Ro chuckled at her embarrassment, it was a short chuckle as he stretched a little." True, " He saw how Lottie looked at Eliora like she was a parental figure to her. He had expected that her to jump at the idea of fighting with him. He would stand straight from leaning off the rope, he took only a few steps to the middle of the ring.
He had watched Lottie seem ready to fight as she bounced a little but the growl that escaped Eliora had her bounce taken right out of her as she stared at her. When she said she was the one that was going to fight Lottie would smile again and start bouncing. Ro would back up a few paces keeping a eye on her, he was interested to see how she would handle herself.
He was not one to point out what was obviously a protectiveness she had over lottie, it was not his place to point out things. He would bounce slightly like a boxer before shaking out himself a bit as if limbering up a little. He would toss the stick lottie taking it from mid air to look it over as if it was some magical item. So far he found no one else here dangerous to himself.
Her on the other hand though. He figured she would be able to defeat him. It was the control he was looking for on her part. His 'feelers covered the ring waiting on her to step in. When she leaped into the ring he would pull from her a little if any emotion was filling the air from only her. "Good."
Nox raised his tiny little arms in the air as if cheering as Lottie giggled as she moved to sit and watch how this was going to go. "BJ!"She shouted with a smile patting a chair near by her. Nox made small noise as she gave him a piece of cracker to nibble on. Her guards relaxed a little wanting to see the boss's friend whip the odd persons ass.
They were chattering between each other making bets that Eli would win the other thinking it would be a tie. It was a little bit before a few more people filed into the gym seeing people in the ring they would stop for a moment before moving to work out while watching. Soon people where steadily coming into the gym.

Eliora looked down at Lottie when she caught the stick, hiding her at the fascination she saw on the young woman’s face as she examined it. She eyed him closely as he stretched. She inhaled deep and slow and exhaled the same way. The only issue with that little exercise was it brought Ro’s scent deeper into her lungs. Excitement began to fill her, and she also began to stretch her muscles. She did say she was going to exercise, so this was as good a way as any. That one word had her giving him a fanged smile as she slowly began to walk around the ring.
She noticed as more and more people came into the gym. Initially she thought they just wanted to work out but hearing their conversations she began to get annoyed with them. She couldn’t do anything about the audience they seemed to have acquired. She growled in irritation and could feel the pressure of needing to shift further but she wouldn’t she maintained, mentally restraining herself. She felt a little relief and narrowed her eyes at Ro, though she guessed she should kinda thank him. She flexed her claws and lunged at him.

Upon hearing his name being called, BJ looked over at Lottie and gave her a gentle smile. He chuckled soft at her enthusiastic invitation to sit beside him. “Thank you, Lottie.” He said and took the offered seat. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t worried about the match. He didn’t think Eliora was in the right headspace for something like this, especially when Ro was the one, she was pissed at to begin with. When he noticed more and more people came into the gym with some making bets while others were pretending to work out as they surreptitiously watched the match. “For fuck’s sake, this isn’t the Pit.” He said with a heavy sigh.

