"Well, you're here now." Kheelan narrowed his eyes a bit at the man that stood in front of Sarah. He seemed to be protecting her. This is interesting. "My apologies. But Sarah had been missing since birth. Hannah couldn't wait anymore."
"Oh, sure. Blame it on me. Jerk." Sparks flew from her fingertips, since she was upset that Sarah reacted so coldly. They couldn't see her behind Crevan, but at Kheelan's words the raging series of emotions that ran through her were also on her face.
She was missing? Surely her face would have popped up on a "Have you seen this child?" poster. And the most her (adoptive) parents lied was about Santa and the Easter Bunny. "Uncle" Kheelan had to be lying.
"We can't leave," Hannah immediately after Damien. And then she hastened to add, "With all due respect, we haven't come this far just to find her. But to activate her powers and teach her how to control them." Oh, so that's why she hadn't found out that she was a witch until Damien said so. "Besides, she can't live under glamour forever. I'm sure you know what that is."
Sarah, who didn't even answer Crevan's question, looked around him. But without stepping ut from behind him. "What's that?"
Felicity caught her eye, her solemn features and angry look at anyone who dared come close making her wonder what had her chained and gagged. Well, the gag was loosely hanging on her neck now. But still. She looked like a prisoner from the medieval times, except with modern clothes and the golden-blonde hair clean. That look that Felicity had softened when she saw Sarah look at her. But then she looked away, ashamed.
"Glamour is the faeries' ability to both create illusions and control their surroundings," Kheelan replied, and almost immediately after that he no longer looked like a mere mortal. Instead he grew about six more inches, had reptilian brown eyes, and tough, scaley skin. Horns had grown from his head, his nose was more snake-like, and occasionally smoke puffed from his nostrils. He was beautiful, in a scary way. "Your father concealed you to make you look more appealing to the human eye. So that you would be adopted. Otherwise who in the human world would take in a babe with patches of scales on her body?"
Her face grew pale, and she looked down in fear at her hands to make sure that what he said wasn't true. But ... he did say that she had been adopted. Which was true. "You're lying."
"A faerie is incapable of telling lies."
"But you're part dragon," Felicity interrupted, standing her ground and not looking at the man behind her. "That's how we could get Sarah out of the court's hands."
"Which was a ridiculous idea," Hannah snapped, whirling on her younger sister. "You made an oath with King Oberon, but decided you couldn't pay it. And now Sarah can't leave."
"Good!" Blue eyes met green ones, anger burning deep within both of pairs. "He would have just tried to see Aunt Aideen within Sarah, hoping that she would be her reincarnation - or a doppleganger, even! And when he realizes that Sarah isn't the one, he would just give her the cold shoulder."
Sarah looked comical, slowly sticking her head from around Crevan to see the arguement as well as hear it. She was confused, wholly and completely. Both their fists were clenched while they squared off, lips in grim lines. It was hard to tell from Kheelan's face, since he now had dragonesque features. But his eyes gave away his thoughts. Sarah looked at those eyes in the mirror, of course she could tell what the man was feeling. "She would have been left to fend for herself, becoming as cold as the Unseelie. No love felt - "
"She would have, too, felt love."
"Not from someone that is meant to be a spouse." A scoff sprouted from her, and she turned her head because she felt Sarah's eyes on her. They locked gazes for a few moments, and then Felicity looked away again. "I'll take the seal off. Just like you want me to."

Crevan would look to his brother for a moment before looking back to Hannah" Oh? Well you are more then welcome to spend time with her. But she can never leave here. " He said trying to keep up with their conversation between each other. Damien relaxed a little bit seeing his brother was going to request that she remain, he had been more afraid he would of let her go then keep her. He thought it was time he moved on. Anya blinked not understanding why he felt he need to protect her since they were just there for Sarah. Did every one really think she did not think rationally? She looked slightly sad before looking to Sarah before whispering," Are you leaving?" she didn't want her to but she could understand the need to find out her origin.
Crevan would tense for a moment letting out a sigh." You should think of how the girl would react. And so should of my brother " He shot him a glance. " For all you know you could of all freighted Sarah, regardless of who she might be. She does not know. Moving aside he would give her the chance to see her 'family', Damien would grit his teeth after his brother gave him glare. " Irregardless. This is my realm. Proper channels should of been gone through before you run through here. What if my people thought you were attacking and the guards had not known. It could of ended not well for all of us. " Crevan felt the need to leave but his feet were planted unable to as long as Sarah had not yet asked to leave.

