Sarah exaggerated a sigh, as if she were upset yet she knew Anya was going to say that she knew. But there was a twinkle in her eyes that showed she was only playing. "I should have known." This was followed by a giggle.
"Everyone saw," Sarah amended shyly, feeling a blush rise to her cheeks. Seeing that Anya wanted to say something privately she leaned in closer as well. The questionshe asked shocked Sarah a bit, though she thought she should have seen it coming. Glancing to see if Crevan heard (because this would be so embarrassing if he did hear), then looking back to her friend when he seemed too busy looking for something, she answered, "No."
That was because his first impression had been ... a mix of good and bad. Julian acted like a perfect gentleman - to her - until he looked down at her neck. And then he started to talk down on Crevan, which made her angry. Because no one spoke illy of Crevan. Not while she was around.
But she couldn't help but to think of his finger going down her neck, and how it felt like fire heating her skin. Of course, she tried to pass it off as that no one ever touched her like that before, so her body will naturally react the way it did. Though there was that ... stare. It was difficult to keep her eyes from his.
Sarah couldn't say anything more about it, because her attention, like the majority of the ball-goers, had been captured by the dancing king and queen. Awe filled her features, the blush leaving her as she smiled. They looked ... like they were having a blast. At the very end, concern wrapped its fingers around her, seeing the queen being swept up into Damien's arms and carried away.
"Is she going to be all right?" Sarah asked, gently biting down on her cheek.
*
Felicity metaphorically jumped out of her skin, her jaw going slack as an "Oh!" escaped. Her hand went to her chest, as if to still her beating heart. And when it was at it's normal pace, she glanced at Alister in irritation. "Yes, I am," she said rather neutrally, as if her distaste for the man shouldn't be shown tonight as the ball went on.
After all, it was Sarah's night.
She looked in the same direction Crevan had been, and her brows raised slightly at how close he was to the group. Discretely, she murmured a word and raised some water from a nearby reflecting pool. Like a snake, the water traveled up the wall only to slither through the air until it was a quite a few feet above Julian's head. And then, with another word, that small puddle of water descended on Julian as fog. That fog would only cover the prince long enough to formulate a plan to get far away from the snack table.
That is, if her magic wasn't deflected.

Anya would smile at her answer she as if she was pleased to hear that she preferred Crevan, though she would not say anything to the matter. When the dancing started she smiled enjoying the show the queen and king were putting on, her features tinged with worry though as he scooped her up and whisked her away. But when Sarah asked if the queen would be ok she would merely smile and nod" Of course " She said softly knowing that he was going to get some of her mothers potions to help her hold on.
Anya knew that if she went on the throne again after being from it so long it would kill her. It was a bitter feeling Anya had, she enjoyed Damien but would not see it with out Liana. The woman was a sun ray in a blizzard, something Anya thought was rare. She would suddenly become a little uneasy at how the whole room stopped it's wonderful dance that had started after the queen had been spirited away, to only be staring at Sarah red tinging the eye color of every one in the room who were vampire. Anya would shake slightly as she placed a hand on Sarah " Do not do that " She whispered softly.
But it was far to late for all that as she noted Crevan stiffen at the smell his eyes coming from the prince to focus on Sarah. " Sarah come to me " His eyes were crimson orbs of like they were lite on fire, the couples would part and start to move slowly staring directly at her. Julian having sated his blood need moments ago was unaffected like the ball-goers, He was busy trying to see past Felicity to Sarah. Now there was danger every where and his attention askew.
~*~
Alister would smile seeing her jump and exclaim gave him a short thrill, he would raise a brow when she found her target. Since he was the king's guardsmen and not the young mans and currently guarding Sarah he would not interfere with her efforts. However when the fog slipped around Julian to conceal him Adisa would whisper from across the room now seeing her Master was in trouble," Transporta apa din aer , deplasa cu o grabă . Face băutură castă în greșeală ta ." (Carry the water from the air, displace with haste. Make caste drink in thine Mistake.)She was not one for rhyming, Anya said is why some times her spells went a rye. She had told her the connection was fickle and would take the words literally or not at all, something one needed to practice regularly. Julian felt the air fog around him briefly only to feel immense dryness the next, this enraged him as if he was being taunted this made him focus from Sarah to Felicity not seeing the sieging ballroom of vampires.
Alister chuckled with glee " I do enjoy a good show " He said before pouting a little" to bad I will miss it " He would step before Sarah his glove being pulled from his hand, He began to speak words in Latin."In cellulis late propagata , sedes tua, et exaudi verba mea peccatum . Classical , Classical , Classical , usque ad mediam Pomp Circumstance.Do meo verbum , et faciam illud , et ter toti in his lamia mures ." (Spred wide cells with in, bide my word and heed thine sin. Dance, Dance, Dance, till the midnight Pomp and Circumstance.Do my bidding and make it thrice, turn all these vampires into to mice.) One by one each one turned into a mouse that stood before his hand, the pentagram burning his hand so that smell of singed flesh filled the air. But instead of a scream from him he would only produce a smile of sheer glee and amusement. After a moment he flexed his fingers and put the glove back on, " Move her out of here now " He looked over to Crevan who would nod, " This way my Lady" He said with a bow. " Shall we dance in the Parlor?" He seemed not in a rush.

