( Jewel ) A nineteen eighty-eight Cadillac Fleet-wood Brougham black coat paint with white washed wheels sat on the street out side Suck Me Dry, tinted window's half rolled up smoke poring out the sides. A woman sat in the front looking back through the review mirror at a man smoking a blunt, his eyes bloodshot as he relaxes. " Ow wi a guh duh dis?" (How we going to do this?) The man in the back would smile at her question before he would sniff and rub his nose." Wi wait patiently till him shows up den mi beat di shit outta him fi being late." (We wait patiently till he shows up. Then I beat the shit out of him for being late.) Smoke would roll out his nose and mouth as he slowly exhaled. The street had cars going by at the late hour, more then Smoky thought would be. He kept his eyes on the motorcycle out side the club, seeing the shifter come out side moving back and forth with out being able to stand or walk a straight line. He could hear him laugh as he sat on the hog and spit on the ground. " Fuck " He held his head rubbing it gently scratching at his beard. Seeing the car after a few moments trying to find a cigarette pack in his pockets, he would lick his lips gently being parched and limbered up. Smoky would get up and step out of the car, his long shirt open and arms ripped off at the shoulder. He flipped what looked like a cricket bat wrapped with tape, Ghost would get up trying to run from his motorcycle. Smoky would move quickly after him running hard tapping the back of his heel before watching the man go down. He would move slowly up and kick him in the face knocking him out. Waving his hand the woman would slide out of the car slowly moving towards him as Smoky moved back to the car. She would sling him over her shoulder before dumping him into the back of the car. " Drive Sakina " The woman would slowly slip back into the car and pull away from the bar leaving the motorcycle behind. *~~*~~* "Duppy lang time no si ya?" (Ghost long time no see, ya?) Ghost would look across the way his vision blurry smelling the deep stench of Lamb's bread rolled around the cab of the caddy. " Hey Atone, Sorry ..." Smoky would hold up a finger and shake it back and forth slowly. " Drop dat white bowy." (Drop that white boy.) Ghost would cough and nod rubbing his face. " If you swing back around I can drive now." Atone would nod at Sakina who would drive back towards the bar for him to pick up his motor cycle. It wasn't long before Ghost was leading them out of town into forest area, turning off the lights once they reached a cliff. Smoky would climb out of the car his movement was a limped G kind of walk. Stopping at the edge he would look over the side. " Dung there?" ( Down there?) Ghost would nod but scratch his bean hat before shrugging. " They wont be here for a while." Smoky would wave him off moving back to lean on the hood of the car. Ghost would move quickly to his bike to take off, Sakina would frown watching the mutt take off like a scared puppy. Lighting up a cigarette she would sigh sucking back on it hard. She seemed impatient to get this over with as if she hated being here in its self. *~~*~~* Voss stood outside the cave mouth at the setting of the sun, his focus on the horizon scratching at his beard. Raider would smile as he walked out to him. " I wanted to ask you about Calypso.." Voss would laugh lightly and shake his head. " Take the young girls and her and the few that we didn't ship and take them to the auction. She is deceiving you ....filling your mind with mush." Raider would grit his teeth but smile." As you wish...will you be attending?" Voss nodded before he stood up and walked inside. Raider would move back towards his living space, he was not ready for them to leave. Seeing Voss down the hall on the phone walking to the room he had placed the girls in he would knock. His mood was foul and biting with anger," Calypso you awake?"

The girls had been in the cave for a bit. They entertained themselves, ate with the others in their predicament. They lost track of time, but they knew that their time here would be relatively short.
Calypso was sad to go; she enjoyed her time with Raider, whether it was when he was cooking or they were walking after the girls had gone to bed. There was this one time that they ventured outside. She caught a glimpse of a purple sky as the sun set, causing the desert to look like a fantasy land. (Yes, she was what one would call a dreamer. Sue her.) But on Earth, good things never really lasted. Her one regret?
Not being able to tell Raider what a prayer chain was. One would think that she had plenty of time – though it seemed as if Raider was a busy guy. It was rare that they even saw each other. And when they did, the prayer chain completely slipped from her mind.
She didn't get much sleep. It wasn't because the girls practically lying all over her caused an extreme amount of heat. It was because she was worried. She was always worried – it came with the territory. Before the sun woke her thoughts raced faster than light (or so it seemed). "Yeah," she called out, her own voice carrying slight bitterness. Then slowly, she pulled her arm slowly from under Zoë's head, which caused the little girl to snort and find another position. With that arm she used her fingers to pry Lani's from off her shirt.