A wagon bumped over ruts in the road as a man played Cavaquinho strumming the small guitar like instrument. A smile on his face watching the scenery go by, something he had seen many many times before. But he seemed to love it as if it changed every time he saw it, as the wagon got closer to the wall he would shake a coin purse near the driver he would snatch it from him with a smile. " Thanks friend for the ride" He would pick up his things before jumping down out the back. The wagon headed towards the wall as the man walked into the grass towards the wall, he would chuckle seeing a camp fire dry yet unlit.
He would set his things down around it. Lighting the fire by staring at it for a moment he would run his hand along the wall, leaving a few things he had brought with him at the fire he would pick up the rest again and walk through the wall out onto the other side." Ah the smell of the city" He took in a deep breath through his nose before walking on. His eyes were crimson swirling with specks of silver, " It has been a long time." Moving along the roads quickly realizing no one was about, he would slow down. Stopping to hide his things but his bow, quiver with arrows and Cavaquinho, he would play gently on the strings tuning the instrument.
" Something seems wrong. " He mumbled moving along the street, sniffing the air his eyes would dilate before a smirk graced his face. " Hmm something smells awefully good" It came out as a growl.

"It's over and done with, now. I will take your words for future reference, so that the Treaty will not be in danger again," Kheelan said in the voice he reserved only for the court. Infuriatingly calm, with a control on his emotions. Sarah watched with awe as the man changed forms again. Back to moderate height, with chesnut hair and round-pupiled eyes. Smooth skin, and no horns. A shiver went down her spine at how powerful glamour was.
It made her wonder how much of a lie her normal life had been. "No," Sarah whispered distractedly to Anya. But she meant every ounce of her answer. No, she wasn't leaving. She couldn't leave, even if the Treaty wasn't in effect. Her friend was here. Her only friend. And honestly, she didn't want to be in an arranged marriage - not when she wouldn't get what marriage was all about. At least here, despite being a servant to Crevan, she would have a chance at that.
When Crevan moved out of her sight and was left to see the people that came for her, she felt ... bare. Stripped of her armor. With the three bitter looks the visitors had, the five green canines that were behind Kheelan, and the grazing unicorns, Sarah didn't want for them to come near her. She clenched her hands into fists, and at the sight of Felicity stepping towards her a foot shifted backwards.
"Sarah," Felicity said softly, as if trying to coax a wounded animal to her. "The seal needs to be broken. Otherwise you'll go insane."
"Insane?" she asked. Okay, Sarah was all for the seal being broken. She wanted to make sure that she was, indeed, a witch. But her heart raced with nervousness. Her head was starting to pound. This was too much for her, it seemed.
"Our family must use their gifts, or the lack of use will slowly consume them. You're part faerie, and part dragon, but even then it won't help."
"Then why haven't I gone crazy, if I couldn't use them?"
Felicity shrugged, then replied, "You haven't come of age. While very young you would have been able to do menial things like levitating little items. Though when you're of age that's when you become who you are meant to be. Call it fate or destiny or whatever." She took another step, and was relieved to see that Sarah didn't step back again. "And you'll be of age soon, right?"
"I wouldn't call sixteen of age," Sarah bit her cheek, still tender from last night. That was why it was easy to make it bleed. And she blushed a bit when Felicity rolled her eyes.
"Either way, at sixteen your powers fully develop. I had originally planned to find you, and be cliche and say 'yer a witch, Sarah' -" this caused Sarah to smile at her reference. Though it was a shaky smile, like she tried not to do it. "But I was charged and ended up in prison." She glared out of the corner of her eye at Hannah. Hannah was not afraid to tighten the binds around her wrists. This caused Felicity's eyes to tear up in pain.
"Sixteen years later, and here we are." Felicity had to admit, she didn't think that her daughter would have ended up in a different realm. The Seer that she saw didn't give her the details. But the old hag was right. And really that was all that mattered.
"Then why haven't you aged?"
"A combination of magic use and the lack of time in the faerie realm." She blinked back the tears that threatened to fall. "There's a benefit to our magic use. Makes us nearly immortal. Since you're of mixed races I won't be surprised that you will live as long as the vampires do."
"Hurry on with it, Felicity," Kheelan hissed impatiently, folding his arms across his chest. "You're reprieve must come to an end."
"A**hole," she hissed back, then without further ado she stepped purposefully forward to stand in front of Sarah. "Are you ready?"
She wasn't. She wasn't ready to see herself as she truly was. That is, if Kheelan was telling the truth. It was bad enough that she didn't like her freaking freckles. But just as soon as she opened her mouth, a word was uttered from Felicity. She startled at the chaste kiss on her forehead, then gasped.
A surge of ... something enveloped her like her father's embrace when she was scared. Comfort. Then she felt warm, as if she was sitting by the fire when she went camping. Her skin itched soon after that. Looking down, a little patch of tough ... it wasn't scales, per se, across her knuckles. Sarah couldn't help but whimper, and looked up at Felicity.
"It's broken," she said in confirmation, and even though Sarah flinched and tried to shy away with gentle fingers she brushed a patch of dragon skin on her cheek. Felicity knew that there was more patches, but the dress covered most of them up. She wished she could hold Sarah to comfort her, but she could (falsely, because Sarah wasn't this bitter) see that she hated her.