Sarah didn't think it was hard enough to draw blood. "Don't do what?" she asked distractedly after letting go of her cheek. Quickly she swiped her tongue against it, which made her wince and shudder before actually tasting the metallic liquid that was on her tongue. Quickly, she swallowed, looking back at the crowd. Her eyes grew wide, uneasiness slowly – so slowly – turning to fear.
At Crevan's command she looked at him, startled. He's never said a command before. With her it was always suggestions. And like a good girl, she wanted to follow that command. At the same time … seeing his eyes as red as angry fire made her want to turn the other way. She remembered the other day, with the infected. How blood-thirsty Crevan absolutely terrified her. But tonight, she knew she had herself to blame. Sarah's cheek-biting habit had these vampires moving.
It was then, between Crevan and the rest of the ball-goers, that she decided to do as was told. Recalling what Julian said earlier, she suppressed the urge to run in fear. She walked stiff-backed toward Crevan before stopping just shy of touching him. Her eyes were on her hands, folded in front of her. She didn't even look up from them when Alister stepped in front of her.
She only looked up when Alister bowed, relief washing some of her fear away. Yes, she would love to get out of here. As quickly as possible. So she reached down to pick her skirt off the floor a bit and took Alister's elbow (if offered). When it became apparent that Alister was not in a rush, she trusted that there was no more danger – after all, the guests were now rodents – and breathed deeply.
I really need to stop biting my cheek.
*
For a few moments, Felicity felt triumph seeing the fog settle around Julian. Though when it dissipated, a scowl slapped itself on her face and she clenched her hands in irritation. She met Julian's eyes in defiance briefly before catching on to Alister's words. A sharp look toward Alister later, her blood ran cold.
He was a demon.
She felt light-headed, but she stood her ground. The smell of singing skin had her scrunching her nose and sparks fly from her fingertips.
For her family, demons were bad news. There was a demon that cursed Aunt Aideen's doppelgänger which caused Aideen to not become queen of the Seelie faeries, and after that Aunt Aideen's only daughter summoned another demon to destroy her family. And there was a rumor that there had been a curse set on the family that they would never have good luck in love. And that's why the witches would stay with their lovers for no more than half a year.
Needless to say, demons were bad news.
And Crevan just letting Sarah close to the man had her losing the respect she had for him. And her irritation for Alister grew into something more than that. Hatred? Fear? Possibly. But whatever it was had her forgetting Julian and following her daughter, equally as pale as her.

