I look upon the edge of the forest and smile to myself, taking in the fomalier site before me. It had been a long time,a really long time. Taking a wif of the cool air, I step into the forest and let the memories of this place come back.
It had been many many years, and now to be back, it felt like a dream. However I had to wonder how the pack would take this.
Deciding it was not worth putting off, I sit back, brace myself on my back legs and let out a long houl, a call, calling whoever might be close.
The tone of the pitch was high with excitment. I was indeed happy to be back, happy to be back home, well, that is if I was still seen as a friend here.

They were strolling through the territory, silent and watching the land all around them, their stride almost lazy due to the fact that they were in no hurry. They were patrolling the area, they didn't need to seeing as how the New Dawn paid a bunch of rogues called the Outsiders to do that task, but even so, the Black's did it anyway. And they enjoyed doing it, especially Ventia.
Ventia didn't have that much time to go out and do some ground work in the pack, between managing the bar and taking on the brunt of the Beta work which was supposed to be divided into two Beta's but was sorely settled on her hands-well it was hard to find some time to go out and patrol. But she had finished all the reports she had on her desk early today and she didn't need to go to the bar until around seven in the afternoon, which meant that she had a few hours to herself.
Not that she minded the duties of both pack and business. She loved her pack, she was loyal and fiercely protective over everyone whom was a part of the family, and likewise, she loved her bar as well. She didn't mind work, it was easy enough and Ventia was very good at what she did. But all in all, it was nice to go out and get some sunshine. Which was why when her son asked if they could patrol around, Ventia happily obliged.
But then, she knew something was up with Jareth. He barely ever asked to take a round around the territory. He wanted to talk. So Ventia waited patiently, walking lazily and easy around the terriain. It wasn't long before her son finally paid up.
"Mom?"
"Hmm." Ventia continued looking out at the trees beyond them, feeling Jareth's stare on her but not looking, knowing that if she did, he'd probably close up again.
"Remember when I got hurt a little back?" Jareth's voice was slightly hesitant, as if unsure if he should continue.
"Yes I remember, please be more careful in the future by the way."
That caused him to laugh, "I will Mom. Well, I met someone there." His voice seemed to sigh as if he finally got through the worst of something. That was Ventia's cue to turn and stare at him.
She was clearly surprised, had sort of accepted the fact that Jareth wasn't interested in relationships. Now that he was telling her that he met someone? Well, it was big. Especialy for Jareth-for a man who didn't like telling someone else (even his mother) about his feelings and was now telling her about a certain someone...well that someone must have altered his thoughts about the future. Ventia couldn't be more happy.
"Oh yes? Boy or female?"
"Female." He frowned a bit at her at the suggestion of the someone being of the same gender.
"I'm bisexual, I wouldn't care if you were as well."
"Afraid not Mom. She's a wolf whom thinks that she's one of the kind-that theres no one else like her. I tried explaining that there was but she was pretty reluctant to accept and I think she's my-" a howl pierced the air and both Black's whipped their head to the direction it had come from.
"Ally?" Jareth asked, his voice now low, his silver eyes darkening.
"No." Ventia knew every packmate's howl, growl, whine, and so on. This? Wasn't one of her packmates. Jareth should have known it as well but the boy has been away on tour for most of the time. Ventia would have to deal with that later, for now? She had to deal with the howl. So she ran. She was irritated at the newcomer for disrupting a important conversation with her son which made her run faster, Jareth only a few feet behind.
It didn't take long to reach the wolf, they were after all patrolling the area and they had been close towards eastern area. Ventia eased to a stop, just a few meters from the wolf. Her breath eased out as she stared at the wolf, something about the wolf was strangely familiar. That in itself, Ventia didn't like. Then again, Ventia was a complex person.
She racked her brain at the sight of him, feeling Jareth by her side now and the fierce vow to protect his pack against the stranger. Ventia held out a hand, stopping Jareth in his tracks as a memory flooded her brain. At once, she finally recognized the stranger.
"James?"
He had been a acquaintance. Most members wouldn't remember him at all for he was in the pack for such a little time, towards the beginning, and kept to himself. Ventia only knew because she had been the Beta since the beginning and she had a amazing memory-not to mention the fact that she and James had at one moment, been very close.

