Damien would growl lightly when she refused his wife, but she would raise a hand to shush him. " No need my dear friend, you can refuse here and not be sentenced to death. "She would toss her napkin on the table and shake her head. " no I can not ask Sarah of that, regardless of weather or not she can be taught. I do not think she could stand to face them. Not after yesterday. "She frowned before closing her eyes. " I do not need a Ambassador that quickly, and if I do I shall send one of my many advisers instead" She said softly.
She had wanted to stall and delay the woman from leaving with out feeling welcome to coming back. But she had not really thought it through. When asking her to do this, she opened her eyes once more to look at Felicity. " Excuse me I must go for a walk before i retire. Please enjoy your self "She whispered standing up, her husband rising slowly moving to her. She wavered and he would look concerned as he moved quickly to steady her before leading her out of the hall.
Damien stopped when she pushed against his chest standing there he watched her walk away, he had not realized how sick she seemed and fear spiked inside him. He would turn to walk back into the dinning hall," Forgive my wife she is not feeling well" He said softly his voice sounding like he wasn't there, like his mind was else where. He would focus and look down to her as he stood near her," I do hope that you can heal your self over time. "He had a knowing face seeming to know her pain with out truly experience it.
~*~
Alister had not realized he had rushed her so much that it caused her to double over in breathing, he felt a little embarrassed remembering that some did not have the ability to as him to move so fast with out becoming exhausted. " Yes you are most likely a princess or duchess in the least ..formerly in the faerie court. Here if you marry Crevan you automatically become a princess because he was the son of a king."
He shrugged smelling Beignets being cooked and it made him whine lightly. " I ...I am so hungry ....I do not mean to be rude. " He said softly escorting her slowly into the castle not wanting to tucker her out again.
He could not wait to get his mouth around one of those Beignets, the powdered sugar and sweeter syrup made his mouth water just thinking about it. Sweets was his weakness in all senses, he looked down at her with a smile." I knew you were, I did not just hurry for myself" He said with a giddy sound in his voice.
Though that was not internally true, he was not a selfish demon he could have sympathy for others. He had learned over the many centuries to find compassion for others considering he had his freedom ripped away from him.
Stepping ito the castle he would head down through the maze of halls wishing he could of just taken her the back way through the servants passageways. He stalled only long enough for the guards to open the doors, seeing the queen gone and it being only Damien and Sarah's mother he tensed. He knew that if the queen had still been there he could of eaten out right with out having to ask for food, now he had to ask with out really asking.

She winced. She couldn't help it. The growl sent shivers down her spine. So, maybe it wasn't wise to refuse the queen. Though she couldn't go back there the court was absolutely scary when one's eyes have been opened to more than the Disney-like magic. After Sarah's training home was the next step; she couldn't overstay her welcome. Home was not court, but she didn't even want to go back there.
"I'm sorry that I can't help," she said before Liana stood up. She pushed her chair back to stand up as well; she found it rude if she didn't. And she stayed standing until Damien came back in. "There's no problem," she refuted his apology. The sight of the queen feeling horrible made her feel like a jerk for refusing her offer.
She straightened her shoulders slightly, remembering the king's growl and hoped never to hear it again. A nod of thanks ensued, then she cleared her throat. "Is it overstepping boundaries if I asked why the queen is so ill?"
**
Sarah didn't know this, but her father had been what Alister was to Crevan. The right hand and extension of him. He was whatever Oberon wanted him to be. An advisor. Ambassador. He did himself execute people. There was no wonder why Oberon wanted for Sarah to become queen of the Seelie court.
"Oh," she said after a pause, her chest tightening at the thought of marriage with Crevan. She couldn't help it. The thought was nice, but she was unintentionally comparing herself to Aranel. She was more than likely not like the woman in the slightest. Which made her wonder what Crevan saw in her.
At his whine she shook herself metaphoricaly from her thoughts. A laugh suddenly escaped her. "You're not being rude. It's okay." The giddy sound in his voice made her laugh again. "Why, thank you. You're too kind."
The last leg of the journey was a blur, the end of it being a shocker. Well, she did come to the castle so that she could formally meet her biological mother and discuss what was to happen in their training. Apparently she was not mentally psyched for it; without meaning to, she tightened her hold on Alister's elbow. Her eyes crickled when they scrutinized the woman that she bore resemblance to. Even when Felicity smiled encouragingly she didn't leave Alister's side.
"Sarah," Felicity said, her encouraging smile deteriorating into an awkward one.
"Hi."