Alister like the mad hatter whisked his charge away to hide, moving from the ballroom as the large clock in the tower bonged twelve times for midnight. But on the third noise the Vampires popped back to normal turning to follow the escaping group, Crevan had been hot on their heels his hand on his sword encase he had to cut some one down to protect Sarah. Though there was a underlining need the scraped at the back of his mind, his thirst had been for years put aside because of his refusal to do so with out 'her'. Now he saw something in Sarah that he had not seen since 'her'. The blood lust had one issue with it that he has seemed to overcome over years of training, a deep need that is not sated often drives one insane with a prolonged effect. And most assumed he had over come this problem, but he was clever in cutting himself off from the rest when he would feel the effects. He could come back from the little bits of madness that had started to form in his head, some times he would find himself in the stables and one of the stallions dead on the floor. It was not a permanent fix. It was only temporary that he would feel the need gone, not to mention him feeling weak after doing so. All vampires gave the allusion of being unstoppable it is what has kept them alive for so long, but every being has a weakness.
Even Alister but only a few knew his and that was how he wanted to keep it, " Happy birthday My lady " He shouted over the party that was spilled through out the castle. The gonging of the clock rang out over the music making the people stop to turn to see Sarah running, one whiff and they knew why some of them held a calm nerve while others scrambled to get to her. He would smile to the group" Saltant in lumine lunae, et melius , et vincula et catenas concitatum ."(Dance in the Light of the Moon , and even better , do it quick with chains and Fetter.) He frowned as if he had forgotten part of the words to it, seeing him become afraid for a moment till chains would appear and lock them up. " I ....I said it wrong " He said softly wondering how it still happened. Crevan would growl his hand out stretched " Move Alister!" Which had the demon moveing Sarah quickly up the stairs away from them. " Up up we go once in the clouds will never come down " he laughed seeing Crevan having trouble keeping up. This had Alister pausing only long enough to sniff the air, " Souls " was all he whispered before pulling Sarah along.
~*~
Julian would move out of the ballroom heading through secret passages so that he could cut ahead of Alister. He wanted to get Sarah away from the demon even though he knew he would not hurt her, he just disliked having them around at all. Alister had a whole group of demons that protected the king and queen. Adisa tried to keep up with him only to lose sight. This angered her as she let out a scream and punched the wall all most breaking her hand, biting her lip she would snarl lightly moving out to go directly down the hall. If she had not she would of gotten lost in the secret passages, she had not explore them all as Julian had.
Seeing a maid cleaning the hall and changing the linen in the rooms, she would slow down not wanting to seem to be in a hurry. " Is your room on this floor?"The maid asked softly, Adisa would laugh and shake her head. " My room is with the prince." The maid would blush and nod " Sorry I am new " This had Adisa pausing for a moment, she did not know of any new maids.

Sarah wasn't sure if it was adrenaline or fear that was pumping through her veins. But she found that it was quite easy to keep up with Alister, unlike the last time she walked arm-in-arm with him. With one hand nestled in the crook of his elbow, she hitched up her skirt a bit higher so she wouldn't trip on it. Her breathing was a bit shallow, but she managed.
She looked back every once in a while; seeing Crevan and Felicity at his heels encouraged her to keep going. The first bong that resonated through the halls startled her. Though the ones that followed it had her smiling despite her situation.
It's officially her birthday – the magical one every girl fantasizes about – and here she was, being chased by hungry vampires in fancy dresses and suits. For some reason, as she thought more and more about it the funnier it got. She was sure there wasn't any alcohol that she had. Shoot, she barely ate at the table. Though she laughed breathlessly.
"Thank you, Alister!" she said just has loudly to be heard.
Sarah watched, a bit interested at how Alister's magic worked. And his reaction to his magic had her drawing her eyebrows together. Of course, she wasn't sure what he said, but if he had said it wrong then those chains wouldn't have popped up. Right?
A squeak escaped her at the growl, and she jumped a bit. Of course, she relaxed a bit when she found that it was only Crevan. And that squeak turned into a laugh at Alister's words about clouds.
"This isn't the time to be laughing," Felicity called to her daughter, a nervous frown on her face. After all, Alister was spewing nonsense that weren't spells. And with demons, she wasn't sure whether that was a bad thing or not.