James perked his ears up at the sound of feet running through the woods. Company? Well, that was a welcoming sound. Maybe. Sitting down, James took on the sight of not just one but two wolves who had come to answer his call. One, looked familiar but was not quite sure what her name was. even pondering it he was clueless. it had been years after all. Too many years. shifting back to a human form, I raise my hands a bit, meaning to show I meant no harm.
"That would depend, who's asking?" James sniffed, trying to catch any sent that might remind him but he was still puzzled. the pup was new, for sure. he didn't know its sent at all. A bit wary, James takes a step back. last thing he wanted was to stumble on the wrong crowd.

Ventia watched as he shifted out of his wolf form, easing her hand down feeling it was safe since she knew Jareth wouldn't try to charge the man. At least, not unless he had a motive to. Ventia knew that if she would tell her son to contain him, Jareth would without hesitation. For now? He was at bay.
Ventia's eyebrow rose, a signature feature that showed everyone that she was either annoyed, surprised, or plain angry. She was annoyed at the moment, with the way James spoke. The only reason why she wasn't going to shoot him with the gun rested on her hip was for the fact that she knew him and although it was for a extremely short time, he had been a member. Still, it was such a short time that he should be considered a rogue but still. It was because of this that Ventia didn't handle him the way she handled every other rogue she met.
Her arms crossed against her chest, dark grey eyes igniting with silver swirls. "You're on Pack Territory-you have no authorization here." She narrowed her gaze at him, slowly staring at him from his head to his feet. If her memory served right, and it usually always did, it was James. It didn't hurt her that he didn't remember her, most people didn't remember things after a decade or two. It had been more than a decade-closer to twenty years since she had seen this man's face.
"Why are you back? Its been more than fifteen years since you've been around here. Thing's have changed, James." She placed one hand against the holster on her hip, her fingers curling around the handle of the gun. She didn't pull it out which was a lot for Ventia, after all she was known to shoot first and ask questions later.
"Ventia Black, since your memory doesn't seem to serve you. Now, what are you doing here?"

The hostile attitude made James a bit un-settled. He knew coming back here was...dangerous. To say in the least he also knew it was likely some here would prefer to just kill him and not deal with the trouble. However, it was not like there was a neighboring back that liked him any more then this one, though he quite liked this one himself. Raising his hands a bit more in notion of his surrender, James backed against a tree but was ready to move if he had to.
"Ventia? The Beta?! Wait your still Beta right?" fifteen long years indeed ad his memory of this place was still rusty. Dos not help that you live fifteen years running for your dear life. "And, I don't quite have a legit million dolor reason. Though, it would be nice to have a home again, rather than sleeping in a sewer every night. Can we talk about this a wee bit latter though...there are some not so friendly folks on my tail. Hunters...yea know the kind who like to make pelts of our kinds hides..."
I looked back towards the edge of the forest, a bit curious if those pesky humans had caught up with me. "I tried to lead them astray but they caught wind of my tricks to cover my tracks." Not my fault, for sure that was not my fault. My so called vamp friend decided he would sell me out for personal profit. And people tell me I'm an ass.
"So can we solve this issue and then go back to pointing that thing at me?" James tried to not look too innocent in this but really the hunters were not his fault! Mostly...