Damien would gently push back his hair that was slightly falling into his eyes, when he heard her ask why she was so ill he would tense for a moment. " No its alright. In order to protect the city and the out reaching Isle's my wife has her magical energy and life force drained on a daily basis. It of course will eventually kill her unless one of my children marry and take over before that happens." He said softly.
Looking down at Felicity he would smile" My wife is actually perfect for the throne, she has held it ten times longer then our mother. She died not far long after having Laina. " He said softly. " I for one am tired of tradition, but somethings like the throne can not be broken. It is what keeps our people safe from any outsiders. " He would look to the door seeing Sarah and smile, seeing Alister lessened his smile a little. " Come please join us. I am sure you are hungry princess..."
Alister would blink looking to her when her hand tightened on his elbow he would bend to her ear whispering. " Are you alright?" His hand rested gently over her hand. He had been happy to be next to such a kind young woman, seeing her reaction to her mother though had him feeling sorry for Felicity. Whispering in Sarah's ear again," You have to know she did this for you. Not because she did not want you, it was to keep you safe. How could she of known things would of gone the way they had for you. " He patted her hand again wanting to sooth her and keep the peace between her and her mother.
Damien would bow to Sarah before moving to pull out a chair for her, Alister stiffened when he did so feeling it was his job to do so. But saying nothing as he moved to escort her to her seat across from her mother. Gently tugging off his gloves he would stuff them in a pocket of his dress jacket, glaring at Damien as he watched the man go and seat himself where the queen had been sitting.

"That is dark magic."
It was said with such … fear. It was a far greater than Damien merely growling at her. "Magic – the good kind – is not supposed to drain one's life force." She shook her head. So strongly that her pearls bounced. "King Damien..." Felicity trailed off, fixing to say that no one was 'perfect' for dark magic. But she didn't want to upset the man.
Instead, she tried a different tactic. "You have to find another way to protect your realm. I understand that she means well in sitting in that … thing." Her stomach churned, and she didn't feel like eating anymore. "And sacrifice means a lot, especially when protecting something that means a lot to a person."
Believe her, she knew.
"This … tradition has to be broken, not just for her sake, but for your descendants, too. There is another way to everything."
And that was when Sarah and Alister came in.
She hid her fear as best she could from her daughter. A memory came to her mind as the duo came closer: it was when she was in the first stages of pregnancy. After the initial shock and dry heaving, Foster asked for a leave of absence so that his primary concern would be of Felicity and her daughter.
It was as if only yesterday she felt his kiss against her stomach for the first time. That scene was the only thing that was in her mind. The talk of dark magic gone for the time being.
Felicity caught sight of Alister speaking quietly to Sarah. Mostly, she wondered what they talked about when the scene finally faded. And on a side note she was curious as to know where the brute of a man was that stood protectively in front of Sarah the day before.
"Thank you, King Damien," Sarah said, not replying to Alister about her mother. Sure, her biological parents tried to protect her – from what, exactly, she didn't know. But it didn't take the sting away. The sting of being sent away. They didn't even give her a name. Sarah was her adoptive father's grandma – and she was named after her. Not from Felicity's family.
They simultaneously sat down, not looking at one another and oblivious to the dislike between the two men. Sarah couldn't look at the woman that looked so much like her; instead she set the stiletto down gently on the table before waiting for breakfast.
"Where's Anya?" Sarah asked, looking toward Damien.