After a little bit of wiggling she stood lithely and moved her feet sluggishly to the door. As soon as she opened it she saw the angry look on Raider's face. "What is it?" she asked with concern, the dark circles under her eyes crinkling when the brows above her eyes drew together in concern. She didn't think she had seen him look so … angry since … at all. Raider was always calm and collected.
((Lemme know if I overstepped boundaries.))

Raider would stare at her for a moment his anger easing slowly, all that remained was a sad look in his eyes. " Wake them up, you and the rest are going to auction..." Sighing didnt ease his headach at all. leaning on the door he looked down. " You should be staying. But Voss says you go.." The anger at that flared again before shook his head. " Get them ready." He whispered, he knew he should of taken them to the boarder of guards. Or asked Foxxy to take them out far and let them go and give them some money. But what he really wanted is for her to stay, and if that meant the girls too. Then yes. He slapped his hand on the cave wall and moved to his room. " We have a hour before Voss will collect you personally if you dont show up. " Tucking his gun in the holster and one behind him, he would pick up another gun.
He was already wearing his bullet proof vest and his camo pants, he only dressed like this when they where going out some where dangerous. Since the pack couple had ruined the chances of useing the pit for auctioning things, not to mention they knew were the pit was. He was pissed that they had made it out so easily, several of the people that were paid to gaurd the pit had lost their lives. The man with the bottles of liquids was on his hit list, he had not seen him lately but he was going to find him and end him. Requardless of the little woman that was with him, he didnt smell like a shifter and it was a suprise that he smelled like pack. Something he had not heard of and thought was against the rules of a pack from what he had heard. He waited for them to be ready, he needed to drive out there still. Something he wanted to do but couldnt was let them out some where. If he did that now Voss would know and he would not see the light of day again.
This he was sure of in all facts and measures, Voss might help his pack like family but he was sure if he turned on him in any way and he might as well kiss his ass good bye. He started to wonder what people thought of him, when he was running with La La he didnt pull that into question. They had called their own shots and when she did something he didnt like he made it clear he wanted nothing to do with it. Which in a sense is worse then being there, becuase you still knew about it but refused to be apart of it in any way . He felt guilty enough for several different jobs they had done, the one where she murdered children never sat well with him and where he drew the line. She had told him after that they would of starved to death and she was doing them a favor, course she was drunk when admiting that. Being the only time she ever spoke some truth or opened up about stuff, it was all advodence and ignoring the issue till it went away. Well the problem he was having now was not going to go away, and he was not one to ignore a issue till it got worse.
*~~*~~*
"Why wi here? yuh ave plenty of women" ( Why are we here? You have plenty of women. ) Sakina groaned out in the smooth Patois, he laughed at her question and shook his head. "Sakina shut it." He sighed softly leaning forward. "Forget everything? Who yuh are?" Turning his attention to her as they waited in the car, She could feel the anger off him. " No " was her simple answer. "Gud" ( Good) He would lean back and close his eyes to let her sit and stew.

Calypso knew they were fixing to leave. They were finally going to be auctioned off and be treated as slaves. This is the third time Calypso's been to an auction, though that was because she had shown her violent side. The reason why Voss and Raider hadn't seen it? Well, it was partly because Voss was intimidating. If she bit him she would probably die. Mostly, though, they haven't threatened Lani, Zoë, or the other girls. Because of the mutual respect on either side, the girls would more that likely be sold tonight.
Maybe she should have been violent...
The night Raider offered for her to stay, she had prayed about it. Calypso had waited for an answer, and Raider's news seemed to be it. Was she hoping to stay? Truthfully yes. But she was let down. Instead of pitching a fit, she merely nodded.
"It'll take us less than thirty minutes," she assured, frowning at Raider's slap on the wall. She enjoyed Raider's company, and (embarrassingly) found that she felt a fluttering in her stomach each time she interacted with Raider. Though she didn't expect for him to be so upset at her departure.
"And don't be angry. It's not worth it."
It did just take thirty minutes for the girls to get ready. Lani woke without a sound, slipped into a simple pair of jeans, a tee, and flipflops. She held tightly to her a copy of The Prince by Machiavelli, which Raider or Voss seemed to pull from thin air (it was funny how she meant it only as a jest, yet now she clung to the book as if it were her lifeline). Calypso French-braided her hair, a usual style for the young Indian who had thick hair.
But Zoë was a bit upset from having to wake up. "I don't wanna go," she said in a sleepy, childish voice that showed she was on the verge of tears. "The sun ain't awake, anyhow."
"I know," Calypso said, in no mood to argue. "But we have to go. I'll help you get dressed." And she did. Calypso had picked out a pretty little blouse and a knee-length jean skirt with light-up sneakers to match. Lani advised not to dress the little girl to prettily – she might catch an old man or a rapist's attention.
