Crevan would chuckle about her asking the kind of sweets, " Well they range from wafers with chocolate coating them. My favorite is a pepper coated in chocolate. It has a kick to it. Aranel used to love the little flower petals shaped from sugar and white chocolate" He spoke about his wife. Her name had been Elvin for Sarah, he slowly stepped back from her with a smile it was only a little sad. " My dear Sarah I could never lie. Fixing up your hair you could give the goddess of earth a run for their money " He chuckled and bowed again. He enjoyed seeing her blush and being happy compared to last night. He forgot she was suppose to be a witch, at this point it nah matter to him. " Come M'lady" He held his arm out for her to hold onto if she preferred.
Anya bid her friend good day as she moved on down the path towards the tents, She nodded to the soldiers sitting around a tent. Few witches no older then ten wrapping up and packing them up, she wondered why those few were packing up. She wondered if something was wrong, why was Crevan going to the outer Isles. She would demand to go, or say that her king had sent her there to go with them. If he was taking soldiers there was a problem, this was not right and made a chill go up her spine. She would move quickly down towards Crevan's tent. Seeing a few of the men moving things out of it made her shiver. She wondered if they had left already, worry peaked in her stomach.
Crevan would escort her out of the tent either by letting hold on to his arm or allowing her to make her own way. Upon leaving the tent he would see Any who looked like she was going to cry till she saw him and Sarah. " I thought you had left already" He smiled a little shaking his head. He could see that she cared deeply for Sarah as a friend. " No we are going shopping. You are welcome to join us if Sarah wishes"

The chocolate-coated pepper was different. Although she liked both sweet and spicy things, she preferred them separately. Though that's probably because she's never had things like that back home.
Sarah wondered who Aranel was, and why (since he said "used to love") she didn't love them anymore. She caught a glimpse of his sad smile, and didn't say anything. If someone was a open book it was easy to read them. This Aranel was dead. And she meant something to him, that's for sure. Curiosity was getting to her, but she didn't want to bring it up. When she caught up with Anya next she would ask her who Crevan was talking about.
She blushed a deeper shade of red. For fifteen years of her life never had she been complimented by people that weren't her family. And now, since she had been here she's been told that she was perfect, beautiful, and now being practically compared to a goddess. She wasn't used to this – all the confidence-boosters. Silently, with one hand she took the braid down and finger-brushed her hair and the other she took Crevan's elbow.
The sun was bright compared to the tent, making her wince before blinking back tears. She stopped when she heard Anya's voice, and a bright smile lit her face. Of course she wanted her friend to come along with them.
Now she didn't have to find a way to ask about Aranel. "Come with us." She brushed her hair over her shoulder with her free hand as her blush finally died down. "Please?"

Crevan had been happy that she took his elbow and enjoyed the way she looked now. Her hair looked wavy after taking it down, like she had styled it the night before. Turning a smile when she practically begged Anya to come with them, his good nature showing gave Anya rest to her worries of what might of happened. He barely seemed to hate the sight of her today, she figured that was thanks to Sarah.
" Surely, I have all day to be about. Thank you for the invite " She would curtsies moving to Sarah's side allowing her to still hold on to Crevan and be close to her. Crevan would escort them along the road ways to shops for them to look for more clothing and perhaps some jewelry for his pet. He felt odd thinking that but he could not call her counter part, sounded to formally intimate as of yet they had just met. And friend sounded to impersonal to him, being she was meant to stay with him.
He would take Sarah's hand from his elbow and kiss it gently." You two ladies go pick out some more clothes and I will head off in another direction to pick up you some of the things I spoke about." He would bid them ado bowing before walking away, giving them time to chat from his presence knowing that Anya most likely had a lot of things to ask Sarah. Anya would smile waiting for him to leave before she would bounce a little. " How was your first night. I worried about you" She said with a blush of excitement. " You look well. He wasn't mean?" She asked wanting to know.