Alister took her not answering as if she did not want to speak on the matter at all right now. Which he seemed ok with at the moment, he would pull up a seat next to her and become silent. It was because his stomach was growling loudly causing him to blush, Damien pushed her chair in lightly as she sat down. He was aware of the dark magic, why he regularly fed on his wife.
It helped slow what was ever happening to her. " you are welcome to anything Sarah" when she mentioned Anya he had just realized she was missing, which in turn made him feel like a giant ass.
He would start to shrug as if to say he had no clue. The door would fly open to the servants hallway and she would be seen pushing a cart with beignets piled up on a large plate.
She would move to serve Sarah and Alister. Piling his high and powdering them both before drizzling honey on them." I remember when we visited New Orleans that this was my favorite sweet " she said. She had stepped out to speak with the chef knowing Alister loved them she asked for them to be made.
" sorry Sarah I was not here to great you " She lowered her gaze and curtsied to her as if she were vampire royalty. Damien raised a brow till he caught site of the ring.

"It looks delicious," Felicity said, taking a few moments to realize that her mouth was watering slightly at the sight of them. After that she looked down at her daughter's fidgeting hands. One glance to Damien confirmed that he saw the band on her finger too.
A feeling that she had felt all through her time of being a prisoner suddenly flared up. Her family was protective with their own. For Felicity that feeling tripled when it came to Sarah. If she hadn't known how to watch her tongue she'd be spouting off questions as if she were an interrogator.
Where did she get that ring?
Who was this man Sarah was with yesterday?
Why was Sarah blushing like a fool when Anya curtsied?
What was the reason for the girl actually curtsying?
How in the world was she going to meet and speak with this man?
"It's all right," Sarah practically stammered, rubbing her thumb against the seal. "And please don't do that." It not only made her feel awkward for her best friend to do so, but it was rude not to do it back.
Call her weird. So what?
Felicity cleared her throat, getting Sarah to look at her with those golden eyes of hers. "So, about your training. Remember yesterday how I said that before a witch from our family tapped into her unique powers she can do little things like levitation?"
Sarah put her hands in her lap slowly and murmured, "Vaguely."
"That's all baby things. And for the few days before your birthday we're going to have to cram fifteen years of training into that." After a pause, she tilted her head a bit. "How well did you sleep?"
"I slept okay, I guess."
"Good, because you'll be exhausted by the time we're through with the first leg." She ignored the wide eyes as she turned to Damien. "King Damien, I would like to ask you something.
"She is part faerie, which means she will have a talent for glamour," she continued without giving much pause. "I can't teach her it because I don't have the ability to perform it. I know someone who can. She's not part of the Seelie court, mind." She smiled softly. "Actually, she lives with her father. But the thing about her father is that he's a dragon."
Sarah was suspicious. She didn't mind that Felicity spoke as if she wasn't sitting across from her, so she was free to lean forward slightly as if she could better understand what she was saying.
"And my sister-in-law –" technically, she wasn't, because Foster never proposed to her; usually faeries had one night stands and that was it. "Doesn't usually go to any kingdom without Cindimir. So would it be all right if I sent for them? If not, Sarah and I could always go to their cave."

Alister would chuckle seeing the Sarah's embarrassment again he thought the same as Crevan did, that she was cute when she did that. He would drool over the beignets put before him and Sarah, he watched Anya crumble bacon over his and he nearly whined like a hell hound. Anya giggled at him having to wait for his, " I am sorry friend I wont do it again "
She said with smile setting bacon at the side for Sarah along with several arrangements of regular dishes of food. Damien would lean back in his wife's seat and raise a brow to Felicity as the two started to talk about Sarah's training. He had thought only dark magic exhausted the user, considering the witches he used only pulled from life from around them if they did white magic. Dark magic fractured the soul and ate away at any ones essence if left inside the blood, hence why witches and vampires co existed for centuries.
Though his ancestors were greedy seeing the witches need them more then them, (all so a lie) so they enslaved them by their needs. His history was boring because most of it was run deep with dictators and tyrants. Damien had all but drowned out their blathering till Alister while he had been shoveling food in his face like a mad man dropped his fork. Then all in the same motion slammed his fist down on the table, his eyes flitting to the Royal vampire color.
" Sarah is not going out of this realm with out m....Crevan" Alister whined licking his fingers, Damien himself had jumped at his sudden outburst. Anya blinked and gently petted Alister's head like a dog, " It is ok that is what you are for right?" Alister would nod before going back to his eating. " I could go along if they are not willing to travel to this realm" Damien sat back again, " I would say its up to my brother but he isn't here. So I guess its up to Miss Sarah."