Alister chuckled as he wound clear around the stair case moving towards another set that spiraled up into a tower, stopping at them he would gently take Sarah's hand giving it a light kiss. " Your mother will take over escorting you further. I will remain while Crevan and your mother take you to safety." He rather enjoyed putting her mother at unease but right now was not time for fun. Crevan had broken his vow to never use magic to finish the spell correctly for Alister, this meant he was no where near tasting his soul yet. But the kings may or even a witches, tonight's ball had brought about several who where interested not only in the king's son but Sarah as well. News had traveled far and wide about her apparently, he had noticed the few servants taking view of her for their masters. Not wanting to draw attention as to who, when it became clear to him he began to wonder as why.
He would turn towards the stair case and smile, he was well aware now how he had messed the spell up. Pulling his glove off once more the pentagram on his hand would start to glow as black smoke filtered from it and a ugly leather tome with a eye on the cover and teeth strewn across it. The leather looked like dark black skin stretched and sun dried, opening the book he would slide a slip of paper with burnt words into it " Ignis" was the word he spoke as the bottom of the slip of paper lite on fire.
Crevan pointed down the long hall with windows leading across to the inside garden, one with a water fall and lush plants and grass that you could get lost in it if not careful. " Move quickly " He panted he was sweating slightly and looked even paler, he would have to drink tonight there was no waiting any longer. His eyes were crimson and were going to remain this way till his desire for blood had been sated.

To say Felicity was relieved to see a waterfall would be an understatement.
She looked on, her stomach clenching in uneasiness, as Alister kissed her daughter's hand. After Sarah nodded – too breathless to say anything – Felicity stepped forward and grabbed Sarah's hand. The squeeze she received gave her hope that Sarah had forgiven her for giving her up. And so she squeezed back.
"Yes," Felicity said, nodding in a sure way. With Sarah's silent permission she interlocked their fingers and tugged her toward the garden. She didn't mind getting lost. No, so long as those people that wanted her daughter couldn't find them she didn't mind it.
Felicity's legs started to burn. Her face felt hot, which meant that her cheeks were becoming pink. She could only imagine what the exertion had to be doing to Sarah. One glance back confirmed her worry. A few beads of sweat were sitting atop Sarah's forehead, threatening to fall. She had dropped her glamour a few minutes before, showcasing light blue patches on her body (her cheek and one that crept up from her back and over her shoulder). She was taking shallow breaths, and every time they slowed down just a little bit she winced and her grip loosened.
"Just a little bit farther," she coaxed, tugging on her limb.
A nod, then a few seconds later: "My lungs feel like they're on fire."
Felicity believed that she was simply talking about this running she was doing. "Mine too. But we have to keep going."
"Okay."
But what Felicity didn't know was that the feeling Sarah had didn't come from the fact that she really hated gym class. It had to do with her dragon lineage. It felt like her lungs literally were aflame. And slowly, those flames grew and travelled upward to the base of her throat. Sarah hoped it wasn't what she thought it was. Because a little worried thought had her fearing it was going to feel like vomiting. How the stomach acid just travelled up and out mercilessly.
And just when she was feeling her legs about to give way, Felicity stopped. This caused Sarah to ram unintentionally into her. They both nearly fell. Well, Sarah did, against a staggering Felicity to keep both of their weights. "Careful," she heard Felicity warn, pulling their hands away.