Anya would seem to calm down when she said no, she would smile a little glad that she was staying. She would sigh softly full of relief for that, though she didn't know what it meant now. She waited to see what would happen once her powers were unlocked, she knew how Sarah was with putting her self down when she felt against the odds of the world. She wondered how bad it would be now that they were telling her that she would have scales, looking to Crevan to see his reaction and seeing nothing really had changed he still stood there. Though she saw a curious glint in his eye. Crevan would sigh raising a brow" why does she stand trial for?" He never understood the fairy court, thought to be honest with himself he did not understand his brothers court either. Which was his Fathers before them, he was a soldier and a good soldier did not question his King. Did they?
Damien relaxed a little moving to sit down at the fountain, he would pull Anya to him with a smile. "You have no need to teach her. I am sure her mother can do that just fine. She would know what is best. " He did not want Kheelan here, he did not understand what seemed like him a betrayal from one sister to the other. Crevan did not know if he agreed with his brother, but he knew their magic had to be different then Anya's or the three witches house holds. There was a fourth but the queens male was the last of his. " Do feel like you can drop by again. But of course always send a Messenger. Norman is more then welcome any time. Though i doubt he owes you any more. "
~*~
Racing to the smell ended him up in front of a magical lighting bolt hitting before him, a witch appearing in a hood a smile on her face. " Good evening Lord." He would raise brow before rolling his eyes and growling. " I do not need you. Go home. " She would chuckle before shaking her head. " No. besides the last time you said you didn't need me you were up shit creek with out a paddle. " she would grab her long dress and hike it up as she walked after him. He sighed choosing to ignore her as he walked on. Her pace was quick for such a git up she wore. " You have many meals waiting for you at home, you do not need another one. " He would stop and look back at her. " This one smell is new to me. And is not secured by some one. I should rescue it before it becomes a blood whore, so Fae shut it." She would glare at him as he took off again.
" Oh aren't you such a fucking gentlemen" His patients was thinning with her, he had the urge to drain her and drop her in a hole. Though he knew she could drop him quickly now a days, she had been refusing to feed him and the others would too. He had been snagging gifts around the country side before they could be delivered.