Relief swept through her at Anya's acceptance. Of course, Sarah felt that she would have said yes, what with the look on her face at first. But the verbal response made her feel at ease. "Yay," she said quietly, but not without enthusiasm.
The walk seemed short to her. Which was fine with her; she was fully aware of the close proximity between Crevan and she. She didn't feel awkward about it, rather she didn't mind it at all. She didn't know how to feel about her reaction. That fear she had of him the night before was completely gone. Considering that he was a vampire and the head of the army, she thought she still would be.
It's all confusing! Her emotions are all askew!
She let him kiss her hand, her ears becoming a tad red as a shy smile graced her features. After that her eyes were glued to him until he was only a speck down the road. Then she turned to her friend and reached for her hand. "It went better than I expected," she said, starting to walk in the opposite direction from Crevan. "He wasn't mean." She was about to go on to explain the details of her first night, her mouth opened to form words, but just as soon as she was about to say something she closed her lips again. She didn't want to explain how she changed clothes in front of him or how she slept on the floor. Even though they were her choices she thought that Anya would take it out on Crevan.
"How about yours?" she finally said, squeezing her fingers and still feeling Crevan's kiss on her hand. "Did you get in trouble?"

Crevan would walk around the corner stepping up into a corner shop of jewelry, the man inside had the air of a snob his nose pointed to the sky. " Good morning Sire. " Crevan would give him a nod before moving to the counter. " I want your best something that goes well with golden hair. " He had seen the hair piece she had that seemed to have a personal touch to it. He had no such gift to preserve a rose, he was sure if he had not stunted his magic growth he could do more. But that had been a personal choice. The man had a nazel like voice as he spoke. " Yes sire right this way. "
He moved down from the simple trinkets to more elaborate ones. " This one here is a rare piece. A platinum encrusted broach with Pure white diamonds. I can have one in your family crest if you like. " Crevan would nod about to turn to look at something else but a item caught his eye. It was a blue diamond necklace with a dragon clutching it in its claw. " I want that as well. " The necklace he said he would keep for a more special occasion if it ever had a chance to arrive.
~*~
Anya was still smiling till she was very vague about every thing, seeing her change the subject to her confirmed it. She would make a face before sighing and shaking her head, letting it go for another time. " No. I did not get in trouble. Not with Damien at least. " She mumbled the last part. Still remembering Armel's words made her frown before she smiled agian. " He seems to of taken a liking to you, yeah?" She saw how well the dress had been tightened that she wondered how she had gotten into it by her self. Raising a brow a little as if questioning why she was being so secretive, she knew they had just met the day before. But she had felt they had become close friends quickly, it was like finding a lost sister the feeling she had for Sarah.
She would wiggle the info out of her maybe some nice dish of food to weasel it out of her. " You want to shop for more girly cloths or grab a bite to eat first?" She grabbed and squeezed Sarah's hand. She noticed the blushes and every thing. " Should we invite killian?" She had seen the way she blushed with him too. Wondering if she could prey anything out of her that way too. She was eager to know more and had a hard time waiting.

Sarah thought for a moment about Anya's words, confused as to who she had gotten in trouble with. If not with Damien, her master, then who? Sarah opened her mouth, only to be interrupted. "Yeah," she said, "I guess so. He didn't do anything to make me scared of him. And he asked me about home." Sarah trailed off a bit, nostalgia making her eyes dim. She couldn't help but to glimpse of Anya's suspicious eyebrow, and she snorted. "Am I going to have to give you details?"
She pursed her lips when given the options, paying more attention to her stomach. And since she had she realized that her stomach was very empty. How she hadn't found that but of info out (since she hadn't ate since yesterday morning) until now didn't register with her.
"Let's eat first," she replied. And then her head shook from side. "Isn't he working? Let's not bother him. Besides, it would be rude not to invite Éloïse yet invite Killian." Oh, she could just see her stuttering like a fool and becoming red as a tomato. And really, she didn't feel like doing that today. Not when Crevan started on that job just as soon as she woke up.
**
Just outside of the city, where Sarah and Anya and Damien passed through a portal into the Isles, another portal was made. The first beings to walk through that portal were five canines, green as grass and the size of young bulls. After that was Kheelan, glamour coating his appearance to make him look like a human man with brown eyes. Behind him on his unicorn sat a younger version of Hannah, a crease in her forehead to show that she was not pleased with vines as cuffs and a gag in her mouth. And then came Hannah herself.
There were a lot of things in her saddlebags. Clothes for their few-day stay, a miniature book and a few colored pencils, and an outfit for her niece that she had not met yet. Kheelan himself had his own clothes, but nothing except for one of the canines that he was not personally attached to for Sarah.
The woman behind him – Felicity – didn't have anything for herself. She had one purpose only, and then it was back to the human realm where she belonged.
Hannah loved her sister, but as she turned her horse so that she could face the rip she had caused to sew it back up she did not say anything. As Norman said her magic did not make her sick. Rather, if she didn't use at least a little bit of it she would slowly go insane. So the sensation had a rush of adrenaline going through her. Despite her anger at the sight of her "mini me", she smiled.
"Come on. Time is wasting," she called out, urging her steed onward.