Alister smiled as they took off in a dead run as he hummed something similar to god save the queen, tugging the gloves off with his teeth before slowly putting them in his pocket. His body started to shift a little horns moving out of his skin on his head them dark black like a cow's, as they curls up as his skin tinged to red flooding down the body. His teeth elongated along with the wings that ripped out the back of his suit as he let out a loud bellow that seemed to have pressure of air throwing them down the stairs. His wings stretched out fully before they flapped a few times, taking off before swooping down over them snatching up one of them and tossing them across the room. A large battle ensued as several pulled their swords and fought the swooping demon that no longer looked like the handsome Alister, though his deep laughter boomed through the halls as Felicity and her daughter ran with Crevan not that far behind.
Crevan paused only for a moment hearing the laughter and cursing lightly before coughing as he slowed to stop behind them. Looking down at his hand he had covered his mouth with, it was covered in a small film of blood and saliva. He would pull out a handkerchief before wiping his hand and face, " we should be fine rest by the water fall if you can reach it. " He said softly walking inside the largest garden on record had nothing on the castles. The water fall was still in the distance though Crevan could if he had drank this morning teleported them to the attended goal preferred to walk. It was more of a last ditch ability for his clan, it took much energy to move like that and those that fed daily could teleport as much as they wanted. But it zapped the ability regain energy. Stuffing the cloth into his pocket he would look back to Sarah as he passed them. " The time has come...once we reach the waterfall I will end this little problem " He said softly. Which meant he would mark her and then any that touched her he could directly stand against, right now he could protect them but not out right kill anyone. Only bring the defense that could lose his life if he held back a inch of his own power.
Though as they had crossed the fresh hold of the garden every one but Crevan could hear what sounded like small children laughing. Those that could be seen through and carried a odd mist about them moved around crevan one was a small boy, he would grab his hand and pull him a little crevan would shift a little as if the ghost had touched him. The children would freeze look at Felicity before giggling and darting off, the other child was dark and had no face. In a flash off light they were gone and crevan moved again as he looked up the garden started to alight with fireflies, taking a deep breath his chest would rattle before he coughed and trying to cover it with laughter. His forehead was gleamed with sweat as he walked through the dust of the flying little lights. " Pixies"
He whispered softly. He tensed though when he heard the Vihuela being played his body felt stiff, thought it was in the distance his lip curled lightly in anger. A light vocal accompanied it as they followed the river stemming from the water fall, a small campfire with Celestine and his companion who was humming a song to match the song he played. Him and his father locked eyes as the song paused for a moment before he would look away and start playing again. " Come and rest your tired bones " He called to Felicity and Sarah with a kind smile as his witch hummed.

The hair on Felicity's body raised like soldiers standing at attention. Her ears rang, as if Alister was standing right beside her and laughing in her ear. She hated demons. She was terrified of them. And with that thought process in her mind, she continued on, not registering what Crevan was saying.
But Sarah knew. She kept glancing back at him occasionally, and when Crevan coughed her breathing had hitched in concern for him before looking back. That was when she saw his red eyes for the second time. Like, fully looked at them. And just like before, they were fear-inducing.
"Wonderful," Felicity said, making Sarah jump, blush a bit, and look away. She was going to ask about the blood. Why he was coughing it up. But she couldn't. Not after she looked at him. No, she didn't think he deserved to be coughing up blood. Sarah was still concerned. In fact, she thought that if she let him mark her earlier then they wouldn't be in this position. He wouldn't be coughing up blood and she wouldn't be wanted for a midnight snack by the lot of vampire subjects.
It's just that … it was something out of her traumatic night terrors she had when she was younger.
"Just so long as you don't suck her dry," Felicity continued after a pause. "I've heard that you haven't been eating as often as the average vampire. Actually, I'm surprised that you are the only one that seems to have his head screwed on straight." She glanced back at him, a glint in her crystalline eyes. The glint only a mother has when protecting her young. "I want your word, Crevan."
It might not be big for vampires to give only their words. But when it came to the faeries, a promise was binding. There were no contracts needed. Felicity grew up learning the ways, both Seelie and Unseelie, of faeries. Even the neutral party. For her, a promise was enough. Sure, Crevan could break it, like any other species that weren't faeries. Though if he did make the promise and in the end not keep it, Felicity would bring on repercussions as harsh as the faeries' when they've been cheated.
The pixies were similar to some of the species within the faerie realm. And just like them, they had Felicity stiffen and become wary. An arm snaked around Sarah's waist, and she brought her closer to her side. Her daughter was in awe, it seems. Sarah saw no problem. Even glaring a bit at Felicity for freaking out a bit. A giggle escaped the young girl's throat when she saw a boy tug at Crevan's hand.
Then they were gone. Just with a blink of her eye.
The sound of music tickled her ears, and Sarah found herself relaxing. Felicity let go of her, leading the line with purposeful strides that ruffled the navy pleats of her large skirt. She seemed to be eager to get to the waterfall. Sarah didn't blame her. It was like a checkpoint in a video game. A desired spot to be at.
Felicity turned the corner, then stopped suddenly when the clearing and its inhabitants came into view. Sarah nearly plowed into her, the stop was so quick. But Felicity didn't care. Her eyes narrowed on Fae, her blood boiling with no help with her dark magic. This was the woman that sent her and her daughter and Anya to the middle of a battlefield, putting them in danger.
Felicity hated her.
She did not do as the ex-king told her, despite her body's cry for her to rest. Instead she felt the strange desire to drown Fae. Her fists clenched at her sides. Behind her, Sarah didn't move anymore than shift uncomfortably. "What's wrong?" she whispered to both of her companions.