Anthony was grateful that Alexander didn’t push the other issue any further and was more than happy to move on to the heart of the conversation. “We need to know how we can help her fully recover. Truth be told, I don’t fully know what the hell she is or the extent of her abilities. But figured you would since you have or had such close ties with the family.” Anthony explained. When Alexander didn’t say anything, Anthony continued.
“She seems to be struggling mentally and it became…concerning.”
“How so?” Alex finally spoke up. Anthony paused and wondered how he should go forward. He knew he had to be careful of his wording about Eliora’s condition, but he’d never beat around the bush with Alexander. Mainly because the giant bear hated it. He’d always said it was a waste of time that could be spent on much more important things. “Just spit it out.” Alexander growled.
She has been struggling with her mentality since she came back. At one point she left, and I put out an order for her not to be allowed back in the territory.” Hearing Alex’s growling through the phone he continued. “The night she left you could see her struggle and it was only by a hair’s breadth that she was holding it all together. I felt she was a danger to the pack and the best course of action would be for her to just leave.
Voss rescinded the order and allowed her back in. she ended up coming back a bloody mess because she had been trying to kill herself. “Alexander had made a sound that Anthony couldn’t describe though one word did come to mind, pained.
“How is she now?” Alex asked, the pain and hurt in his voice was clear to hear.
“Physically she is fine, mentally, and emotionally is a different story. She’s very protective over Lottie, Voss’s daughter. I think that helps her to anchor herself. Though, even before she left, she had been constantly sad and crying and if she wasn’t then she was constantly angry. She was a roller coaster, and it was hard to pinpoint what emotion she would have. Frankly she was and is unstable. Voss wanted to fix her.”
“Do you want to help her?” Alex asked, all infliction gone from his voice. There was a moment of silence as he thought of his next words carefully, but he knew he and his brothers were part of the issues that plagued Eliora. They had to take some responsibility in her recovery. Maybe it would help them in their own healing, though trying to convince Eliora he was trying to help may not be as easy as they think.
“I want to help her. Me and my brothers caused a lot of her pain. This pack is about rebuilding from nothing. A lot of us are in the process of doing that individually. If we can help her move forward, then that would be a boost for the rest of the pack to seek help for themselves.” Alex listened to Anthony speak and weighed his thoughts and opinions in the matter. The other members of their group, despite being close to a lot of them, were not his priority. The only concern he had with Black Ash was Eliora Fatelle, if he had business there then yea that but right now? He only cared about Eli.
I will help though there may not be much that we can do for her. Her breed is more of a spiritual bunch. If something is affecting her this badly physically and mentally then, her spirit needs to be checked.” Alexander started to explain.
"What the hell are you talking about? Are you saying that she needs spiritual healing?” Anthony asked with a scoff. It sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Before he could say anything else.” Alexander snarled.
“Shut the fuck up and listen.” He said angrily. “This is not a fucking joke. When they are born, their souls are pair with one of their ancestors who will guide and protect them. Another duty of the guardian is to quell the darkness that lies within them. Should anything happen to the guardian before they escort their charge through the veil, there is nothing the hold that darkness at bay. As a result, the darkness acts like a “devil’ on their shoulder trying to get them to delve more and more into their dark side giving the entity the chance to consume them.”
Alexander sighed heavy as he roughly wiped his face in frustration. “It’s a lot to explain. I know it sound crazy, but I have seen these things firsthand, even with Eliora and her guardian. It was one hell of an experience for sure.” He sighed once more. “You wont be able to help her unless you are willing to understand what she is and be open minded. They are incredible creatures.” Alex said with a bit of fascination touching his voice. As much as he hated to admit it, he understood to some degree why Benjamin was so fascinated with her people.
Bringing himself back to the conversation at hand, he shook his head. “No matter where they go , they always have one particular spot ,in a territory they claim as home, where they spend a lot of time and energy. These places act as a sort of conduit for energies. Places where their blood is spilt can act as temporary gateways.” Alexander cleared his through and quickly switched to something else, though Anthony took note of the sudden change.
“Healing the spirit is no easy task. Eliora’s mother would tell me they would call on one of their gods for healing. Though she never specified which one. She didn’t speak too much on it because many of them worshipped the Luna, the Moon Goddess. But the Fatelles did not, or at least it wasn’t just Luna. There were a few times they called upon Father Wolf, I think it was though they used a different name.
She used to laugh and speak so fondly of him that you would have thought he was a real person, not saying he wasn’t real to them. I said as much to her and gave me a motherly smile and slapped me before kissing my cheek. She’d say ‘The Father turns no soul away that seeks his help.’ I had no clue what the hell she was talking ab out and I still don’t fully understand.” Alexander growled. “if he was so loving and open to help those in need, how could he allow his people to suffer as they have? But I digress because they are not my gods and I don’t pretend to understand what they have going on.”
Anthony, spoke up before Alexander had a chance to go on one of his tangents. “Do you think you can discuss this with Voss and myself?” The line fell silent as Alex thought about it. “Sure.” Alexander said cautiously. He knew of Voss and ran into him maybe once or twice, but this was different. HE had to gauge to see if Voss was trustworthy for the info Anthony was asking for him to share. Anthony already knew he would have his head should anything happen to Eliora because of him.
“Okay, but we cant speak of this here. We will need to meet somewhere.”
“Im cool with where ya’ll want to go.” Alexander responded. “I have to go but hit me up to let me know when you have settled on a place.” With that Alexander hung up and stared at his phone for a moment. His mind was blown. When he heard Jason approaching, he turned his attention to a new situation. “What’s up, Duke? Have you found any trace of the children?”
Jason’s eyes turned pure white, and he bared his fangs causing Alexander to raise his hands in surrender. “I’ve told you not to ever call me that.” He growled and Alexander sighed. “Yea I know, it slipped my mind. So, what’s up?”
Closing his eye, Jason took a deep breath and let it out slow. When he opened his eyes again, they were brown like milk chocolate. “I haven’t gotten much. Though I was informed that Nikki wasn’t with the others and the second daughter had been found but there is no mention of any of their whereabouts.”
“that’s good. That’s a good start. Do we know what direction any of them may be in?” Alexander pressed anxiously.
Jason shook his head with a frown. “I was lucky to get even that much.”
“It is more than we had before. We must keep searching.” Alexander didn’t disclose the information he’d gotten from Anthony about Eliora to Jason. They already had their hands full trying to find their mother, it’d be like adding a mountain to his back. He thought about Nichole and wondered if she had the ability to help. He waved that though away as he clasped Jason on the shoulder. “Come, let’s get a bite to eat.” He said as they headed to a bar and grill.