Anya would frown and shake her head, " No one important" She mumbled before smiling hearing if she needed to give details she would nod. " Of course you should. You both seem so together. I was wondering how close you got to him last night. " She winced realizing how it sounded and had not meant it like that at all. She felt bad right off as she played with her own fingers fidgeting. " Yes lets go eat" She blurted out. " Oh your right he probably is. He can come next time yeah so can his sister " Dipping down the street to a stall vendor, he was grilling some small meat over a fire in what could be mistaken for a forge. " Hot meats, spices and rice!!" He shouted Anya stopping her mouth watered a little. " Resteruant or vendor?" She asked.
Not often did Anya eat very much, only seemed to when her master took to much blood. Other wise it was a nibble here or there on her Masters plate, he always ate a large portion feeding her like a pet. Often she sat in a robe in the morning on his lap nibbling his bacon and snuggling to him. She frowned it had been a long while since any of that happened, food was not need to sustain him but he enjoyed partaking. He enjoyed spoiling her when they were alone. In front of others he was much different, to keep up appearances. He had no Heirs directly any more since his daughter refused to take her place so his wife and him could retire. And he could not kill his wife just to produce another, and each day the throne zapped her inner element to the point days she could not stand. Anya had offered to give him off spring but was told that none would be recognized as a heir.
Tradition was Tradition after all, she came back to her sense after a moment wondering if Sarah had said where she wanted to go. " Sorry " She whispered blushing a little, her full attention now on Sarah.

Crevan had the gifts he bought wrapped before smiling," Send them to my second in command. He will store them for me. " Putting the brouch that was gift wrapped in his pocket as he stepped out of the shop. His armor glistening in the sunshine, closeing his eyes for a moment soaking in a moment. He chuckled and stepped down the stairs to walk for the next shop, his armored boots leaving sparks occasionally. He did not waste time he would quickly bow to the man in the shop.
" I am looking for this size" He would show him on a chart, the man behind the counter would raise a brow. " That is a odd shape sire. Is this for a woman?" Crevan would blush a little. " Perhaps. " The man would smile and move to the back, he would start to work on the cloths. His fingers quick to set up the cloth that needed to be stitched together, The wheel cranked sewing machine started to run as he built from scratch the clothing. " I will do a more blouse like tunic for the give of her..."
He cleared his throat and motioned to his chest. Before he would smile he chuckled. " The pants should not be that hard. Does she have a seperat corrset? One not attached to her dress?" Crevan would shake his head. The man would smile pointing to a shelf. " Help your self to her size. I will throw it in for free for the amount you are buying now. "

The road to the city along farm land and smaller towns with pubs, when seeing the unicorn and bound girl the windows would close or the people would move away. The throne room would light up with pulses the throne trying to signal some one that some one had entered the realm. Having no one to alert the room would darken after a few moments, Damien in his office had finished up a good chunk of his paper work. He realized that having Anya around him when he was suppose to be working was bad since he never payed attention to the paper work. He chuckled an shook his head before stretching, picking up some of the unfinished paper work and fileing it to be had for later. Stepping out of his office locking the door before using a caste magic mumbling the words to magically seal the doors and windows.
Moving out down the hall towards the thrown room to check to see if his wife had snuck back in or was still away. Not seeing her and it darker then usual he would stop and wait a moment before the throne would pulse. He moved towards it reaching out his hand to it, his first mistake the vines lashed out and pulled him to it. Dark viens formed across all his bare skin, he let out a deep roaring growl as it was trying to suck all his magic from him. Ripping from it had him on his knees far as he could get from it with out walking. Gasping for air his body sweating pheramones of fear filling up the vast room. The room would return to normal after the vines went dormant again.
Only after he had cuaght his breath standing up could be possible, yet shakey on his legs. " Parasite" He panted feeling weak, and it had only latched on to him for a good minute. He could not imagine how his wife felt sitting there for a hour or so. Or perhapse it was because he was male that it tried to snuff out his life. He stood there staring at it losing time still trying to regain his full baring waiting for who ever had enter to come.