It wasn't the magic that would exhaust Sarah. But the lack of sleep. That was why Felicity asked if she slept decently. Cramming a lot of lessons into a few days was not only going to physically tire her out, but mentally, as well. Felicity thought of it as magic boot camp.
Then she didn't think at all, hands going to her chest as if grasping at her frantic heart. Her breathing stopped, her ocean-colored eyes as wide as saucers. It held the same startled feeling as Sarah's had, but her daughter squeaked and held her hands up – palms out and parallel with her shoulders – as if she was caught doing what she wasn't supposed to be doing.
And then Felicity went back to her own plate, as if having someone blow up after she said something was a daily occurrence. His pause though had her wondering what he stopped himself from saying. At the mention of Crevan, curiosity traveled a tingling finger up her spine before grasping her shoulders conspiratorially. Felicity couldn't help it. Who was this man that Sarah couldn't leave the realm without?
It had something to do with that ring. And how Damien called her princess. It befuddled her. "So long as you don't have sticky fingers," she replied to Alister. "Cindimir doesn't care too much for thieves." To Damien, she gave a slight incline of her head before looking toward Sarah.
Who didn't like to be put on the spot. She did have an interest in meeting this dragon; who can say that they met a dragon before, honestly? Add to the fact that this dragon was supposedly her grandpa. (She didn't believe it though – she was pretty sure the anatomies of a faerie and a dragon were completely different from each other, but everyone was acting as if it happened on a daily basis.)
And Felicity's sister-in-law (another aunt, she figured) knew glamour. So, she couldn't help but want to meet her.
Though this wasn't a matter if she wanted to or not, was it? It was whether she wanted to go there or for them to come here. Fidgeting with the ring, she gave a lift of her shoulder. "If they can't make it here then we should go there. But if at all possible I'd rather stay here."
"Great," Felicity said before taking a bite of her food, "I'll get a hold of them after breakfast."
**
Felicity got a response an hour after she sent the note through the portal. She and Sarah stood across from each other, in the garden of the palace. The older woman had a feather in the palm of her hand, amusement flickering in her gaze to see Sarah staring at it with hard eyes. "You didn't hear a word I said, did you?"
This caused Sarah to look up, her concentration broken. "Huh?"
"Witches don't have the Jedis' Force. At least, our family doesn't. We have to use our hands and mouths. Do you remember the word I used to make the feather fly beforehand?"
A blush and a shake of her head later, Felicity sighed patiently before Felix – a bird like gadget that Cindimir coaxed some poor sod to give him – ripped through the air and dropped a gold coin on the ground.
Sarah took a glance upward at the sky, startled, didn't notice anything (since Felix zipped out of sight after he did his job), then asked, "What was that?"
"An acceptance to my letter of invitation. Your father's family will be here just as soon as I finish teaching you the little things." Felicity bent down, grasped the coin, then stood up again. "Want this?"

