No, but what I am saying is that the fucker is in orange and heading for red. You know what that means right?”
“Hell, yeah. We get to smoke his ass!”
Tala was on her way to Dr.Rutherford’s office when she heard the conversation. She wanted to kill them both but more importantly she wanted to hang Emmanuel for getting so worked up. Unable to just let their behavior slide, she stepped into the room and glared at them.
“Just so you know neither one of you have the authority to do anything to him. Even if he did go into the red it wouldnt be you who would flip his switch. Maybe I should mention to Dr. Rutherford how eager you are to kill one of his prized possessions and head of security.” She said and adjusted her her glasses on her nose. She hated humans like them. They were better off dead so that they couldnt spread their poison to others. “Now get back to work. Looks like a bear is trying to leave it’s enclosure. I’d hate to be you if something happened to Dr.Rutherford’s test subjects.” She said and she could see their stricken looks as they went back to doing their jobs properly.
She and Emmanuel may not see eye to eye but she wasnt going to let assholes like them try to kill him.She left the room with a growl as she gathered her paperworkin her hands and continued down to Dr.Rutherford’s office.