But Lani didn't say those things to where Zoë could understand.
"Don't worry," Calypso replied, putting a white bow in Zoë's hair. "It should be glaringly obvious that wherever I go you two go, too."
Zoë refused to believe that she had to leave without a blanket, so Calypso picked up a burrito-wrapped girl, letting her fall asleep on her tank-top-clad shoulder. Well, it wasn't a tank, but the sundress had the same spaghetti straps as one. Her hair had lost the flat-ironed look ages ago, so it looked a bit frizzy. She simply brushed it over one shoulder.
And, fully dressed, the three girls came out into the hallway and waited for their escort.

Voss would smile as he sighed lightly sitting in the front of the truck, he wondered if Raider would pass his trail or Calypso for that matter. He would start the truck the trucks radio would blare Bullet with a Name, making Voss jump a little before he turned down the volume. " La La " He murmured lightly waiting for them to file into the trucks back. He had his eyes on the sky wondering how his new personal pet was doing on her work. Her first work was made beautifully, it was hard to acquire her and set free several harden 'criminals' at the same time. He had pulled a few strings here and there to get what he wanted, He had to use people and pawns to get the old mans army of death. Something he would not be able to do again any time soon, if he knew the less then obedient dog had used him he would be furious. This only put a smile further on his lips, he had heard the princess was in town again and this was going to be something to see in the end. He looked down at his watch and waited on the minutes to tick by.
~*~
Raider would look to Calypso when she said it wasn't work it, he smiled lightly and nodded. " Perhaps" Was all he said under his breath, he waited for her to dress them and be ready. It didn't seem to take long, he was standing at the ready to escort them to the truck. He would lean in and whisper in her ear, " If i can I am going to buy you" Though it was not what he wanted, he wanted her free and here. It never really sat well with him selling shifters, humans maybe? Selling people at all really didn't settle with him, stepping down the hall way he would lead them out the front among the guards watching them. A few of them seemed happy to see them go, though the young boys seemed not so happy they figured the children were brought so they would have a few others to play with.
" Come this way Ladies" He said softly moving up into the back of the truck reaching his hand out to help them inside. Of course he had not been told who would be there to purchase them, so he did not know the volume of money involved.
~*~
Smokey would sigh getting out of his caddy before shutting the door hard shaking the car a little. " Get yuh ass out here now!" Sakina would get out of the car slowly staring at him with annoyance. " You forget that I am your driver and body guard. Not one of your tarts. " He would laugh before shaking his head. " True" He said with a smile, they both moved down the side of the cliff headed for the auction to wait. He was buzzed even as he still smoked on the Lamb's bread, he held it out to her before she partook. He would shove his hands in his pockets, as he kicked a stand a little once they had reached the bottom. "Yuh kidding me? Looks like Barbados trash heap" Sakina moved to sit on what looked like a pillow covered stone, Smokey yawned as he laid up against her and smiled" Massage?" She smiled and gently started to massage his shoulders, even if she was not one of his tramps she would not disgrace him in public. They lounged like cats waiting for the show to arrive.

Calypso didn't expect for that statement to come out of his lips. When she was first given to Voss she remembered the Chinese woman's words. "If you'll be good then Raider would buy you." Or something like that. At the time she didn't want to be bought like property. Shoot, she still didn't. But she would rather have someone she knew buy her rather than someone that wanted her to do something she was unwilling to do.
His whisper against her ear made goosebumps rise on one side of her body. She cast her eyes to look at him out of her peripheral. Calypso wondered why. Why he would buy them (Lani and Zoë had to go with her. If she could she would take all of the girls. But Voss wouldn't allow that. She hardly believed Raider even had the money for that.) She knew that he wanted her to stay, but would he really go through those lengths? Why did he even want her to stay, anyway? Don't get her wrong, she would in a heartbeat. It's not like her parents would be willing to house a little shifter girl as well as her. (She was sure she could get a hold of Lani's parents all the way in India.) But she couldn't help but wonder.
"All three of us?" She whispered all of a sudden when she finally could speak (before she was helped into the truck).
She made sure that the girls went in before she did, to see their steps. Calypso didn't want for them to get a face-full of scrapes and bruises. And she was last, letting go of Raider's broad hand as soon as she got her footing. Then she sat down between her girls, surrounded by a lot of others.
She had a lot of bad case scenarios going through her head, and Calypso prayed that God would deliver them from someone wretched. That a miracle would happen. Or the very least change Raider's "If I can" to a "I promise I will". Her lips pressed against Zoë's head, then leaning her temple to Lani's crown. She heard a fellow auction piece start to cry, and so she held her hand and prayed some more.