Sarah knew what Anya meant. At least, she believed she knew. Anya wasn't like the perverts she had gone to school with or Xavier's men. Shoot, when talking about marks with Éloïse and Killian Anya didn't say a word, too embarrassed to do so. (Sarah had an idea that Damien's mark was somewhere intimate. Though she was curious as to where it was. Kind of.) "Well, I dunno about close. I chose to sleep on the floor," she said finally, hinting that he had offered a few choices to sleep, even his own bed. This bit had her looking down a bit shyly. Then with her free hand she pinched her friend's arm gently.
"That's all you're getting from me."
The aroma of the meat the vendor was cooking had Sarah salivating like a hound. Her eyes closed, and with a smile on her face she discretely sniffed the air. "I say vendor," she murmured before chuckling a bit. But not even the sight and smell before her could keep her from noticing the fact that Anya seemed to be in a daze.
First, she snapped her fingers in front of her face. When that didn't work she wiggled her fingers. "You okay?" Sarah asked. When she got a reply she grinned a little. That blush had her wanting to know, "What were you thinking about?"
**
Kheelan didn't mind that people were being scarce as the troupe walked down the road. They must know that he was a faerie, he conjectured. And yes, he knew that the people that knew of the Good Folk's ways didn't like them. Especially the half-dragon that seemed to wiggle his way into being the next in line for the Seelie throne, since he and his brother (Sarah's father) and sister weren't even remotely related to King Oberon.
Even King Oberon had suspicion of him wanting to keep his princely status until he had Kheelan execute his brother before him for treason.
Before his emotions had him loosing focus on the task at hand he ripped open the satchel at his hip and pulled out a shirt of Sarah's. It had a stale scent, since she had been gone for at least seven months. But he made sure that Hannah grabbed a shirt from her dirty clothes pile (her adoptive parents left her room alone since she first went missing). Not only that, but his cu sithes were excellent trackers – they weren't deemed the "harbingers of death" for nothing.
The alpha of the group stepped forward confidently, followed by the rest, as he leaned down from his steed. A few good sniffs later, and they were on a trail. And it seemed that it was recent; the barks were echoing.

Anya would blush at her friends asking what she was thinking about. "I ...Uh nothing important" Her blush deepened. " Well I wont try and pry any more if it was close to being asked to be some ones Scion. " She whispered the last word as she looked around. " Shaved meat and rice mine with spicy sauce please. " She said fishing out some money from a fold in her dress. It looked like a secret pocket. " And what ever my friend wants. The money were coins all different shapes, sizes and coated in gold. The vendor would wave his hand as if saying her money was no good.
" Please anything for the Kings Scion. " Anya would shake her head. " No I am just a pet sir you will take the money. " She would make him take the money, he looked as if he felt he would be beaten for doing so. But she smiled to him and he took the money giving her food." We should talk some where else, where would you like to sit an eat?" She asked not trying to rush her to make a discion. Anya held the little odd package of food in her hand, is if it was warming her fingers from the container.
Crevan would pull one down setting it with the finished items. " I would like this delivered to the tent encampent. My second in comand will have it packed with the rest. Thank you Cluade." He would bow to him before smiling and walking out of the store leaving money on the counter. Feeling the sun on his face he would smile, he enjoyed the time in this realm.
Being in the human realm made him feel weak during the day. tolerable. But weak. He took a intake of breath before walking slowly down the road, his mind was else were this day and all becuase of the girl. The smell in the air was different though not alarming, he put it out of his mind heading towards his men. He would give Anya and them plenty of time to spend together before they had to go.
~*~
Damien let the minutes tick by he knew that any one coming to the city would have to pass through the wall. Though if it had been the group that norman had been delivering the letter too, he imagined they could find away around the magic protecting the city. He move out of the castle slowly, his guardsmen slowly falling in line. " Alister to my brothers side" One of his men would turn into a Falcon before taking off flying quickly over the buildings below searching for Crevan.
Swooping down low past patrons before tucking up and landing on Crevans shoulder having him stop in his tracks. " Alister?" Flying down he would morph into a man before smile, flipping his hair before chuckling." Ja, who else?" Crevan would give him a glare before Alister would blush a little. " Oh com en eh? Don' be looken at me like dat Ja?" He would chuckle. " Wer be urn pet, Ja?" Crevan's face went from annoyed to worried. " Find her quickly boy" His voice was stern before Alister changed into the Falcon once more flittering off in a made flap of feathers.