This interaction was a reason why Ventia preferred to shoot someone that wasn't pack on the spot and then drag them to either the Infirmary or the prison (depending on her mood that day) and then talking with them. She didn't know why but her annoyance was just increased hearing him talk. It had nothing to do with him, it was more because Ventia had no patience to hear someone out and then explain to them that frankly? She didn't give two shits. Her fingers flexed for her gun but her fingers stayed where they were. "Yes," Fifteen years were indeed long. For humans. But for shifters? Not so much. It was still long but her body had stopped aging for a long minute now. She was still in her prime and could deal with a rogue as well as the newcomers. "No." The word snapped out of her lips, grey eyes locking on James. "You're a rogue. For all I know, you've come back just to eliminate the new Alpha in charge." She doubted it, but it was a option. His words caused a wide smile to breech her face. Hunters. Ventia felt a excited sizzle go down her spine. The prospect of a future kill made her as excited as a newborn pup. The worry in his voice made her annoyed once again. She tsked loudly, "First you come on pack ground. Now you claim you have a bounty on your head and you've lead human hunters to our pack." She wasn't worried about hunters. Werewolves were a hard bunch to harm. Silver and Wolfsbane were the common ways to seriously injure a wolf but Ventia had build a immunity to both and so had her son. A bastard had tortured her while she had been pregnant and the immunity she had passed on to her son. Her daughter was highly allergic and her other daughter, now lost, well Ventia didn't know if it effected her. But Jareth was completely immune and so was she. So if the dumb humans dared to pass the New Dawn boundary, Ventia had all right to slaughter them. Then again, Azalea might not like to have to deal with more paperwork. God knew, Ventia didn't want to. But she'd be smiling while doing that paperwork because she had been able to sink her claws into flesh. Was worth it. "Listen here, I don't care for the Hunters. We have rogues that patrol over areas and if they're smart enough, they wont pass the boundary. Which means you're safe in this territory. However, I don't accept people into this Pack so you'll have to meet with the Alpha. You'll be regarded as a rogue, because that's what you are." Ventia hadn't checked if Azalea was in the Main Building of the Pack House, where her office was before leaving the building, but if Azalea was anywhere on Pack Lands, she'd be able to hear Ventia's voice through the pack link. "There's a rogue here who wants refuge from the Pack. Supposedly he's being hunted by human hunters. I'm with him now and yes, I'm being a good girl and not shooting him down." Really, she should be given a reward for her control. "Want me to throw him in the cells?" If it was up to her? Ventia would definitely do it. But it wasn't up to her. Unless, Azalea decided to not reply back. Then it would be the dungeon for James. Where he'd be safe from the scary Hunters and wont have to sleep in a sewer. Technically the cells were the safest place if he was so afraid for his safety. Silver laced bar cells both kept things in and it being in the heart of the pack, definitely kept things out that weren't supposed to be there. By the time the Hunters would even reach the gated community of the Pack (if they made it that far) they would be killed on the spot. Since James couldn't hear the packlink conversation, she spoke out loud. "Just wait right there until I get confirmation." Let it be the dungeon, she terribly missed throwing someone down there. It was barely used. Such a bummer. Jareth spoke while Ventia waited, "Why are you being chased anyway?" His voice, unlike Ventia's, was pleasant enough. After all, Jareth was the man whom was kind until proven otherwise and then everyone saw the insanity that was kept deep inside of him.

"Well, see that's the fun part. I was wondering about for 5 or so years trying to figure out how to find this place again. I didn't exactly keep a map of the pack border." Janes decided it was safe to relax and crossed his arms.
"Being a rogue like you said, has some perks. Vampires are less concerned about killing you. Anyway, I met with one I had known for many years and he claimed to have news of where the pack borders were. Turns out to have been a setup. Another pack wanted me dead so instead of average hunters, they hired ten of the best killers they could find."
If it was not for the fact there were so many, James could handle this. However the damn beasts had found his hiding spot before he could get back and took all his things. Except the clothing he had.
"To be honest they don't worry me too much. I've learned to defend myself but when you got nothing to fight with but your hands and claws, your outmatched. If you really hate me that much, then all I ask if for one or two other rogues to help me deal with this bunch and I can be on my way, deal?"
He could sense the annoyance from her. The mood tension giving off a unique smell so to speak. It was just his thing. He was taught by another rogue how to sense the mood shifts of others, and it's saved his life.
"They are only like a day or so behind me. Anyway, had no where else to go so I took a chance to come here. Now, are you guys still as kind of a host to a guest as you use to be, or has the courtesy of thus pack been lost sense I last came here?"
This whole deal was odd to him. Last tike he came by as a rogue, the pack welcomed him so long he played by their rules until he was taken into the pack. A jesture as such gave rogues a chance to start off on good terms. Something that even he found useful in determine weather it was safe or not to stay mong the pack as one of their own. Had it not been for this brothers foolishness, he would not have left in the first place.
He would admit his question was snappy but considering the treatment that was being given, he had a right to be. He gave no intention to do them any harm,as if he could, and yet even she looked ready to kill him.