Not once did her mind think of Jacob's brother being there.

Raider would slowly help the girls into the truck so they did not fall, when it came to Calypso the words she had said about all three of us sunk in. He had not originally been thinking money wise how that would pan out. All he had been thinking is keeping her there, he knew buying three people was a lot of money. He had money to always bail La La and Ivan out when they got into to much trouble, it had been used before they came here. So from that he had only ten thousand dollars left, but from when they first came here he had at least twenty-thousand. This was still most likely not enough since it was a bidding auction, he would not know the amount they would start with. Which most likely would be a high bid any where from five thousand to twenty thousand. If that was so he would only have a beginning bid before he would be out, he pulled her up into truck.
When she sat across from him he sighed and looked out the back as the truck took off," If i can afford it yes.. Perhaps i can work something out. I know you wont want to be separated from them." He doubted any one would buy the girls, he knew that Calypso would be bought for sure. They did not have anyone distasteful on the list who would be showing up, though often there was people he did not know there some times. " If I can not purchase you all do you want to buy the girls?" He wondered if it was the fear of them being with some one bad that had her watching over them.
Voss would slide the door open," your thinking about purchasing them?" Raider grit his teeth wishing he would of kept his mouth shut. Voss was wondering why he had not said anything before about wanting her to stay, he knew that he wanted it but did not mention it. It was something he did not understand, even though his own emotions had him in the same predicament. If he could not understand his own foreign problems would not reach him, he sighed shaking his head but smiled thinking that the trail would be a good one.
Raider look to Calypso before he answered. " Yes. I had hoped that she would of said something of wanting to stay earlier so that I could speak with you about them staying. " Voss laughed and shook his head. " Well to late now, if you have it purchase them if not be prepared for them to be gone. " Voss knew for some reason that Calypso would not be violent, at least no with him or Raider. He wanted to see what would happen when one or two people purchased her, to him this was a show and a game. He needed to see if she had the moxxy to stay with this group, though nothing is set in stone.
*~~*~~*
20 minutes later
As the truck pulled up into the trees Voss would climb out after shutting off the truck, hitting the side of the truck with his cane telling Raider to get them out. Raider would jump out and wait for them to file out of the truck he would assist them one at a time. Voss stepping towards the gathering stopped short smelling the ash and blood all to familiar, the smell of fear pushed from him quickly and if he had a tail it would be tucked. He slowly started to back up towards the truck, he could not go in that meant that raider would have to tell Ghost the phrase Alpha's beta. Which meant all of this was a trail except for the children, though he knew if calypso stayed so would they. He was glad that others had been brought for sale and most likely had been already been exchanged, or at least had started selling the others. He waited at the truck for them to catch up.
~~*~~
Smokey had been listening to the auction so far and found none of the younger flesh being sold what he wanted, his clientele was not one to dabble in such young flesh.( he kept it that way, he needed no perv's messing up his money.) He seemed like he was getting impatient till the second round of people where brought out, he had purchased a few till a man that seemed like he owned the very earth he walked on stepped into the area. He in all his life had never seen any one like that, the smell of ash and blood had put him on edge made him sit up more straight and look to Sakina who would stand up slowly putting her hand on her sword. Which only seemed to grasp the man with the dark hairs attention, his eyes moving to her made her gulp with fear. Even though she didn't know why she should be afraid, he looked like some dark age fool. Was it the eyes? No. It was not what they looked like, she could not pin point what was making he feel as if she was going to wet her self till he took his eyes off her.
It was his actually looking at her? It had to do with the intent of the gaze she figured. His walk all most like he floated it was so fluid, now the girl that followed him did not look up to any one else and kept close to him. Behind her was several girls dressed in fine silk most of them white to tell them they were pure and lacking experience. And two that were garb in red silk meant experience. Each wore a collar signified they would be up for action. Smokey would shift seeing Ghost bring the man a wooden chair to sit on that looked all most like a throne, he noticed how quickly Ghost moved from him and didn't look him in the eyes. Even though it was not a room he could feel the tension seem to fill up the area. It was unnerving and it made his middle have trouble settling, he felt as if he might be sick till the weight lifted and all seemed well. Though he smelled of fear now he would not be able to negotiate via intimidation.

Though she had some experience with this business, she didn't know the full extent of it. How much money was really being spent at these auctions. The look on Raider's face crushed her slowly climbing hopes. "No, I don't. But I understand if you can't." At his question, she looked at him with a questioning look. "How can I buy the girls? I don't have anything except for the clothes on my back." It was said with genuine curiosity. "Is there a special rule of this trade I don't know about?"
