Crevan watched her as she spoke, his eyes narrowed a little as he could only imagine what she thought of him. He could see himself arguing a lot with her, even though he technically didn't have to. His eyes glanced off when Sarah walked away with Anya, he would turn his back on Felicity and the rest as he went back towards the village. Even though he won the argument by technicality it seemed Felicity got what she wanted which seemed to make his skin crawl that his say was not resolute.
Anya would smile to her to reassure her" I am sure he will not punish him to harshly " She said softly, though the worse that could happen was him being sentenced to death. But Anya was not about to tell her friend that, but her Master was not that irrational when it came to her safety. She could see how her friend was getting sick, and Anya could admit that the thought was not very pleasing.
But she could not smell the flesh burn to long as they turned to ash when killed by the blades that where covered in the liquid. She always smelled a mixture of fresh soil and ash on her Master, with a hint of incense she could not place. He had several smells she liked they were each deep and mysterious in there own way.
" Are you going to be ok?" Anya asked as the clouds started to break up and the sun touched the once gloomy looking island. She was concerned on how the instances that was folding before them put a light on Crevan, she wondered if Sarah was afraid of him even more now. Crevan moved to his men" Take them off the island signal the ferry " The families that had survived where being led towards Sarah and Anya.
Crevan stood watching the flame for a moment, " Felicity I grant you one night to take your daughter to stay with you in the castle. I am sure she would like to spend some time with Anya " He would kneel down putting his brow on the hilt of his sword as he seemed to pray over those that had been slain.
Even though they had been mindless creatures at the time they once had been some one, they still had not figured out what was causing the change.
He blinked wondering if it was because they had been turned instead of born, he closed his eyes hoping the second generation of those would not turn like the rest. He would remain to see if any more showed themselves from the burning depths of the houses.