Alister eyed the woman with a little disgust before he went back to his lovely breakfast. Thief? Who did she think he was some street urchin, he kept his eyes from the woman the rest of the time. Damien would sigh softly rubbing the bridge of his nose before standing and with a small smile he would bow before moving to walk away. " Take all the time you need to enjoy breakfast. I have matters to attend to. " He said walking out, he need to check on his wife.
He did imagine it was time to abolish the stone throne, he saw how weak she was growing. He could remember when she would stay awake all day and night casting magic willfully.
He wanted to change all that was happening now, but his father had laid up in the castle as of now most likely trying to weasel his way back onto the throne. He hadn't the time for him though now he must play baby sitter, he went in search of his fathers witch. The only one that back talks him with out fear.
~*~
Alister would watch from afar when the bird flew over head he would slowly tug on his gloves, turning his attention to the coin that had come with the bird. From a distance he could not see what it looked like, but he really didn't want to be any closer to Sarah's mother. She had called the chair black magic, when in true that it was; it left him wondering if they were going to part with it.
And if so would the kings guardsmen be next, even though they were bound to the king or who ever the king wished.(I.E. The King's brother or Sarah. ) If the bound was broken they would not be able to walk around as freely as they did, some still didn't like the thought of being bound by a seal. But Alister was one of the few that loved being here, it would be a cold day in hell before he was sent back.
He would refuse it to the mountains and back, " So you can tell she is else where when you speak to her. She most likely will be till she sees Crevan again. Smitten she is" He said with a smile. " Ja she has eyes only for the Kings General 'The Crimson Blade' " He could not help but chuckle as he got closer wanting to see the coin and what realm it came from.

Hesitantly, Sarah plucked the coin from Felicity's fingers. Upon closer inspection she saw that on one side of the lopsided circle there was a crest. And the other … a lady? Or a man? She couldn't tell, particularly; it was quite old. She couldn't even discern the writing. "Sure…" she trailed off, then turned to Alister when he started to speak. At first, she didn't register that he was speaking about her. When she did (at the mention of Crevan) she blushed and shook her head.
"Am not," Sarah said in her defense, as if she were at a sleepover and everyone teased her about crushing on a cute guy at school. Which meant that her words were very unbelievable. "I wouldn't say smitten."
She was taken aback slightly at the nickname, but it was Felicity that said something. A brow was raised, and if she hadn't had the feather in her hand she would have crossed her arms. Instead, she kept her palm up. "'The Crimson Blade'? I'd ask how he got that title, but I can take a guess." How can her sweet daughter even let herself fall for a man like that?
So she had no right to be so protective. She hadn't been in Sarah's life until just now. But could anyone blame her? Crevan was (she assumed) a few thousand years old. Sarah was nearly sixteen. Crevan was the general – GENERAL – of the king's army. Sarah was just now learning her heritage.
She repressed a sigh, then smiled at Sarah (who was giving her a small glare). "Anyway. I would like to meet him," she said after a few moments. "Where is he right now?"
"Why do you want to meet him?" Sarah asked in response, coin in her loose fist. Felicity was making her feel uncomfortable, with how she sounded as if she disapproved of Crevan. That, and she didn't expect for Felicity to be willing to want to go see him without coaxing
"No reason." She had a few, but none that neither Alister or Sarah wanted to hear; she saw the look of disgust he gave her at breakfast. And she remembered when she was Sarah's age she did, indeed, first meet and became infatuated with Foster. History did have a tendency to repeat itself.