(PLease forgive my grammar and lack of substance, I'm typing this on a mobile device ad it sucks)
All of these damn problems.
Problem after problem, it never seemed to stop. Sometimes, Azalea wished she hadn't come back from the war, or that he hadn't come back from her mate's home. Then again, Azalea questioned whether or not she really wanted to be a leader. The pack funtioned well enough withou here. She'd ben so far awayfor so long, it was almost as if the pack functioned on it's own. Then again, it didn't.
There was always someone helpin the pack along, playing the role of Alpha. For the past...what was it, five years? Aza played that role off and on. No one ever knew about the off parts thoug. She always designated someone to play the role. Angus was an aloof Alpha after all, it was only natural that his daughter was as well. It didn't raise too many questions. Either way, this was still her pack, regardless of anything that had happened in her life. She'd be damned if anything would happen to it.
She took a deep brea, rubbing the bridge of her nose as Ventia came over the pack link. She sat at the opposite edge of the territory, looking through a small med-hut to see if she needed to send out for a restock.
"Throw him in the cells until I get there, please. I don't know which end of the territory you're at, but I'm out at one of the outlying medbays seeing if it needs restocked. It would just be easier to meet up."
Azalea sighed, standing up. The alpha was young, and proud. However, something always seemed off about her. Even when someone didn't know Aza, her prowess would be beyond noticeable. She moved with a certain gait that screamed confidence and authority. She certainly wouldn't downplay that for some rogue. Aza grabbed her bag and began working on moving to the pack compond.

((Im replying off the same device as Angus, so my reply might be a tad bit rough. This is the smallest keyboard Ive ever seenn.))
Zach watched as Azalea got up to leave. He had been sort of following her to learn the lay of the land as well as the locations of the medbays around the border of the packlands. He was still new and felt like he had something to prove, especially since his soul was bound to someone not on the best of terms of the pack. That being said, he felt like he had a lot more control over Fang than he did before.
He still didnt trust himself, and he knew that Azalea didnt trust him either.
"Whats up?" He asked her. It was a sort of a mutual agreement that they were on a small break, and he thought that it was a little weird that Azalea would just get up and walk out like that in the middle of a job. So, he still followed her.
To be 100% honest, though, he wasnt sure if he would be able to make it back to the packhouse without her lead. So...yeah...