Sarah's knees felt weak, and with an unceremonious air sat down on the fountain ledge. Tentatively her hands went to touch her face, as Felicity had done. On her right cheek, close to her jaw was another patch of dragon skin. She knew that it was that, because it had a different texture than her freckled skin - it was tougher. Her hands went up her face, brushing across her cheek bones and her lips and on her forehead ... when she got to her ears, she found that they were slightly pointed. Once she had short, round ears. And now they were pointed.
She felt light-headed.
"She is not on trial," she barely heard Kheelan say. "Her verdict has already been made. But if you must know -"
"King Oberon had his personal medical examiner attend to me as I had Sarah. I nearly died. Or she nearly died. There was a high chance that only one of us would survive. And Foster didn't want that. He and I promised that if we both lived, Sarah would be King Oberon's wife and the first Seelie queen."
A shuddering sigh went through her. "For kidnapping the queen and not following through with a favor from the king, Foster and I commited treason. A crime worthy of death. Guess where her father's at right now?"
"You brought it on yourselves," Kheelan snarled.
"Says the one who executed his brother." But at Damien's words she looked at him with wide eyes. Was he suggesting that she stay and ... teach Sarah? That couldn't be, though. She couldn't leave her sentence any more than Sarah could leave this realm. And she tried not to let it show, but her blue eyes revealed how hopeless she felt.
Hannah's words proved it. "Felicity cannot teach her. King Oberon's words were for Felicity to accompany us so that she could break the seal. And then to finish her sentence." She tightened her fists, and the sunflowers in her hair wilted. "As much as I dislike it, we have to follow orders."
Sarah looked up from staring in horror at her hands, meeting Hannah's eyes. Then Felicity, who looked down at her own hands. "I don't want her to die."
"It is the way of things." Kheelan moved to his steed, who stood a good few feet away. His hounds obediently followed him. "Hannah, get your gifts. Give them to Sarah. We must go soon."

(Let me know if i need to change anything)
Damien would look to Anya who looked terrified as he listened to them, the horror in her face was pleading. On normal occasions he would never bend to her will, but the Sarah had not only found out she was magical in nature but was losing a mother she had never met all in one swoop. It could cause one person to go mad. Crevan beat him to it though. " This is not your land. Kheelan you were not invited here, Hannah was along with two escorts. Your boundaries do not reach here and neither does your law. "
Drawing his sword push Felicity behind him stepping between the two groups. Damien looked shocked for a moment before he smiled. " What my brother means is that rules were broken. Ones spoken out at the very first meeting of our treaty. Laid bare for all. A pound of flesh for each trespasser. " Crevan would tip his sword to Hannah's chin. " Now since two of higher status entered when one was only granted, it equals out to one whole person." Damien said as his brother slowly drew his other sword. The guardsmen above shifted on the building tops drawing their weapons. " Now I can have my brother carve it from your mate. Or we can take Felicity as payment."
Anya looked even more stressed, she didn't want this either every thing was falling apart and it was most likely devastating her best friend. She felt like her eyes were burning from the tears held inside. Her nose started to hurt as well till they over spilled and eased the sting, her hand wiping at her face as she sobbed. She should not be crying at a time like this, she flipped open her book looking for a magic spell to help. Damien would sigh and shake his head,
" On top of that we only granted the allowance to find said person. I did not agree to release her if you did or to unlock her powers. All of this could of been discussed if you had come to me straight away. Now it seems your tax for entering my Realm is pilling up Kheelan what ever shall you do? Even if we take Felicity as payment, I would still have to make example of Hannah. And I surely do not want that. She seems kind enough...much more then you seem to be. " He recalled his brother had broke a few laws that meant death and the most his father ever had done was whip him like a slave.
~*~
He would stop moving seeing the back end of what he first thought a horse, taking in the situation quickly he would draw the bow along with three arrows. " Has the treaty broken so i can peel the pound of flesh i have been asking for the dear ages? oh how I have waited." Seeing the horn on the animals told him it was not a white stead. Fae would move her fingers strangely like a puppeteer." Spider incanta web vă dușman lui , rotire , rotire , rotire . Le înveliți în mătase de oțel ."(Spider web enchant ye foe's, spin, spin, spin. Wrap them in silk of Steel. )
Web would splash out from every direction towards Kheelan the steeds along with the hounds and Hannah. The three arrows would light up in three different colored fire," I leave the kingdom to you boy and it all goes to hell in a hand basket very quickly. Since when has any of these fools been allowed on our land" Though he spit venom he did not let his arrows fly yet, even though he once had been ruler he was no longer. His son has been waiting for years to bleed him out and kill him, he was not about to give him his head on a silver platter.