"What's a scion?"
The question was made just as quietly as Anya had been speaking. With her voice carrying curious innocence it should be obvious that her night was nothing like that. "Is that what you are?"
At the back-and-forth between Anya and the vendor her brows drew together. Anya was only a pet? But the man said she was a scion. "I'll have what she's having," she said distractedly, and when Anya finally paid (to which Sarah gave thanks to buying her food) she gripped onto her own container and looked around a bit. "Dunno," she answered, louder than her whisper. "Lead the way."
It was then she heard the cacophony of the canine barks. Funny. She didn't see dogs as she walked down the road. And from the sound of these hounds they were rather large. Slowly, she started to walk toward the place Anya and she would sit. Though after a few moments, she pushed the mysterious dogs aside.
She was in another realm, full of surprises – like scions and vampires and magic. Sarah wasn't going to bother with asking about the dogs when more than likely Anya would just say that they were a local farmer's.
**
Eventually, the group ended up at the wall that protected the city. Kheelan had to admit it was a pretty impressive protection spell. And since it was, he didn't want to bother messing with it.
Seeing as how there were guards posted, and the hounds were barreling at them so as to get through, Kheelan leisurely pulled out his pipe (five reeds that made different sounds when blown into it) and waited until the green beasts were ten feet away before he blew into the shortest one. It barely made a sound to human-like ears. But the pack immediately stopped and sat.
"Greetings." He still had his glamour on, making him look like any old human that decided to take a ride on a unicorn. "My companion had been invited by your king to the realm so that she could look for her niece. Earlier there was a dwarf here on my behalf if you need proof – and you know that dwarves tend to stick to their own realms for the sake of their neutrality. I'm sure that there has been talk already."
"So could you please open the gate so that we may go through?" Hannah continued, having her own steed come up to be by Kheelan. Her bright blue eyes were wide and imploring. Nearly begging.

Anya moved away to sit at a small fountain, she waited till they were alone. " A Scion is bonded to A vampire. To be their shadow and all so a source of food. But not just not any one can be one, you have to have a special connection" She said eating slowly enjoying the spices. " I am his Scion. But he is a private man there for saying you have a secret lover in his eyes is frowned upon." She said softly.
Shrugging her shoulders. " King is to have many pets and servants never a Scion. Scions are like what his wife is suppose to be. A mate. " She said softly her eyes going sad for a moment. " So its suppose to be a Secret." She would blush. " Hence why my mark is where no one can see it. Mine is different then a pets. " Ate her full frowning. " Dogs? Those do not sound like hell hounds. " She mumbled
Hearing the screech of a falcon she would turn her vision to the sky her hand covering her eyes a little to sheild the sun. Swooping down and with out landing Alister would morph," Morn to you Anya" Bowing to her he would look to the girl beside her. " Mmm tasty smelling that is, Ja?" Anya would smile to him but say nothing. She knew that he would not be here less the King was concerned with something. " Morning Alister? You mean afternoon." He would chuckle and scratch the back of his head. " Ja Ja Ja. Sorry." He would lick his lips a little.
~*~
The guards would raise their brow at the charge of the dogs seeing them stop like that gave them even more confusing. But upon seeing the unicorn they would lowering their spears into attack formation till the human riding one spoke. " Dwarf? Ah the short shit yeah?" One would laugh. " Sure Sure. "
Waving up ward would make the gates start to creak open them being so large the sound was loud. " Make your way quickly to your destination. " He would move out of the way so they could enter. The guards shifting on top of the wall to watch them, every thing seemed tense; and if they went inside people would avoid them and their hounds.
Once inside the gate would slowly close beind them. Damien hastened down the road his steps quick he had to interccept his brother before he reached Anya and Sarah. He had no idea how he might react to the visitors being the General of war, he knew Alister would take care of them the best he could to the end with the help of Anya. His man concern was finding his brother.