((Sounds like a mission lol))
They listened.
If Ventia had a choice, she wouldn't have listened. She would have turned and walked away, letting her son deal with the rogue. She couldn't stand the way he blabbered everything. It was a great thing for her because he was just giving her information after information and Ventia wanted information. But at the same time, Ventia just didn't want to listen. She was annoyed. She'd rather read all this information on a file that was placed on her desk. Then listen to it outloud.
She sighed, this time audibly as the man spoke, smiling once to let him know that by all means, please continue. Just spill your life story out. It'll be so much easier to make a report at the end of the day. Ventia thought to herself as she rubbed the back of her neck, working out a stubborn knot as James spoke.
"That's really unfortunate for you." Ventia drawled the words out, her tone flat. His next words caused her to laugh, "I don't hate you. You're not that special. I just don't like strangers-and it has been fifteen years James." Ventia shrugged, she really didn't hate every rogue that passed the boundary. Sure, she'd shoot first but usually only flesh wounds that only slow them down. Not endangering their lives. Being werewolves, they would heal within the week at the longest. Ventia was just someone whom wouldn't hold someone's hand and tell them that all will be okay.
It didn't mean that she didn't have sympathy for others but once again, she was a complex person.
Ventia paused, smiled at Azalea's words and sent a quick "Will do," through the link before refocusing back on James. "Sure," she drew out the word, her eyes filling with silver swirls. It didn't take someone long to realize Ventia was annoyed. Whenever her emotions rose, her eyes shifted colors from dark grey to dark grey with silver swirls. Not only that but along with her facial expression and body language, anyone with two cents could figure out Ventia was irritated.
"We'll continue to have this discussion further in the Pack where the Alpha will be present to listen to your case." Really, he was a rogue. All rogues were treated with suspicion. If he was annoyed judging by the snap in his voice, then he was really stupid. Just imagine if Pack's started being nice to rogues like he wanted her to, a pack would be run to the ground in less than a week.
Especially since the Deadlands were their neighbor and everything in the Deadlands were bad news. Plus, if he thought she was being mean to him. Well then he had to grow up. Ventia rolled her eyes to herself, wishing she could have shot someone instead of being pleasant.
"Find a Outsider, tell them of the 'highly trained scary human hunters' and let them be on the lookout just in case. When you're done, come back to the House." Ventia told her son, Jareth hesitated and glanced at the man and then nodded, leaving at a jog towards a usual outpost for one of the Outsiders.
Ventia glanced back at James. "Let's go then. Try anything funny and I will shoot you, just so we're clear. And for the record? I am being kind. Or else you would be bleeding by now." She flashed her teeth, eyes darkening with humor and then she held out her hand towards the woods where she had just come from, and waited for the man.

James narrowed his eyes. So despite the fact he had been here before she still saw him as an outsider completly. Lovely. How would he go about this one. The girl had a gun, that was true...and he doubted he could outrun it.
He glanced up and about for a moment, then back at her and the direction she gestured too. Where would she take him and for that matter, how could he trust her with his life.
She didn't exactly hind thst she was just fine putting a bullet in him. That alone was un-settling. He didn't like any of this at all. Fifteen years may be a long time but for their kind it wasn't that long.
Where was the alpha?! It was expected to at least meet the alpha on the borders before crossing into pack land. Out of respect both for the alpha and the pack. He didn't want to fight if he didn't have to.
"With all due respect, I think not. I'm not that big a fool. It's practly custom among the packs that the Alpha be the one to approve a rogue to pass through pack borders. I will not cross any further without your alpha's expressed permission." James took a few steps back and pulled a pack from behind the tree.
He really did not want to do this but this made hum uncomftorabel. There was no way to be sure of his safety much less hers.
"I will be just outside the trees here...when your alpha comes, then we can talk about me going any further in." Not taking another moment to waist he walked back away. Never before has a pack beta been that cold on a newcommer.
He could understand the worry for the rogues but their sents by now should be fomiliar at least. That was the worst excuse he had ever heard to outright anyone who bothers to announce themselves. A rogue seeking to do harm would not have doen that.
At the very edge of the trees, James look off across the grassy field. No sing of his followers. That was a relief at least. With a deep sigh he went about making a temporary camp. Worst case is that the alpha bothers to not come.
If that were the case he needed a backup plan. Something else to be doen about this. Lead them into the Rouge infested lands maybe? Would give them a hell of a bigger delay but that ment more fighting for him too. He had no interest in a fight. He was tiered of that.