Crevan would smile lightly " My word is my bond M'Lady " He said before coughing again, he seemed unaffected as before when he looked at his father that seemed not that much older then him. (youthful appearance, gotta love it) He coughed into the handkerchief again as Fae watched him carefully, she was not even aware of the anger directed towards her. " Light snack boy?" She asked and Crevan raised his lip in a silent snarl. He would pass the small group not looking at either of them, " Oh the boy is very parched a mere snack will not do " He shook in anger for only a brief moment before calmly walking on. He looked over water fall still some feet away it had seem so far before. Had they really run that far? He felt confused and tired as the children ran around him once more laughing and tugging on him. Fae would hiss at them before they turned to hiss back. Shining a lantern on them that glowed blue showed them to be gnarled little impish demon looking creatures, the light making them scurry away. " You waste your time with forbidding magic to run through you. You have lost your sight " She said softly setting the lantern down. But she felt soon the dagger of anger towards her and she remained relaxed, " Ah it is good to see you Sarah. All well and safe" She said with a smile that had a underlying meaning. " Your mother too " The extra look was for her. " Do come sit rest while Crevan debates on breaking his vows to be vigilant with out drink " She laughed lightly and shook her head. He would start to play again a song as he stared at Felicity with a smile. " May your brighten smile shine upon me one day" He sang he softly his deep voice echoing across the canopy of trees and off the rock behind the water fall. He would then start to hum softly as he played watching with his eyes of the royal shade. Though his looked much more faded then the rest and did not have the Platinum flecks in them. (Must of been a trait added by their mother) He chuckled lightly strumming the instrument lightly his fingers picking at the strings with elegance with each strum. The light sound soothing and calm as his son stood in the background staring up at the night sky through the glass in the ceiling. When the hoard of vampires made their way to the garden Alister seeming to be no where in sight of them, they would halt as if pushed by a invisible barrier. Each of there eyes held a tinge of red but not looked as Haunting as Crevan's, the red was more of a light color all most pink. Alister would appear next to Felicity just because he loved to annoy the woman, " I see you made it one piece" He said looking himself again as he tugged on the gloves.

Seeing the true faces of the children literally terrified her. It was worse than Crevan's eyes, truthfully. Her natural reaction was to scream and step away from the one closest to her. She stepped away, all right. But her scream was actually a burst of flame. It … felt like a sneeze. How the buildup was almost painful. And then – relief. Thankfully, the flames didn't latch on to anything or anyone nearby.
But the heat was awful. For the next five minutes, all she could smell was smoke. Her wounded cheek stung, and her eyes teared up. She forced back a whimper, quickly swallowed the blood that was bubbling to the surface, and wrapped her arms around herself.
Her birthday was starting out horribly.
Felicity felt like grabbing Fae's slender neck and squeezing. It took all she had not to do so. "No thanks to you," Felicity snapped, grabbing Sarah's hand and drawing her closer. She was too angry to see the woman that she didn't catch that underlying meaning, and Sarah? After she made sure she wasn't going to blow fire again she was practically hiding behind Felicity.
She found that hidden message. But she wasn't good in deciphering.
Felicity flashed him a smile, all right. It wasn't a polite smile. Or a sincere smile. Or a smile of admiration. It was more like … a sneer. Because Fae was his witch. And she hated Fae. And he was condescending toward Crevan. He seemed like a wretched person. And she didn't like wretched people.
They were just about to think of sitting down when they heard the vampires quickly approaching. Adrenaline started started pumping again. Feet began to move toward Crevan. In fact, they were by his side before they realized there was a barrier stopping them.
"Oh, thank heavens," Felicity murmured, keeping her protective stance in front of Sarah. Her relief was short lived; her scream was short and piercing, showing that Sarah was not the only one absolutely terrified. Though her fear wasn't directed toward the vampires. It was toward Alister.
Suddenly she turned toward him, instinctively raising a hand as if to smack him. And she was. Demons were vile, disgusting creatures that needed to stay in their own realm. Whether it be Hell or the underworld or somewhere else. Her family's had enough trouble with them, and she'd be darned if Alister hurt her child.
But Sarah grabbed her wrist just before it went toward his cheek. "Stop."