Despite the fact that Hannah had a sword under her chin, Kheelan chuckled. "I have not broken the law when Hannah was to go with two escorts. I am the only one with high status, to begin with. She is merely a witch. But since Hannah was the one to be invited I escorted her. Felicity has, as well, even if she was bound." He was going to add that Hannah was, in fact, not his mate, but he was interrupted.
"Kheelan." Hannah looked askance at him, heart beating rapidly. "Just let her go. We'll deal with the consequences when we get back to court."
"Do you realize that when we do get back he'll have our own heads?" But just before Hannah could answer they were swept up in the web. The equines whinnied. Kheelan's hounds howled and struggled fiercely. Hannah couldn't use her magic, since her hands were bound. Kheelan himself switched off his glamour and set himself on fire. In doing so he hoped that the webs would let him free.
Felicity wasn't expecting for Crevan to push her behind him; she stumbled and nearly fell. But she caught herself, and turned to look at what was happening in slight horror. Even though she was bitter and angry at her sister, she didn't want to see her die. Kheelan … she didn't care for. But he couldn't die, either. He was vital to the court. Surely if they made it out of here alive King Oberon would see it too.
Sarah, who was stone-like as she sat and watched with wide eyes, startled Felicity when she stood by her side. The young mother could tell that she was speechless in her now-golden eyes. And for a few moments she metaphorically saw her father-in-law's treasure trove in those irises. But at the slowly swelling tears and quivering lip she looked toward the man that pushed her behind him. The one that seemed protective of Sarah.
She didn't say anything, but the stare at the back of his head would hopefully get his attention.

Damien would watch his brother carefully he had never seen him so protective before, not since his wife had passed. He raised a brow before turning attention to Kheelan, " You both may leave at any time " Anya would seem to be pulling words off the page of her tome, "Scut de lumina lunii și stelelor , cuprinde Împăratul meu ." ( Shield of the light of the moon and stars, encompass my King.)
A light went around Damien he frowned not understanding why till the fire of the dragon caught the string singing down it past him but stopped when it reached the barrier. Damien narrowed his eyes, " Last time. Leave with your lives intact" Crevan would frown feeling as if some one was staring at him, a chill going up his spine, two Guardsmen move before him as he turned around.
" Is every thing all right?" He asked putting away his smaller blade, sheathing his other sword as well. Seeing the quivering lip he would raise a brow wondering if it had to do with him or the fate of Kheelan and Hannah. Damien watched his father carefully his hand twitching a little with anger, though at the same time relieve at him being there to help if things went sour. Fae smiled as she moved her fingers the spider web trimming away from Hannah she saw no need to hold her. Fae dust her fingers a little as she strode past the Unicorn the man would snarl a little. " Get back here Fae!" She would smile" Shut it, I am going to see if my daughter is ok. " Walking past the guards touching her daughters face." Anya you ok?" Anya could do nothing but blush deeply and back up. " Yes mother I am fine " she all most whined with embarrassment.
She felt as if her own mother did not think her magic was good enough to protect her or the king. Turning her face from Fae she would pat her cheek a little before smiling. " I can be concerned cant I ?" Her fingers twitched a little as if she was well aware of what was behind her, shooting them a glance. Celestine would snarl with rage dousing the fire from the arrows putting them away. " Devil woman" He muttered moving past them." Boy you best..." Damien wielded on him. " King ...Not boy...not son..King. You best learn this quickly old man. " Celestine would take in a deep breath and bow to him his anger boiling. " Yes my king" His tone less then enthused but kept his tongue from wagging more to get him in trouble.

Sarah barely remembered them leaving, looking back on this moment. When Hannah and Kheelan and the animals were freed they didn't say anything more than a word to rip the portal between realms open. Sarah didn't receive her gifts. Her mother was still bound with the magicked vines. The animals' cries had echoed in her ears.
Instead, she looked up at the man that was her master for a few moments, salty water blurring her vision. She knew that she wasn't the only one that broke down even further when someone asked if they were all right. Though still she found it embarrassing when even her habit of biting her cheek could keep the tears from free-falling.
She was acting like a child for a lot of things. Sarah found out that she wasn't just a witch, and her skin proved that. Her biological mother just randomly popped into her life, and nearly lost her own life in return. Her eyes beheld Crevan's sword at her new-found aunt. Her uncle was a complete jerk. She was still upset from earlier, with the revelation about Aranel. And she wanted to go home.
Strangely, she didn't know where home was anymore.
Without speaking, so that she wouldn't cry loudly, she turned her back on all of them and wiped her face with the heels of her hands. Sarah couldn't help it. She felt as if she was going mad.