"There's a problem on the border. I told them to take the problem and meet me with it at the Pack House with it, considering it's just one rogue."
Azalea sighed a bit, shaking her head and covering her eyes as they stepped out of the med bay. She looked back at the man-child following her. No matter what, even if her back was turned to the boy, she was paying attention to him. The trust that she had for him was non-existent but after what happened when he was joining the pack, she wasn't about ready to sit here and let him roam around without some sort of supervision. What supervision was better than the Alpha's though? Of course, when she wasn't around, someone else watched him but that was besides the point.
"There's been a lot of rogues at the border for some reason. There must be something in the wind...either that, or something else attracted them here." As they walked, Azalea was calm and confident. Despite already having been healed and still dealing with her own problems associated with it, she found that she kept the ATV that she had been using to get around the pack lands. It was probably the least smelly vehicle that she had ever been around. Because it was open to the air as well, it didn't bother her as much some other things.
She waited for Zach to get on before she left, but when she did, it didn't take them that long to get to the pack house. Because the pack lands weren't a perfect circle nor even on all sides, it wasn't that hard to get there from the side that she was on. However...even as she reached the cells, there was no one there.
"I'm at the cells, about how far are you guys out?"
Aza looked back at Zach, sighing a bit. "I swear, if one rogue causes trouble, there's going to be a need for a healer." Good thing that the boy was learning to become a healer. Very, very good thing.

((My reply that I had got typed up so I'm skipping the fluff and going to the reply-able stuff.))
She was a creature of habit, especially since she had taken over as the manager of Stonewall.
Go open at six, come to the pack house by seven, then patrol the borders until about nine. After that, she would either do sword practice with herself or whoever was willing, or relax. Sword practice was only three times a week. That usually went until around eleven.
Lily pulled up in the car that Azalea had bought her, telling Lily that since she interacted with humans that having a car would be less suspicions than walking however many miles that she had to in order to get to the bakery. It wasn't that Azalea was afraid that someone would try and get a hold of her...no, in that case, Lily was sure that Azalea would feel bad for the people who tried to take her.
She pulled up the rough dirt road that led to the packhouse, catching a glimpse of an ATV pulling through the compound. She was wearing one of the two uniform shirts that she had, that being the dark green one. She wore denim skinny jeans other than that.
OUt of the two, Lily knew that she was the more feminine. It was funny to think that a woman who could bring most men twice her size to their knees in a matter of seconds could be considered feminine, but in that relationship, she was. Azalea wouldn't be caught dead in skinny jeans.
Still, Lily preferred the familiar weight of her armor and shield. That just wasn't proper attire for the humans here.
She opened the door, standing and continuing to watch Azalea drive closer until she came to a stop. She ran her fingers through her hair, finally noticing that she had a passenger.
On that note, she turned, popping the trunk of her car and grabbing her sword belt. The leather was only a shade or two darker than the green that she currently wore, with dark gold studs and buckles. The bottom of her sheathe was plated in gold-colored metal as well. The hilt that protruded from the sheath was plain. Dark, well worn leather wrapped the grip, and the pommel was a silver quadquetra emblazoned on a shield. A garnet was set in the heart of the quadquetra.
She fastened the belt and approached the two, knowing that Azalea probably already knew that she was there.
"So, where are you two headed?"