She looked up at the shadow-casted face that appeared through the window. Her heart clenched at the exchange, kicking herself for not saying something - anything - before-hand. This could have all been avoided. A sheepish grin took over her features, and she showed it to Raider and Lani. The latter giving her a glare so stony that Calypso thought, "Medusa's kid."
Voss's words and the door sliding closed seemed to be a seal on her fate. She had this strange feeling that the man had something up his sleeve. Maybe it was the lack of food. Though if this year had taught her anything it was to go with her gut instinct.
Twenty minutes seemed like twenty hours. Her arm had fallen asleep from holding Zoe. She was the last one out ignoring the tingles in her arm until Raider helped her down. She took a glance at Voss, who seemed to be afraid himself. And the man exuded fear-inducing power. If he wasn't going in then why in the world was she going to? Calypso mentally berated herself for not saying anything to Raider about staying, this time calling herself things not worthy of mentioning.
The more she stood there with the girls the more uneasy she became. Her palms started sweating. She saw Zoe cling to the blanket tighter. Lani had a knuckle in her mouth. Another girl that was going to be sold with them started crossing herself. They were all terrified. The nasty smell in the air only made it worse, though out of all the girls Zoe and Calypso were the only ones to smell it. Poor Zoe looked like she was going to pass out any minute now.
"I'm scared," Zoe said softly, turning her face to Sissy's side.
"It's going to be okay," she replied.

(If i need to change any thing or rewrite it please let me know)
When raider took them out of the truck one by one he lingered on Calypso being close before he moved away seeing the fear of his boss he would slowly step to him as they whispered to each other and raider would merely nod. He would move to Calypso and whisper in her ear," No I was talking about purchasing just them If i cant afford all three of you. So they don't get hurt" He said though he had doubts of any one paying any money for them. Or at least that was his hope. He saw the exchange that had gone between Calypso and Lani in the truck. It had all most made him smile at the moment. He would move towards the small clearing, " Come on every one" He said as the fear on him slowly left him, he didn't show any aggression as he went in. But upon seeing Smokey's companion, he stiffened with a primal urge of flight or fight for a brief moment. He knew they were both a cat type species from the smell, but he knew that he could hunt the woman and not smokey for some reason.
He shook it from his mind as he lead them into the circle. " stand here and wait your turn for being shown off. " He said his voice was tight with anger again, not at Calypso or any of them but with his own words. He would walk over to Ghost to whisper to him in the ear only getting a nod from him before he stood by the girls. Ghost would look at the auction list before he sighed. " Ok it seems we have a lot more to go through, Damien's stock and Raiders " He would not dare say his bosses name in front of the new man. He knew better. Turning to Raider he would point at the girls. " We have Calypso " He motioned for her to step into the ring to be shown off.
Smokey when first seeing Calypso had already decided that he would pay anything for her to come to his stock for his pleasure silk. He knew that just by her look she could fetch far more then others, his clientele loved the color of what her skin was. Light and smooth he was more then ready to bid even before she would be stepping into the ring. But he had learned patients in his line of work, and brute force could not be used here. So his options were little, and this was something he would have to pour a good chunk into. He had good amount of funds but not compared to the money bags with the several women sitting around him like very well trained slaves. He knew if he bought one of them that he would get his money worth, but the excitement of the possibility of training your own slave with Calypso had him setting his teeth into it.
He smiled it turning into a smirk he would wink at to her as if saying your mine. Damien sat still with his head leaned on his hand as if bored, waiting for them to truss out who ever it was that was going to be auctioned. He saw the children and had been reminded of those that had already been sent to him via a secondary person.
He had started to be suspicious of who was actually running the business that he was purchasing from. He had found that the younger you train your slaves or servants they tend to behave better, so if he had not just received a shipment of children he would have bought the two that had not been announced yet. He was one to look at the whole situation and not just the goal. He knew some one was hiding his nose smelled a mixture of animal so much so that he could not pick out or single out one person. His nose was good with certain things and animal musk if this thick smelled all the same to him, unless they were very close by or the only animal in human clothing near by.
He sighed shifting in his chair towards the girl next to him who jumped when he moved her way, she would shake like a leaf on a tree until he placed his hand on her back. She bent down to let him whisper in her ear before she nodded, she looked as if the fear was not only from him but the company that was in this place. It was like a Grimms book, all the fairy tale animals at play and a few new renditions.