As Sarah ate she listened. And the more she listened, the more she blushed. Just thinking about how last night could have gone when it came to being a scion … well, for starters she barely knew the man. Just his name. And really, she was fixing to turn sixteen soon – if she counted right. Crevan looked to be … ageless.
It was a good thing that she fell asleep on the floor, then. No matter how she would have preferred the bed.
"Oh," was all she said to it though. "Nothing happened like that. Besides, I saw a ring on his left hand." She took a bite off her meat, then swallowed without complaining how hot it was. "I dunno about the marriage tradition – or whatever – here. But when there's a band on the ring finger of the left hand, that usually means you're married."
So, yeah. Even if she was to be a scion, then it couldn't work out. Which got her to thinking. If the king had a wife, then why is Anya the scion?
All of a sudden, the bird that she saw suddenly turned into a man. Sarah only blinked. Not only that, but she stopped chewing at the suddenness before swallowing the morsel. Yeah, she was becoming used to the magic that was within this realm. "Hi."
**
Hannah said "Thank you," to the guards, but had the urge to have a vine grow behind them so as to smack them upside the head. She refrained, her grip on the reins tightening to keep her from it. They just rubbed her the wrong way, seeing as how they disrespected the dwarves – especially Norman – that kept the realms running as best they could.
Kheelan didn't say anything, and instead had the hounds going after Sarah's trail once more. If there were bystanders the hounds would swerve around them, running at full speed toward the girl and the smell of spices that intertwined with her scent. It didn't take that long, the unicorns keeping at a canter with the pack as the sound of baying got louder and louder.
Hannah's sister held on tightly so as not to fall off the back of the white animal, eyes wide with terror while clutching at Kheelan's shirt. Hannah was not far behind, her heart beating quickly with excitement. Finally, her years of searching finally paid off. And hopefully the Treaty was not in effect.
She seriously wished that she had asked Norman before he left.
She didn't feel the intensity like Kheelan had. He didn't have his hopes up like she did. They might have passed Damien and Crevan, but he was not paying attention. Instead, the anticipation that the two felt (and the anxiety and sadness Sarah's mother felt) was their fuel to keep going until they found her clutching her plate in confusion and keeping it away from the hounds who suddenly stopped in a semi-circle around her, Anya, and Alistar.

Anya would blink listening to her speak," His wife is dead. He wears it as a reminder and the fact he is now holder of any land she might of owned. So needs the seal. It is not a wedding ring. It is what you seal letters and write decrease with . " Her tone was sharp for a moment before her eyes sadden. She seemed to think Sarah thought ill of her in how her words were placed. Her attention would be taken by the hounds surrounding them, she frowned slightly her hand slowly going into her beg pulling a tome and placing it on her lap with her quill. She sat rested and calm. Alister would smile looking down at the dogs, "Oh no, ja ja ja this very bad. " He would sigh shoving his hands in his pocket. " Do nothing Anya,Ja? Your King would be full of sadness if you died today" She shot him a glance before looking ahead.
Alister smiled still he would rock back and forth slowly on his feet, " Do not look at me like that, Ja?" He chuckled lightly standing still. " Oh yes how very rude of me. Hello Sarah. I should of said it before my mind tends to wander." He seemed to be as if waiting on something very dangerous yet with such calm ease. Drawing his tongue across his teeth and fangs slowly. " Good afternoon" He called to Hannah when the Unicorns arrived ignoring the 'human'.

Damien was caught off guard seeing a unicorn galloping down the street followed by another, seeing his brother moving down the side street in pace he would follow. Jumping up grabbing a shop sign and flipping up before landing on the roof before he started to run again. " Damned it all to hell. " He growled seeing his brother moving to intersect with the main road, jumping down plowing into him shoving him against the wall. " What is your hurry?" Crevan was taken a back at the suddenness of the force and seeing his brother. " Wha...get off me. Alister warned me. " Damien growled as his brother tried to push him away. " Wait. They are here with permission so cool your self or you stay till its done. " Panic registered on his face before he shoved him hard his wife's seal lighting up and a force of air tore Damien back. Crevan would quickly cover it and the power was gone. " I am calm till you slammed into me. Now I am just pissed. " He hissed moving out onto the street after them.
Damien watched him go before frowning and running after him like he always did when they were children. " Just grand" He mumbled under his huffing. His heart beat fast and wild wondering if the treaty would remain after all this was said and done, or if his brother would vow to take every last drop of the courts blood.