Why me?" Ventia asked the air and waited for a response. Figures, she didn't get one. No, God just liked to screw with her with annoying rogues whom seemed to think that they knew everything. That they were oh so smart and had to respond with things that they thought were custom.
She turned to James, her eyes dark. "You're wrong. You're more of a fool than you think. Let's humor you for a moment, even if that custom was true. Then you shouldn't have crossed this deep into the boundary. You should have waited just by the boundary line, maybe a few steps in, until you were greeted by the Alpha. But that's all rubbish. Why? Because the Alpha is a very important person and also, busy. She's not going to drop everything she's doing just to come all the way here and meet you."
She bit back a sigh, "Now, since I didn't inform you of what was confirm, I'll make it clear. I've spoken to the Alpha. She's on her way to the Pack House and she expects us to meet her there and wait until she comes. You've been given permission to go further into the pack until you reach the Pack House. Once then, the Alpha will speak with you and then she shall decide what to do."
Ventia continued, crossing her arms under her chest, "I'm not sure where you get your information. Most rogues are rarely encountered by the Alpha first. They do meet with the Alpha eventually but usually they are encountered by the Outsiders, Warriors, or Scouts. I have no idea why you would think that the Alpha just waits along the boundary for a rogue."
Ventia was now angry, her fingers itched and James' behavior was making her skin crawl. This was why she liked doing paperwork. She didn't have to deal with every wolf whom believed that they were smarter than her. "If you don't want to follow me to the Pack House where the Alpha will meet us, then when you do meet with the Alpha-it wont be as pleasant. After all, the Alpha asked for me to escort you there and already you have went against her words. If she has to come from the other side of the pack grounds to here after being promised to meet you in the Pack House, she wont be very happy."
Ventia gritted her teeth, "Keep in mind, I'll guaranteed your safety unless you prove me otherwise. I have no wish to see you dead, if that's what you think. Packmates have left and come back, intent on killing their former allies. I am merely being cautious and if you cannot accept that James, then I honestly don't know what to say. You expect special treatment because you think that being a packmate once very long ago should permit that to you. But you're mistaken. It doesn't work that way."
"So, will you accept the Alpha's request to meet at the Pack House or will you continue to stay here and disrespect her wishes? There will be no harm done to you if you choose to accept. As the Beta, I swear that." Ventia held up a hand to her heart, swearing the pledge.
Azalea's words filled her mind and Azalea could hear the sigh that came through the packlink. "The rogue-his name's James- thinks that its custom for the Alpha to meet with a rogue at the border of a pack. Then, he thinks that I'm not very nice because I'm warning him that if he steps out of line, I'll injure him. Which knowing me, I will. On the contrary, I think I'm being extremely nice to him by not shooting him already. You see, we have a disagreement. Anyway, he's not listening to me and starting to make a camp. My patience is running thin with him but then it's always has. James used to be part of the pack-a long time ago, more than fifteen years now. He was barely a pack member for a year before he left. Yet he thinks he deserves special treatment because of this."
Ventia sighed again, running a hand through her hair. "Seems like I'm too old for this. Deskwork doesn't really talk back to me." Ventia lip's quirked up in a half smile despite her annoyance. "Hopefully he'll be a good boy and listen to me. I'll let you know."

James raised an eyebrow at the mention of the pack alpha being a girl. Sense when was the alpha a girl?! He couod have sworn it was a male though he has kinda forgotten their name.
Irritated at the attitude of this wold, James took a heavy and deep sigh. "No offence to you, but in my travels, the packs I've crossed are a hell of a lot more civilized than this! The last time I came here, I didn't cross any furthet without meeting the alpha and having HIS expressed permission to go further."
He had to admit, this was a bit more tense than he wanted. He didn't feel safe with her to say the least, and the fact she clearly had no issues harming him.no less killing him.perbapse, gave him more of a doubt.
Pacing a bit he finally looked straight at the girl before him. "No, I will wait here and just deal with an alpha's wrath. I have doen nothing to threaten you or your pack, nothing. And yet you act and speaks as though you would harm me in a second. I will not go with you, not when I have not proof I'm safe putting my life in your hands."
James passed around a bit more, nervous. Even here he felt as though his life was at threat. In a bit of a panic he packed everything back up. "Forget it. I obviously was mistaken Yo think I had even a single friend here still."
He was just about to turn and leave but then frize. Just over the hurizan, a mile or so out, four or five figures piped up. James crossed his fingers and prayed it was not them, however he caught the glint of a gun, and ducked as a shot wizzed passed where his head was. James looked back at the forest and then forward, cursing the missgortune.
"Damn it fine! I'll go!" With that he ducked behind a tree and let the girl lead the way. Better to die here then by those freeks or at least he thought that be the case.
He had to admit, he hoped those guys were much farther off. He could have sworn he got at least a days ahead of them. How they managed to catch up so fast, he didn't know.
He crossed his fingers and prayed this would not be the day he died. Death felt too dull. Where as life, well living proved to be a lot more fun for the past fifteen years.can't it go on?