She watched the announcer as he spoke, Ghost turned to the girl." She is five ten, Coffee colored skin with cream covering the silk of her skin." He would move his hand towards her as if show casing her even if she had not stepped into the circle yet. " Her eyes dark and mysterious, what lies with in them? " He would smile lightly, before gesturing the length of her with out even touching her. " Who wants to start the bid at ten thousand dollars?" Raider knew he could maybe only bid a few times with how high he started. "Cum wi put it to twenty thousand?" (Let's put it to twenty thousand?)
Raider nearly snarled opening his mouth to shout thirty grand, but was beaten by Damien's proxy" Fifty thousand" Raider would grind his teeth with anger. Smokey would stand up with a growl his chauffeur would stand next to him grabbing his arm. " Hundred grand!" Raider lost his anger, he didn't think this bid was about calypso any more. Damien remained seated as his witch shook at the edge of the ring. She would slowly step back her Master still looked neutral when it came to his emotions before he smiled and stared at Smokey and bowed his head. Meaning he conceded to him. Ghost would stand there shocked at the number unable to speak. " T-to S-smokey for a hundred th-thousand." He said with a gulp smoothing out his shirt. Voss listened from a distance watching the exchange he had not seen this outcome, he had expected a fight between raider and Smokey for it. He knew the boy had stashes of money, but never had he seen the king gracing this part of the world. He wanted to leave and quickly but could not, it would raise questions for the king.

"Oh," she said after a pause. "Haha. Misunderstood you." Obviously. Ugh, she blamed it on the fact she was preoccupied. "But yeah. If you can, buy them. Please." And then she was walking inside.
Calypso was hesitant in stepping into that ring. Zoe wouldn't let her go, which meant that Lani had to pry her from her leg. Her palms became even sweatier as Ghost introduced her. But her head was held high, shoulders back as if she was holding on to her dignity - which she was. Her stomach churned at the dark man's wink, yet lifted her lip in a snarl of disgust. He looked familiar... she wondered if she met him somewhere before Jacob took her. But then she was caught up with how Zoe was sobbing and Lani tryng to comfort her.
Those "dark and mysterious" eyes filled with pain for a few moments, until Damien sputed off his bid. They hardened, not knowing who this man was nor why he looked so ... unethereal. A growl, low and hateful, escaped her throat as if to ask "How dare you bid on me?" Though she needn't worry about him.
It was Smokey. The dude that sent her the wink.
A hundred grand seemed a lot. With how Ghost was acting, it was. How can one person have so much money, she vaguely wondered. But when Ghost finally spoke, stuttering his words, a memory came into her mind.
"It's a good thing my brother doesn't know about you. Trust me, Smokey will try to have you for his own. And he doesn't play nice like I do." She was shown a picture, of a darker skinned man with a woman, on Jacob's phone. Right then, Calypso was glad that Smokey didn't have her.
How did life become so dangerous and complicated? The more she thought on this the angrier she became. The hundred thousand. The smirk he gave her. The wink. How he could just expect anything because he had money.
Okay, so she might have been thinking about Jacob pon the last bit, but they were brothers. There couldn't be too many differences.
She hated the hand she was dealt. Loathed it. With one quick thought, she grew taller, furrier, and more fearsome. Her sundress ripped in a few places. Her feet became to big for the shoes. It didn't matter, not now. She shot forward like a bullet from a gun, quicker than a normal cheetah, who could run around sixty miles an hour. Her claws were extended, reaching for his face.

Voss saw this all falling apart from a distance, his smile was something he could not help. That kind of anger shoved into something more then revenge would be usefull if she survived the night. He would purchase her back and then some if she proved she could be trusted, though she didnt know that. He would get back into the truck and watched. Raider wondered if Lani knew about Calypso, and if she didn't she did now.
He felt the urge to change but the gun even though a larger one was hard to handle in his form. He started having La La load their clips, she was a crazy woman and used silver in all her gear. She said it gave her an advantage, he thought she was just crazy. He turned the gun on Smokey but it was soon from his hands as some black thing ripped it from him throwing it back towards the truck. Turning his attention to the man that had arrived seeing the black slither back to him. " You will miss and hit her. Wait" He did not shout, it was all most like a whisper.
Smokey remained in human form as he watched her transform, the smirk on his face only grew at her anger. Sakina ripped through her transformation drawing the sword sliding to be in front of him in a few steps. Letting out a loud roar she kept her eyes tracking the cheetah, her deep emerald eyes watched the girl. She wanted to make the cut clean if she could not stop her by making her fear her. " Step off!!" She growled swinging the sword out moving it before the girl.