Alister would smile as he inched closer to Sarah before gently plucking the coin from her fingers to inspect the quality of gold. " Hmm I wonder if this could be ground down for ingredients. " He mumbled half ignoring her mother before he would raise a brow" Hm? I am sorry you were saying?"
He chuckled as if it was a joke before waving his hand, setting the coin back into Sarah's hand before he walked slowly towards Felicity. His eyes seemed to change colors and shapes, one was like a cats another was a goats. He could not help but chuckle." Ja? you want to know? " He was having to much fun with Felicity. He would glance to Sarah and raise a brow." If you say so little princess "
Being taken aback a little when Felicity said she wanted to see him, he let Sarah speak not being able to form any words. He would nod" Well he is not here. He is in the Outer Isle handling some things. " He was not about tell them they were running drills, and exterminating some issues.
"But I can take you both there if you like?" He doubted she would pay attention any closer even if she was near him. But it could be worth a shot he thought. Turning to Sarah he raised his brow as if asking her, because her decision always made it final. He was her guard after all while Crevan was away, most likely even when he was near; he was to and forever be her guard.
~*~
Several of the inner ring of tents had left from the station they were in near the castle, they had come to form a ring around the Generals tent on one of the farthest isle. It was extremely foggy in the area most of the evenings, looked something like out of a old horror flick in the graveyard. " Sir the village has several sick and wounded. I am sure they are here some where sir. " Crevan was staring over a chart before turning to the man.
" Of course they are. When we stopped the ferry's going to any of the isle they would of had to be trapped." He would move to attach his weapons to his armor, putting on his helmet he would move out of his tent. " Tell the soldiers to flank the north side of the island and make their way in. I will with a few cover form this side and do the same. Move out soldiers!" He wanted to see for himself what shape the village was in. He knew there was a type of infection running through a sect of vampires, it was most likely turned humans.
Two of his men with witches went with the rookies, the rest stayed with Crevan moving towards the village. It being only a small fishermen isle it being so small, that it would take less then a day to travel across it. But with magic they could move distances in a short time, though it would take them a moment to recover moving that many. These soldiers were young men coming of age yet to pick their scions, and the more experienced were their to watch over them in this drill.
Bleeding their witches would cause a frenzy if any happened to be near by, the infected acted purely on instinct. The only god send was they were easy to kill, slicing their head off or stabbing them in the chest would make them burn into ash if silver coated with wolf's bane steak was shoved in. The swords could be coated in it as well.

"Hey, now," Sarah said in protest shortly after Alister took the coin from her. She wasn't a kleptomaniac. Never stole something in her life. But the girl was the type of person to live by the adage "finders, keepers". And although Sarah didn't necessarily find it, Felicity did offer.
Though she didn't stamp her foot and demand it back; instead she had her hands on her hips and pursed her lips. Felicity knew right then she took after Foster and Cindimir. Because she gave the man a toothy grin after he returned it.
"If you're willing to tell me, by all means please do." Felicity stood her ground when Alister came closer, not at all frightened. If she had seen him change his eyes she would have, simply for the fact that whenever her family interacted with demons it never ended well. And she feared demons.
Though she didn't, because half her attention was solely on Sarah, who was looking over her guard's shoulder curiously. "The Crimson Blade" sounded like Crevan acquired that title very violently. And he was a man of war. He could be temperamental, and because of that he could lose it and hurt Sarah somehow. What if it was a reoccurring thing, and Sarah ended up dying?
Felicity found it hard to breathe.
Sarah didn't see the change, even as she stepped closer to stand beside the two of them. Instead she was having some internal battle within herself. Yes, she was smitten with Crevan. And she didn't know how to feel about that. Growing up with Science-loving people, there was no such thing as "love at first sight". Sure, she's read about it. But she wasn't sure that her feelings toward him were that.
It could be, though. In this realm, or any realm for that matter (maybe even the human realm) Science didn't work here.
Was this love? Or infatuation? Sarah wasn't sure. "But Crevan took the last ferry." She definitely wanted to see him, though, even if she didn't know how to describe what she felt for the man. And Felicity was all for going over there, too.
If only Anya could come. Then she would have everyone with her. "How would we get to the Outer Isle?"

Alister's grin would fade before he waved his hands. " Well the only one way a blade turns crimson is the spilling of blood of course. He always meets his mark when defending King and Country " He would look to Sarah his eyes taking the color it originally had when she first saw them. " Oh he did?"
Alister knew they would be keeping the ferries from going, he had not thought about that. " Well first we must find a witch. I am sure you know of one. I am not wasting my magic for something so small " In truth he was not going to put a spot on his soul for the jump it would take. All magic even white had a price, and though some believed there were grey spells. There were not any at all, it was most likely a black magic disguised as a harmless spell.
He would shrug his shoulders a little, " Then I suppose we can go. If you are up for it Sarah"Glancing Felicity's way he would raise a brow. What did she think General's did, sit around drinking tea and scones? " Anya should be practicing her magic in the training yard not far from where Crevan was stationed. " He said lightly waiting to follow Sarah where ever she might go.