Ro watched her muscles that he could see and any other part of her, it was interesting she could use only parts of her self from the other side. Seeing the claws as she moved towards him in a lunging motion he would spin away moveing up in a leap to stand on the pole once more. " I ask that weapons not be used." He motioned to her claws. He had purposly thrown away his stick as to not end up her being overly anger when it would of came in contact with her. He stepped out on the rope before hopping down from it.
He was sure she could fight hand to hand, showing restraint sometimes was needed when a other wordly person fought with someone lesser then them. He wondered how many have died by those in this very room under estimateing them. He himself was very dangerous when it came to his feeding habits. He would then move towards her gauging her reactions before he would strike out trying to take her off her feet with a push into her and his foot placed behind her sweeping back if he could get that close.

Lottie smiled as she watched Ro retreat from her as she had charged him. She turned to BJ her smile was genuine." YOu are welcome BJ. " When he cursed about this not being the pit she would blink and stare at him.
"What is the pit?" She asked now interested in what that was. She wanted to know everything about it as nox squeaked at her to watch the fight. He knew what it was and wanted her to know nothing about it. She ,however, put one finger over his whiskers in a shushing manner.
The group of people who had gathered seemed on edge for the fight to start. Though it seemed like it was not going to be as brutal as everyone thought it was going to be.

The smoke rolling out of the car looked like it was on fire in the back alley. A cough and sputter was a telling that someone was smoking some loud. The voice inside was deep." I need you to make me some money." He said passing off a joint to the woman sitting beside him in the car. It was evedient that she was not in this kind of business as she was nicely dressed as if for a interview.
She took a hit and passed it back. " I ..I do not do this kind of work." It was the smile that spread across his face that had her chilled to the bone. " I have never run shifters before. I only do humans as they are easy." She slowly swallowed watching him. The woman in the front seat shifted a little her hand resting on a blade. "but nah, what i want you to do is to filter my money through your job as a bank teller. I need clean money."
She smiled and seemed to relax as he passed the joint back. His chuckle was soft and soothing."Sure, that I can do. Just make a corporation to run it through. "She said starting to explain how it was done. He nodded a little stubbing out the joint for later. " Ok, I will send you the information later. " He put his hand on her leg."Though you are pretty enough to be run as one of my girls."She tensed and he let out a loud laugh and opened the door.
"Now get the fuck on before I decide to take what is clearly going to be mine." She scrambled out of the car like a cat out of a house on fire. The driver would let all the windows down before taking off so the smoke would clear."Smokey I thought you wanted to move the operation because of the scare last week at the hotel." He shook his head. "nah I found a guy to clean up the mess." He wasn't cheap but well worth it. It was like none one had died in the room.
A shifter had gotten clobbered in the mouth and had raged out on his human girls shredding three of them. Now he was looking for replacements, if he could not find any willing girls to make some large amounts of money he would just have to snatch some up. "Besides, I run from nothing."