Alister would chuckle lightly as Felicity tried to smack him, though he felt a great honor for Sarah standing up for him. He did not mind the hatred that Felicity felt for him he thought it was more endearing actually, as he would forever be etched on her mind. He would only lean back a little to allow the room for them to squabble if needed. " I am sorry your birthday has been set back a little Sarah. I am sure once every one calms down we can return to the ball" He said in a deep soft tone.
Crevan would turn to look at the small group and smiled, even if his Father and Fae was in the midst of them. He enjoyed how they seemed to mingle not all on each other's sides, one that was overly protective matched with a mischievous rogue like man. And the young maid all in the middle that sought out to stand up for all her friends, he sighed walking over slowly. " It is her birthday. What ever she would like " He said softly his eyes still that deep blood color.
Alister raised a brow seeing Crevan being very generous as always, even when he looked as if he wanted to devour her. He could see the fang hanging over his lip a little as he bite his lip thinking about what ever he might be thinking about. " Of course what ever she Desires " Alister said with a bow. He knew the queen had pastries and other assortments lined up for a surprise later on in the day. He wondered if Sarah was tired from all the running and how late it was. He was thinking about bringing her some pillows and furs to sleep on by the water fall. He always loved the sound of it, he kept his eye on Felicity though so she could not get the drop on him.

Anya walked past the barrier heading into the garden now that all was said and done she could have a set up for Sarah and her birthday. She wondered if Julian was still lurking about looking for Sarah, once most of the guests had calmed down she put the ball back into full swing. Making sure the servants knew what was going were for the food, not to mention the drinks ranging from floats to hard liquor. Now she was in search of her friend wondering if she had gotten into any more trouble. This thought brought a smile to her lips and a small giggle to come forth from her, she seemed to be always in the middle of some great event. Never a dull moment.
Moving up the small paths of the garden taking in all the sights, seeing many of the night creatures dwelling not far from her. She paid them no mind as a witch most things of a smaller nature left her alone, though seeing the imp like creatures hanging about not far ahead she wondered what was going on.

They didn't squabble. Just as soon as Sarah grabbed her mother's wrist she let go. Felicity didn't go for another hit. But she stepped as far away from Alisteras she possibly could without putting Sarah in danger.
Sarah didn't mind, feeling the adrenaline fade from her. Sleepiness tugged at her eyelids, so she forced her eyes wide open. It didn't help that the ex-king's strumming and Fae's singing was soft and very lullaby-like. She lifted a shoulder half-heartedly at Alister's apology, and nodded at the rest. "All right."
But she looked at Crevan for a few seconds as he spoke, then her eyes looked at something over his shoulder. It wasn't anything in particular that she was looking at, but she didn't want to look into his eyes. It was like trying to force two magnets together when they face the same side. Though Crevan did illicit a slight blush to her cheeks. "We can go back to the ball. The night's still young, right? I'd feel bad if I didn't go back down."
"Though there is still a horde right there," Felicity argued, motioning toward the vampires stopped by the barrier. "Is there a back entrance?"
((I know this sucks, but I wanted to reply when I had some privacy. xD))

(Terrible horrible ending I know. )
Crevan watched Sarah and the fear mounting in her if she glanced at his eyes, he did not blame her at all. Hearing her mother talk had him looking to Felicity and he smiled." Yes there is that..." But when he caught eyes of Anya he relaxed a little more. " We do not have to, you seem very tired. Alister just wanted you to have a happy birthday" Crevan looked to the demon who smiled and shrugged. Anya stopped at the edge of the group. " The castle is begining to settle. By morning all should be calm again. " She glanced to Sarah. " I am sorry if this ruined your birthday " She looked eaqually as tired. Though the magic she used seemed to not effect her this time. " We should rest till morning. Besides i think your mother has been through enough stress as it is." She was more meaning she would not have to worry about her once the sun would rise in the morning. Crevan would smile" I tend to agree with Anya " He did not want a repeat of what just happened.