Anya would be flicking her quill from the pages towards targets, her mother standing not far from her. " Why have you not figured out how to caste spells yet? Are you even trying to learn?" Anya would pause her works before looking at her mother. " I find that our blood currents more through tomes. You are only more powerful because of the objects you hold. If you did not have them then your power would be the same as mine. " Fae stiffened before narrowing her eyes at her.
" That is not even remotely true. And keep your voice down. You should never say things like that. True or not, every where has ears. " She mumbled sighing before moving over to her daughter and touched her shoulder. " You have let him tame you. It is truly a shame. I will have to start again. " Shrugged away from her touch before she gripped her tome" I am not tame. I am just me" She whispered softly.
Fae would sigh shaking her head. " I do not know where you get your meek demeanor from it is not from me" She couldn't understand why her daughter was so 'weak'. Anya would go back to practicing, her mother would watch her speed and Technic. She would then start to practice the dummies that they were using could only with stand a certain amount of power before becoming damaged. The ones she used melted after absorbing Fae's magic. It caused her to smile," See so much more power darling. "

She couldn't help it, but Felicity was irritated with Alister. It was as if he was pushing his buttons and thoroughly enjoying it. Oh, she knew that blood is spilled when a blade is used for it's intended purpose. And he was the leader of the army. Though she was looking for a specific story.
To his smart remark Felicity couldn't help but sigh irritably.
"That's what one of the soldiers said anyway," Sarah said, tightening her grip on the coin. She herself didn't feel comfortable with the metaphorical showdown between Felicity and Alister. And the discomfort she felt slowly but surely turned into a mixture between anxiety and anticipation.
With Alister's explanation about Crevan's nickname, Sarah realized that she accepted a ring from a man that … was very good at his job. No, not like her mother, she didn't believe that Crevan would suddenly go crazy and hurt her. Rather, she was afraid of the possibility that when he went off to do said job he might never come back.
A sudden bout of protectiveness overcame her; if she was to co-own his property then she should be by his side, dang it. To make sure that he doesn't die, "defending king and country" like Alister said. In the back of her mind she wondered if there was a protection spell that she could learn. Or something.
She didn't even stop to think how her thoughts made Alister's "smitten" assumption all the more true. "I don't know where that's at, but let's go." The sooner they got to Crevan, the better.
That was when she finally came to terms that she was, indeed, smitten.

Alister would bow to Sarah and lead the way to the training yard, " Then lets be off."it was around the side of the courtyard. Not far from where they were now, he slowed seeing Fae trying to teach Anya cast magic. It was sad and pathetic how little magic she could make come from her fingers with out the book.
Her mother wanted her to learn to cast with out a item, and learning the words and actions was much easier then strengthening the magic. He would slowly step into the training yard adjusting his tie gently letting out a growl as Fae turned her Pink rimmed eyes on him. His gaze turned a little red as his smirk widened as she began to glare at him. " What the hell do you want guardsmen...we are busy" She nearly snarled. Anya wanted to snap at her mother but she was not like that, though her mother was a royal pain.
Alister would bow and allow Felicity and Sarah to enter the training yard if they had followed. Anya would take up her bag putting it over her shoulder, Fae would sigh rolling her tongue as if tasting the air before she spit. " Demonii dracului" ( Fucking Demon) Anya looked back at her mother perplexed for a moment before shaking her head. She didn't have a clue what her mother was going on about, she smiled to Sarah wanting to walk over and give her a great big hug. Fae would turn to replace the targets that had been destroyed, she seemed ready for target practice .
" Is every thing all right?" She asked them wondering what might have brought them to the training yard. Even though Sarah would need to eventually she did not know if her mother would start with the words or motions before actaully teaching her to cast it or envoke it. Though to be honest she had no clue if their magic would be different then her families, turning to look at her mother who seemed eager to destroy each target she had placed. It felt as if having Alister there made her feel uncomfertable, he had no idea how she knew what he was.