Eliora abruptly stopped in her tracks, surprised when Ro jumped away from her. She was admittedly impressed by his agility and dexterity despite being a bit disappointed. Aside from that, she was also irritated. Eliora cocked her hip and crossed her arms over her chest as she narrowed her eyes at him. She was aiming to grab his arm, not claw him. She currently wanted to shred something with her claws now. She heaved a deep sigh as she watched him hop back into the ring fighting the blush at the sight of his rippling muscles. “I had no intention of clawing you.” She asked with a low growl though she could sort of see where he was coming from.
BJ watched her carefully as she flexed her hands once more. She looked over at BJ a moment then looked down at her claws. She sighed and held her hands up to comply. “Fine.” She said taking a deep breath and letting it out slow. She lifted her brow as her golden eyes turned to Ro’s gaze and would hold it unless he looked away. She didn’t think he would because he seemed the dominate and stubborn type. When she exhaled her claws were retracted though honestly it simply looked as if she’d cut her nails. “I am no cheat.” She said softly, genuinely affronted by the implication. She had to admit, not aloud, that she started off a bit sloppy and was grateful for the redo. There were several reasons she could give for it but ultimately it was on her.
Eliora slowly stepped back and shook herself, as if trying to get rid of prefight jitters. She bounced on her toes a couple times before she took up a stance with her left foot forward and evenly distributed her weight. Her feet were a little more than shoulder length apart and her knees were slightly bent. She brought her hands to position while her elbows fell naturally at her sides and tilted her chin towards her chest. She took her eyes from his gaze to really see him and take him in.
Ro was sexy and had a maintained athletic build with muscles she wouldn’t mind sinking her teeth into. she wanted to trace his tattoos with her claws or tongue, either would suffice. She paused at her train of thought and growled at herself when she felt her fangs ache. She twisted her tongue and licked her lips. He had reach and debated on how she wanted to deal with it.
~*~
BJ returned Lottie’s smile though it slipped when she asked about the Pit and he became dumbfounded. He wasn’t sure how to answer that question, in a way that wouldn’t get his ass handed to him or feed her curiosity. He nervously cleared his throat as his mind scrambled for what to say. He was grateful to Nox when he squeaked. BJ would use that to try and change the topic and dodge the question. “Oh look, Eliora seems to finally get her head together, kinda.” He said with a slight frown as he watched her.
~*~
Anthony decided to go check on Foxxy to make sure she was ok after that scared from Eliora. Sometimes she was too nice for her own good. For fuck’s sake she was pregnant and needed to be more cautious. She could go into labor at any moment. As he was heading down the hall, he’d heard several people passing him in excitement over a fight in the gym. He initially shrugged it off and pulled out his phone to send Voss a text message about scheduling a meeting with Alexander. He heard Haloke walking past talking to Shane about the fight between Eliora and the strange dude that brought her in.
That bit of information gave him pause. After a moment he’d done an about face and began to casually walk towards the gym. He decided to go check it out and make sure it wasn’t going to be problematic. Along the way he reached out to Voss. ‘Yo Voss, I have spoken to Alexander who has agreed to help with Eliora. He has agreed to meet up with us. Of course, he and Eliora need to remain separated for the time being, so he has agreed to meet us at a place of our choosing. Just let me know when and where and I will inform Alex.’ He said as he walked inside the gym and looked towards the ring.