The sharp tone in Anya's voice took her aback a bit. It seemed that Crevan's wife (it had to have been Aranel. She was smart enough to put two and two together) was loved by all. She definitely hit one of the sore spots her friend had. Her throat tightened a little bit, and she was no longer in the mood to eat.
"I didn't know," she whispered defensively. And that was all she said as she let the sharp hotness on her tongue be the focus of her attention rather than her nagging thoughts and tightening throat. And that was it from her.
She was wary of the dogs, eyes wide at how big they were. As big as the unicorns the two unknown riders – three, she saw. And two of them looked like her – were on. No. That couldn't be. She's never had the desire to see her biological family, since they had left her alone at birth. Even so, she couldn't help but to look at the woman that gave her a teeth-bareing grin from atop her steed.
On a side note, Alistar liked to say "ja" a lot.
"Good afternoon," the woman murmured, a light in her eye. "Call off the hounds, Kheelan," she continued to her companion, and without further word she strode through an open spot between the now-sitting, stone-faced dogs, impatient. Sarah's dress was a stark difference between Hannah's riding jeans and "Nickelback" tee. Despite this she had little sunflowers nestled within the braid that was over her shoulder.
A whistle from the pipe later and the woman was bent at the waist so that she could look at Sarah. "You have your grandfather's eyes."
"What?" Sarah asked after her spell of silence. Her voice was thick; from the heat of the food or from Anya's sharp tongue she couldn't tell. But that wasn't her worry right now. What she wanted to know is who are these people and why is this woman getting in her face.
"Your freckles," she continued, that grin becoming smaller until it was a reminiscent smile. "Just like Grandma's when she was younger. You know, there's a little saying about them–"
"What are you talking about?"
Suddenly, Hannah stood up and stepped back, as if finally realizing that she was invading Sarah's personal bubble. Clearing her throat after looking down to flick imaginary dust off her shirt sleeve, she let Kheelan get off the unicorn and help Felicity down.
Sarah could tell that the two women were sisters. And since she looked like them she had to be related. Or she had a doppelgänger or two. Why was the younger one, who looked no older than eighteen, bound and gagged? "I apologize," Kheelan said, standing behind Felicity so that she didn't try to make a move that was any more treasonous that what she did. "She gets excited easily." With his knuckles he pushed at the small of the prisoner's back so that she could move closer. "My name is Kheelan. Your uncle."
Uncle?
He gestured with a motion of his head at Hannah. "That is your aunt –"
"Hannah."
"I was going to say your name." He glared a little bit. And then he looked at Sarah again as he reached toward Felicity's gag. "And this is your mother, Felicity."
It was unnecessary to say that Sarah was stunned.

Alister yawn a little bit as if bored already, his attitude having nothing left to be desired. Anya gripped her tome tightly looking down at the ground. Leaving her food on the fountain no longer feeling hungry, more sick then anything because Alister said she wasnt strong enough to live if she fought them. Upon hearing them say they were realated to Sarah had her changing her attitude to bewildered. " But.." Flicking her eyes sight to behind them seeing Crevan with Damein hot on his heels all most running into the back of him when Crevan stopped. Who snarled at the shifting.
" It is usually required that you visit royalty before taking your search. " Crevan moved around them slowly, his brother moving around the other side him reaching Anya pulling her close which surprised her making her cheeks blush. His hand would grip hers their fingers intertwining for a moment, he would slowly pull his hand from hers and put her behind him. She blinked wondering why looking to Sarah she was confused as to what was going on. Crevan did not like magic but did not understand why he seemed to not trust them at all. He knew his own reasons, but not his brothers.
" You ok Sarah?" He said standing between them and her. He wondered why the girl was partially bound as if ready for sale. Alister would smile turning into the falcon and takeing off to the top of the buildings where rest of the guardsmen lay in wait. The city streets empty along with the stalls of the market, nothing but birds flying and their calls could be heard. Damien would run his fingers through his hair. " You have found her now you may go." He said in a stern voice. Crevan bit his lip wanting him to tell him what was going on, he would have to pry the info out of him later when eyes were not upon them.
His heart bit quickened wondering if they had come to take her away, his eyes narrowed a little about the thought he was having. Thinking his brother was playing with him, giving him a gift to only have it taken away. He knew his brother enjoyed toying with him on occasion, this time would be different. No longer would he allow himself to be used for his enjoyment. " It is not what you think. " Damian said all most as if he had read his thoughts.