Stepping back to guard him if she went around she would make a swift cut towards her, the objective was to keep him alive if that meant killing her she would do such. But if it could be avoided she would try considering he just purchased her. "Mi bredda say yuh did a sweet peach To bad yuh been stolen to soon hm?" (My brother said you were a sweet peach. To bad you been stolen to soon hm?) He said this on purpose to drive her into more anger, he knew he was safe. It would take him a moment only to change which he could do easily, this he would do if she happened to survive and break her of her bad habit of stepping out of line.
Raider growled as he started to change his white brilliant fur fluffed out, he noticed that Damien did not interfere this time. He wondered why he didn't rip the sword away from the woman, did he really know that he might hit her? He would dash towards them Ghost would move over to Lani and the girl crouching down." Hey sweet peas, you two ok?" He crouched down, Zoe looked all most like his daughter had before her murder by his old pack. Violent ends for violent means, he pulled out a sack of candy. He would not let any one buy them, he was against Voss shipping children across the sea. It was against his code, but he didn't know the reasoning behind it. He learned not to ask, but if it continued he was gonna slip away in the night. He smiled to them trying to calm and distract them from what might happen.

Calypso snarled, paying attention only to the man that rightfully bought her and his body guard. She was aware of the sword. Aware of the cat holding it. She didn't want to die tonight. Or any time soon, for that matter. But she didnt want to be bought by Smokey.
Her tail swished the ground, pristine fangs glinted, and an ear twitched. She was gauging her chances with this woman. Seeing as how she's never been taught before how to fight, she was an amateur with even her claws. She did take a step back, though. "Then tell him to take back the bid," she snarled. Followed by a yowl of, "I'm not going to be under another Vossler!"
Calypso could barely understand his patois. But she knew enough that his words kind of startled her. Jacob talked about her, hmm? A peach? It was like Jacob to compare her – his slaves to sweet things, making them feel as if they were safe and they belonged. Smokey's words enforced her anger, yes. Though "peach" was what made her scream in an animalistic manner.
Seeing him standing behind Sakina made her realize that in order to rip that smug grin off his face she'd have to go through the woman. That sword though … her clawed fingernails arched over her head and aimed toward Sakina's cheek. She wasn't looking to kill. Just to get them separated so that Smokey could understand why not even his brother wanted to handle Calypso.
Zoë buried her face into Lani's side, crying as Lani watched the standoff in abject horror. She knew that Calypso was a shifter. She never saw the woman shift though; Calypso hated her shift. It wasn't human or animal.
It was a monster.
Lani had to force herself to take her eyes off them, feeling slightly better now that Raider (a monster himself) was rushing to Calypso's aid. She looked down at Ghost, her body shaking a bit. She didn't want the candy. Her stomach wouldn't let her take it if she did anyway. "No," she said her response, whereas Zoë shook her head rapidly.

Smokey would chuckle loudly before slowly starting to change into his tiger form, he did it slowly only for effect. He was the type that like theatrics to cause fear in others, even though he knew the demon sitting across the way feared nothing. Not truely knowing what he was he thought the title fit perfectly, " Him say yuh neva learn mi ave nuff teaching ahead of mi" (He said you never learned, I have a lot of teaching ahead of me.) He let out a roar as Sakina stepped forward, she growled as the girls attack was fruitless as she blocked with the back of her sword before smacking her across the face with the side of the blade.
Not using sharp side would save from cutting her. Though it did hit odd with how large it was, " Shut yuh mouth Atone before dis gyal ave to dead an yuh out Hundred thousand" (Shut your mouth Atone, before this girl has to die and your out Hundred thousand.) Sakina hadn't noticed that she had been scratched across the face, she didn't know if she could hold off the wolf and the cheetah. She was surprised when the white wolf grabbed the cheetah pulling her back. " Are you nuts?"
He seemed concerned as he held her close him trying to keep his grip tight, but he was sure she could wiggle out of it and that concerned him even more. He could not keep a eye on every one here and he did not see hardly any one guarding the place that was from the pack. Damien would yawn as if bored with what was going on. " Why? Why? Let the man and the woman fight. They need no other in their way. I want to see the tiger and the cheetah duel. Perhaps the lazy cat can back his words up, hm?"
Ghost would smile to the girls," I know this place is not a very good one is it?" He knew that Lani was old enough to have sense but he was not sure about Zoe. And talking in a different manner might scare her more, so sweet baby talk was better then a more adult form that Lani might prefer. She seemed to like to know the truth about things. " You two have not to worry your friend will be fine. Trust me" He reached out to gently ruffle her hair but thought against it. Standing up he would turn to stretch, " This might be a good show but that is what the pit is for, this is where we buy and sell goods. Today it is flesh. If you want to discipline your merchandise take it else where. I have business to conduct."
Damien would sigh and wave his hand as if saying he didn't care either way before his witch started to make him tea, pouring from a odd tea pot the liquid was dark and smelled of honey and pomegranate. She would present the cup before he would take sipping on it, his royal eyes watching the group at their stand off. Seeing that Atone had not said anything else he was either to angry at his own servant to speak or thought she was right.

Calypso watched him shift, her eyes narrowing. It looked like she wasn't scared, though annoyed that he was taking longer than necessary to shift. He was just like his brother: more dramatic than a prima donna. Had she been human, now, it might have worked. But she was angry. At herself and him. "I'm not going to be taught because I'm not going with you!"
She didn't see the blade coming, making her hiss before taking a step back. It wasn't out of fear, but to make sure she kept all of her limbs. But there was a little feeling of triumph when she saw red scratch marks going down Sakina's muzzle.
Well, that was before Raider pulled her completely away from danger. Her tail swung to an fro to keep from her feet completely going out from under her, and when Raider stopped pulling to keep her close to her, she growled out, "She's holding a sword and you think I'm nuts?"
And she did wiggle away from him, Damien's words renewing her will to make Smokey drop the bid. "How about that?" She didn't make a bet on it. Bets were what got her in trouble – what got her to be property in human trafficking. Besides, she had no experience in fighting. She'd surely lose. "Because I'd rather wallow in mud with a pig like you than be taught to please one."
Even though she wiggled from Raider's grip she stayed by him.
Zoë nodded her head, believing him. He was nice. And reassuring. Sissy can't die. That's HER Sissy. Sissy has to stay alive for her. Lani, though, had her own doubts. She wished she had that childlike trust that Zoë had. But it was hard to picture Calypso walking out of here without being bought and taken by Smokey.
"If I end up going with you I'll make it hard to be taught. More days than not you'll end up wanting to kill me." Calypso's words were more controlled, now that Smokey was silent. "Making your one hundred thousand wasted on something that refuses to work. I know the value of money. And you just overpaid something that was worth – what – five grand? One?" She spread her hands out to either side of her, still wanting his blood to spill, but opting for an easier way to stay out of his hands. Even if it meant downgrading herself. "Besides, the auctioneer is right. He has business to do. And I absolutely refuse to go anywhere with you if you're going to 'discipline' me."

Sakina thought this girl was a nut ball with what she was spouting, saying it does not make it so. She would sheath her weapon since the girl was not attacking, she would sit down on the cushion she had been before. watching Atone she would yawn and stretch out before curling up, she growled it sounding more like a purr then anything as her tail flicked back and forth. Smokey would slowly walk towards her and Raider he had nothing else to say but this. " Bredda all suh say yuh did batty as a loon" (Brother all so said you were batty as a loon.) He looked to Ghost who shrugged, "Give har to di otha man mi wi still pay yuh an him cya gimme one of his girls mi sure shi wi be broken inna much by him"( Give her to the other man I will still pay you and he can give me one of his girls. I am sure she will be broken in much by him.)
Raider had lost his breath at the stat-meant, seeing Damien smirk it sent chills down his spine but was revealed once the man spoke. " Sure you may have one of my ilk. But no need for such a disobedient pet, the children I take in stock are easy to train as servants. Anya," He would gently reach his hand up an brush her face which caused her to tremble in fear. " my father taught her to be obedient and gave her to me as a gift before his passing." His smirk turned a little evil. " She listens very well and does as she is told. Isn't that right Anya" The witch would stand still as his hand dropped from her. " Yes Master" He waved his hand, " let the boy keep his mate. I have no need for a disobedient dog, and do not wish to separate a blooming couple. "
Raider would slowly calm down his clothing torn as he slowly shift back to human, it looked as if a cat had shredded his cloths and gear. " Calypso go back to the girls and head them to the truck" was all he said as he breathed heavily watching Atone, who kept a angry eye on Calypso. Before he would smile and laugh."Wah eva as lang as mi get a gyal to tek yaad." ( What ever as long as I get a girl to take home. ) He would sit down in his cat form his tail curling around to flick petting Sakina gently on head as she lifted her head and placed it in his lap going to sleep her tail slowly stopping its flicking. She seemed no longer agitated, Ghost would walk over to him reaching into the mans breif case and counting the money. Taking the whole thing he would smile to the kiddies and wink at them, as if to say see every thing is fine. He would set the breif case aside, before he would set a stack of his own money on top. " You may exchange your gift and then sell off your girls. " Some few that had been sitting along the side of the circle seemed awake now the spat was over. Ghost would start to announce Damien's girls.
